This hotel is really lovely. It's in a great location within walking distance of many fun things to do and has a lovely view. The location has a number of large rooms and general spaces to hold events, as well as a large bar for meetings.

Everything about the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is top-notch. Staff were always friendly & accommodating, rooms are clean, beds were super-comfortable and the location is superb. You're an easy walk from pretty decent shopping, and tons of excellent restaurants. Power Plant Live, the aquarium...lots of entertainment close by. Couldn't be happier with our stay, thank you!

This is on the more expensive side and it shows. The lobby is gorgeous with some nice restaurants and the rooms are excellent. Helpful staff will take care of everything from parking and cabs to luggage.

Perfect location, if the Visit is in the Bay of Baltimore
In Baltimore, the tourist offer is focused on the bay area, so it is our recommendation when looking for accommodation is to avoid travel, so this Marriott Hotel is a very good option.
It is a traditional hotel with a spacious lobby, equipped with all the comforts of a hotel of its category, read: restaurant, bar, cafeteria, waiting rooms, indoor swimming pool, conference room, cafeteria, sale of snacks on the go, Room service and others, for this reason from the entrance one realizes how spacious and elegant these hotels are.
At the Front Desk the attention is very agile, they wait for you with some pre-filled documents in which you just have to stamp the signature and obviously give the credit card as a guarantee. Elevators are of two types depending on the floor one accesses
The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need including an ironing board, iron, coffee maker stocked with coffee tea, a Frigo bar and a safe. The bedding and towels impeccable and the cleaning of the best. Only the maintenance is seen to be not adequate, partly due to the age of the hotel, but it should improve
If possible when booking, you have to ask for a room with a view of the bay, it costs a little more, but it is well worth the investment.
Since at night the view of the bay, with the illuminated historic ships is incredible, love everything that the tourist Boulevard of this city means, Aquarium included
Breakfast is not included but for what they charge I think it is best to have breakfast in nearby restaurants such as IHop or Mss Shirley, just two or three blocks from the hotel
Parking is complicated and expensive, the hotel offers it as a service in a parking lot on the side street, you have to be careful when taking the car out for the first time, you have to call the parking service staff, after A stamp is necessary to take this receipt to the Front Desk so that they include it as part of the accommodation and thus one can have free access to the parking lot on the days that they are staying. The good thing is that on the second level there is a pedestrian access, similar to +15, that connects directly with the parking lot
The prices are high above its peers, but for all the aforementioned we assign it a very good quality / price ratio

Conference center with waterfront views: The conference area has Everett views of the Baltimore inner harbor, the skyline, and the Federal Hill area across the water. The catering was good. The temperature control was poor with excessive cold for the conference I attended. There are many good food options within walking distance and a good running path immediately outside.

I was a wedding photographer and the bride stayed in one of the suites and the reception was held there. The staff was amazing, friendly, and very helpful. Room was beautiful with a great view. Food was awesome as well.

The heat broke in the middle of the night on one of the coldest nights of the year. Luckily we brought extra blankets of our own for our boys in addition the room we were in was one the sixth floor level with some roof that had huge spot lights that lit up our room all night making it difficult to sleep.

The amenities were quite satisfactory. Water was provided at many stations throughout the hotel as well as refreshments. The lobby and halls were beautiful and home to a lot of excitement. We used one of the ballrooms for our event, and the Marriott provided a cash bar as well as seating arrangements which were nicely prepared. Overall a very good experience.

We booked a king bed room but were given a room with 2 double beds. Normally we would have said something and asked to move rooms but we didn't have time to deal with it. Not the worst thing, just an annoyance. There is no easy street parking anywhere nearby, but expected for the area. I hate the slow TV with no good menu of what's on. Otherwise, the rooms are fine, a good bar and restaurant and it's in a great location.

I stayed at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel in July of 2016 for the PowerSchool University Conference. This hotel is very nice, with a great view of the inner harbor (I was given a complimentary upgrade to this view), and a decent restaurant/bar.

As far as the hotel itself goes, it was very nice, the rooms very comfortable, however, no microwave. This made it difficult as I often had leftovers from meals that I could not reheat.

The view was absolutely gorgeous.

The conference rooms were very nice, however, very spread out over the building. My one complaint, which probably is not a complaint to many, was the escalators between floors. I do not like heights and these were very tall, with a view. I often would double back to the elevators to not have to ride them and only did if I was running late.

The bar/restaurant was much more of a bar than a restaurant and I always took my food to go, taking it back to my room. The main courses were pretty good, however the desserts were lacking.

Stayed July 2016, traveled on business

RIght on the Baltimore Innerharbor with easy walking access to many different nearby destinations such as the aquarium or ice skating rink (in the winter) or visit the Constellation. There are lots of nice restaurants, shops and bars nearby; all within walking distance.

The hotel is recently renovated and is modern and very clean with beautiful views. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The onsite bar & restaurant on the lobby level has great food and a nice casual atmosphere. There is a very decent gym on 3 along with a nice pool. If you read other reviews talking about in room water temperature issues, the issues still exist as of Jan 2020. The hot water at times is non-existent and then when it does come it continues to get hotter and hotter to the point of burning you without any adjusting it down. Adjusting the faucet with the skill of a master safecracker you can usually get a reasonable temperature water. One star off for the poor implementation of cold vs. hot water.

I took off one star for the fact that the concierge lounge is closed from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. This is a terrible practice that far too many Marriott hotels participate in.

Our experience was great, being able to rest and relax was wonderful. I would love to visit this hotel again in the near future. The room was very clean our family loved that, thanks to all the staff that helped us.

This area is very nice. You look around and see ferrari's and Bentleys left and right. Room was pretty standard but the view was awsome. Bar seemed very popular although we didn't go but I would guess fairly pricey. Warning: do not travel far from the harbor area, within a couple miles is not a safe area.

Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. Parking is not provided by the hotel but there is a semi connected garage next door. Parking cost 26 dollars and valet is 38. I would recommend the valet. The extra money is well worth it. Rooms were nice and I enjoyed the view.

This hotel was a pleasure to visit, great location, fantastic rooms, and the staff were some of the best I have felt with. My reservation had an issue, and they made sure I received everything plus for my stay. I look forward to visiting again.

Went to the lobby bar to meet friends. Lobby and bar/restaurant was clean, well lit, and had a good atmosphere. Plenty of TVs in the bar with exits to the outside that overlook the Inner Harbor. Great place to hang out or eat. There is valet parking with an attached garage.

I work at Under Armour and had to return to our headquarters in Baltimore for a few meetings. I booked through our travel site and found the process to be very easy. In the past I have stayed here and have had many coworkers do the same. I always felt comfortable and thought it was a nice hotel, until last week.

I arrived late on a Tuesday after delayed flights, checked in, and went up to my room hoping to crash and get some rest. Immediately I noticed the poor condition of the hallway leading to my room, scratched paint on almost all the other doors, dim lighting, and dingy carpet. Far from how I expected to be greeted and from a hotel chain I've come to trust. I walked into the room and without even setting my bags down, walked right back out and straight to the lobby. I had put in on the reservation King room, and if nothing else I would have expected a Queen, not to sound entitled but for $200 a night, this shouldn't be too much to ask. Instead I found two full beds, a dingy room, a desk chair that was broken, and the air conditioning turned on in the middle of winter. I went downstairs and asked for another room and tried to work with the desk attendant to find an alternate room. He was anything but helpful. Rather rude in his tone, not accommodating, and after 1am ended up going back to my assigned room. I was also told it would be unlikely I could change rooms during my stay, which was a total of 3 nights. Topping things off just before I went to bed, the curtains would not close all the way and the view from my room overlooked a gravel rooftop with floodlights shining directly up on the building and into my windows. A really bad scenario all around. I slept worse this night than I have in a while.

The next day was a first for me, checking out of a hotel and rebooking for the remainder of my stay. Not only did I find a comparable hotel but one much, much nicer nearby (oh and about $50 cheaper per night). I never would have imagined a stay at a Marriott hotel would have resulted in this, a name I had come to expect good things from. Hopefully somehow this can be reassured for a future stay, but for now I won't be booking at another Marriott hotel for some time.

(Two stars for the fast wifi)
