Terrible installation, the backsplash installed looks horrible, horizontal and vertical patterns, charged more than the competitors and looks like a newbie did the work. Left a mess,

I recently bought some vinyl flooring and was very pleased with the product, price, and service. The woman I worked with in Nashua was very helpful in determining exactly how much I needed. The delivery guys were great and saved me a lot of time by bringing the boxes right to the room I was installing the floors in. I will use this location again.

I would like to thank all of the people at Nashua Wallpaper for such a positive experience!! After having carpet installed a couple of years ago, we noticed it was not wearing well and the fibers were coming out. So we decided to call Nashua Wallpaper to come to our home and inspect it. They agreed with us and deemed that it was defective . So we took our concerns to the manufacturer. After getting the runaround from the manufacturer, Dennis,the owner stepped in and made the whole situation right. We went back into their store and picked out new carpet with Shannon,who was very helpful. Bob and Gary did the installation and did a wonderful job. I would also like to thank Eric for all of his help and guidance. If anyone is looking to have any work or remodeling jobs done, I would highly recommend Nashua Wallpaper. They do a great job and stand by their work.They are very professional and easy to work with. In closing, I would like to thank Dennis for all that he did to make this situation right. We are so happy with our new carpet!
Terrible service with rude, unprofessional employees who complain about how busy they are to compensate for poor customer service. I switched to Sherwin Williams years ago but I thought I'd give this local establishment one more try...but it turned into the usual Nashua Wallpaper disaster. Wake up before the big guys put you out of business. Learn from the leaders, learn from Sherwin Williams.
If you call waiting on hold for 20 minutes good service then recommend them
I have been dealing with them since 1995 and never had a bad experience. Prices a little high but service worth every peny. Im a non driver and everything i need is there. No more expensive trips to the other guys! Awesome.
I have been going to Nashua Wallpaper and Paint for years. Despite these negative reviews, I have always received very good service and attention. They have always answered my questions, have been very helpful to both me and my husband. I admit they are busy with the contractors, but I am not intimidated, I wait my turn, ask my questions and I leave satisfied. They've been in the business for years, and they know what they are doing. I will continue going there when it is paint I need, or wallpaper.
Extremely helpful and knowledgeable staff. They know everything about paint and hardware. It is great for one stop shopping. You can buy one screw, nit, or bolt at a time and have an expert guide your choice.
Great Customer Service and Product Knowledge
Kevin in paint department at Nashua Wall Paper was professional, knowledgeable and confident. He took a sample of the wood trim I wanted to match and a piece of the unfinished wood - told me to leave them with him he would figure it all out for me and call me with the answer the next morning.
Sure enough he called next morning with it all figured out. When I pick up my wood and supplies, he organized and numbered all the products and brushes.
I was so very impressed. I will never waste my time at the big box stores ever again.

I just discovered that Kevin is no longer in the paint department. He was my go to guy for all of my clients' color choices and I sent clients to Nashua Wallpaper & Paint (even all the way from Mass) to go see Kevin. He will be sorely missed!

Researched the exact interior paints for the the house we just bought. I was able to do touch ups all over the house with perfect matches to the existing 5 year old paint. Great people!!
This is a great store right in downtown. Not too many people know that they also have a large selection of tile, flooring, bath, and kitchens.

This is a mixed review. So the positive first. 5 STARs to ACE: The people in ACE couldn't be better. Excellent customer service and excellent selection of products.
Where this review takes a dive is working with the people in flooring department or perhaps their contractors. My first experience was when we ordered hard wood flooring and installation for our upstairs. The flooring was priced right and the installer for that was great but when the carpeting contractor showed up to merge the carpeting on the stairs with the hard wood flooring he was terrible. It started with complaints that he had to walk up stairs to get there. Then got worse. He cut the carpet short, and then had to pull the carpet to get it to reach and damaged the existing carpet. When stapling it nearly ruined the carpet and covering the staples he had to put in a ton of staples to hold it and damaged some of the carpet. He then walked out to his truck so I thought he was coming back in to clean up his mess but no, that was it he was done. But I chalked this up to perhaps a bad contractor. I didn't leave a review then because I liked the sales person and the rest of the experience.
This go round I'm doing a bathroom remodel and started with the bathroom flooring. Asked for samples of something that they did not have in stock. 4+ weeks went by without a phone call. The sales person really didn't seem to care or put in any effort to help us, just interested in taking our order. We explained we were remodeling a bathroom and putting in granite counters and under mount sinks but also didn't seem of interest for them so I went elsewhere for the rest of our bathroom materials. Perhaps my orders were not big enough as a DIY project and they prefer to deal with contractors. Either way I am disappointed as I prefer to work with local businesses rather than the big box stores.
Staff and owner was helpful. Very good selection of tools and parts. Location is convenient. Highly recommended.

Just discovered this hardware store and it's a corker. Unlike the big box stores like HD and Lowes they actually have a great selection of hard-to-find hardware like stainless! In contrast to the one other review here, everyone was very helpful and nice. I miss my Green's Ace Hardware in Marblehead but now I have a place I can count on! 5 stars and free parking of their own around the corner! Try them if you need something unusual where the big box stores just can't cut it! Supports local business too!
