This is areally interesting ad top over and I can highly recommend it. The baobabs are a must see the pool is fantastic. The pub lunches are really good. Try the burger one of the best I have had. The communal bathrooms are a big let down. Really good stop over.

I loved this place as it has truly a one of a kind and extremely beautiful setting. The baobabs are encouraged to grow there and are all stunning! Some have clearly been there for hundreds if not over a thousand or so years! What a spectacular place!
The campsite is well maintained and each one comes with its own shelter which is really cool!

Due to the absence of larger mammals in this fenced area the bird life is also quite incredible!

The pool is fantastic and natural to the point where various organisms live in it.

Thank you to the staff and teams working to keep this place lekker!

Simple and small accomodation (the huts), not well maintened (not all lights a working). The special style is nice. Baobab trees are very nice and unique. We haven't join the activities. We booked in the internet for a very high price, and the offring was not clear; It was half board, I couldn't figure it out from the reservation. Wifi is free for half an hour only. Value for money less than expectations.

Through Planet Baobab, participated in an overnight open-air tour in Salt Pan's salt lake in July. The price is reasonably high, but I am impressed with the beauty of the starry sky beyond my expectation in a place where there is no light up to the horizon. It is worth a visit once. This is the first inexperienced experience of sleeping in a sleeping bag on the open air under a natural chandelier where the stars are likely to fall. Since it gets quite cold in the morning, cold protection is necessary. Also, be careful when driving on a salt lake with buggy, as it will be full of dust (salt) throughout your body.

It was a very nice camp and does stick up to its name. Unfortunately I could only spend one night here. It is very African themed. Camp has a nice swimming pool. There isn't a nice restaurant to eat at.

Very original place to sleep in a hut between the baobab trees. Large pool available. WiFi at charge. Dinner choice was limited, but the food was delicious. Staff was very kind. They offer a variety of excursion to the pans nearby.

Yes, the place is great, staff is sympathetic and everything... but why would they put 2 different groups of campers in areas that are practically together if all other areas were empty? We had to stand these noisy people right by our side the whole evening and their shouting child crying during the night. That's unforgivable...

Great venue for a stopover as well as few days, you can use it as a base camp for a few trips onto the pans, they do drives, quads bush walks. No cell reception and wifi is available with 30min and you can purchase vouchers for longer times. Great bar and service, food is scrumptious and we'll prepared. It has an awesome swimming pool and some of the biggest baobabs on the premises with even a hammock set up at one. Great campsite and very well set up rooms.

We did the overnight tour to the Pans and this was a once in a lifetime experience for us. We highly recommend it, the atmosphere, the food, the "beds" were just great. We wouldn't recommend doing it with quads though, it's VERY dusty and you whether can see anything nor breathe nor enjoy the scenery.

It was a wonderful stay! So unique and quirky. Absolutely loved it. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was fantastic and the activities - quad biking, the meerkat meet and overnight stay in the pans under the stars was spectacular.

Large, well-appointed estate. Even if there are people, it does not feel cramped. Disappointed with the restaurant. The sanitary facilities on the campsites are very clean, with hot water. The bar is nicely decorated. Big pool. Paid wifi.

A truly stunning location.

A truly stunning location.
Super staff, spacious and clean accommodation, huge swimming pool and massive baobab trees.
Restaurant offers good dinner, lunches and breakfasts.
The bar area is rather large and well stocked, bar counter layout is rather interesting.
Numerous activities on offer to the Makgadikgadi pans and surrounding attractions.
Well worth the stay.

Definitely worth a stop between Maun and Nata. Very friendly staff and a kitchen that prepares some good meals. They have wifi and a refreshing pool, for residents ONLY. I enjoyed the beautiful rustic huts and the impressive baobab trees make camping there very memorable.
If you have the time they offer some excursions into the Ntwetwe Pans and an exciting visit to see some Meerkats.
Don't pass the big Aardvark! Stop, you will enjoy Planet Baobab

Great oasis in Botswana. It has the biggest pool I ve seen traveling through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
Camping sites are great.
This was the most spacious and well lit bathroom I saw in a while and there was hot water running.
A great place to relax after a whole day on the road.

Great Location, with beautiful landscape. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. It seems like there is a lack of communication between the staff at the reception and the bar/kitchen.
Highly recommend the overnight trip to the pan.

The most remote we were. Despite the lack of anything else there except for the baobabs, I could still have enjoyed many days there relaxing. Peaceful. The campsites are also very spacious with private shade bomas and ample fire pits.
