Entry on Saturday evening totally overpriced. Cloakroom must be paid extra per piece of clothing or bag. It already extinguished me there so I didn't order a drink. Only the view compensates a little.

New seat reservations at 1:00 am are completely off. Stop it and give priority to those who have been there for some time. First come - first served!

Super bar with a great view, perfect cocktail variations and very courteous staff! Nice atmosphere and great evenings are guaranteed =)

Atmosphere, decor, very warm welcome from the waitress who in addition made the effort to speak to us in French with a smile and our cocktails, fries and shrimp on top !!!

I went for an aperitif, so sunset.

Wide selection of cocktails, gins, whiskeys and rums.

I have to say the view outside is awesome. Unfortunately that's all. For the prices you should keep the chairs and bar stools already in the shot. They look like hell. The place does not look nice and the air stinks. Sorry I do not go much too expensive.

Perfect for a drink enjoying the views of Basil. Acceptable prices within what fits in Switzerland. (You have to visit the bathroom if or if also).

It's alright, if you are coming from a big city like NYC you'll be disappointed. The views are just okay in my opinion. Drinks are not too expensive though I guess. 17 CHF for a White Russian.

We were there last Saturday around early evening. Had reserved in advance. and it worked out quite well. There is nothing to complain about about my drinks, except that you now have more ice than alcohol in your drink and if you order a glass of Prosecco that it is really poured out! My two colleagues had a mojito drink. The filling quantity of this slim glass was max. 2.5 dl., Inside there were of course a lot of ice cubes and two huge stems of mint, which were really stuffed in and filled the glass even more. The whole thing then cost about 20 CHF per drink, which almost made me flip over when I saw the bill. Then only the great view could really calm me down a little. But only until I visited the toilet. This is simply under all sow and not worthy for such prices and for this location. It smelled very strongly of urine and the very spartan interior is really minimalistic and just ugly and getting old. The partitions are cheap thin walls. If one then asks such substantial prices, then I ask for a clean and contemporary toilet. Incidentally, the smell of odor was also very present in the men's toilet !! And it was still early evening ......

The service is nice but the main reason to go there is obviously the view you have on the city

Arrogant, no entry with shorts and no female company. You guys are not in Basel in New York or Miami

Well .. Unfortunately deteriorated by quality. DJ At best plays average music.

Okay view, nothing special. I was pretty annoyed that I was forced to check in my jacket even though it was not that thick and i was still cold upstairs. Just a brazen money grab. It was not worth the entry fee either :/. Stay away.

Best view in town (that is publicly accessible) the prices are taking this into account but are not excessive. Particularly nice after dark.

A must go if you like cocktails (around 16 CHF) and want to get a view of the city!
Cocktail bar in the 31st floor directly at the Messeplatz. Amazing view , even at the washrooms :D. If you want a place near the window or in general, I would recommend to reserve online beforehand and to be on time. Although they keep the reservation open for 30 min, it's not nice if other people were already seated and have to make space.
The staff is mostly friendly and has good recommendations as well - foundy new favourite cocktail!

Great in everything, especially the view, you can easily go there alone because it is in a hotel and therefore it is not noticeable.

On the 32nd floor, magnificent view of Basel and the surrounding mountains. The card is complete with cocktails or soft drinks. There are many people on Sundays or holidays in Basel like the autumn festival, sometimes you have to wait to get a table at the windows. The staff is very polite and helpful. Good music and good cocktails.

Were there yesterday with a visit from abroad. Great bar with great views and stylish equipment as well as great DJ. Also an impressive selection of drinks. Unfortunately we were allowed to wait 30 minutes without the only service person showing up once. And that at beverage prices in the upper segment where you expect expedient service! Cleanliness at 10:30 pm left a lot to be desired. On the whole, rocked down a bit and not what it used to be! I personally can and will only recommend this location as a viewing platform.

As you know, HAMMER outlook which hardly exists anywhere else in Basel. During my visit, the drinks in about 3 minutes was finished, despite the fact that the place was full. Proffesional and friendly service and great atmosphere. Keep it up. Thank you for the great evening.

Good place in Basel for a drink. Magnificent views of the city.

Rather not, badly good music. On the other hand the entry 20 chf I find that abused because in addition we have to pay our consumption. It makes sense for consumption, but for the entrance I think it's theft. With my companion we paid a total of 70 chf entry + 2 soft drinks I find it excessively expensive

Beautiful place, but they charged us twice what we ordered.

Very nice and modern. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are very good! During the week between 9am and 10am you have the bar almost all to yourself.

+ Cool location with a fantastic view.
+ Large selection of gin varieties.
- The cocktails were mediocre. Perhaps you'd better hire a bartender who installs less rear-end, pseudo-cool moves, but who tastes convincing ?!
- The service was friendly, but totally overwhelmed.

Good guests treated differently. The lady who settles down the inlet does not seem to have any idea of that.

Disappointing, the party was not a sensational event

It is known as a tourist trap type of place, but for good reason. The drinks are perfectly good. The view over all Basel is amazing. Take the special elevator to the top floor.

It had a charming view of Kleinbasel and the atmosphere is not bad. However, it had older people and a few younger people.
And ATTENTION: always appear with ladies escort!

Nice place, nice town, nice bar but absolutely rude staff, dirty tables and lots of empty glasses from the previous visitor on the table. Very hectic staff with bad manners very very bad.

We had been here for a long time on a Saturday because the new format sounded promising. Admission with 20. - (and still at 01.30 clock) much too expensive for what is offered. Drink prices high, music average. Bad air, lower dancefloor stinks of toilet duck. And above all: the female guests behave like in a brothel, accordingly, the male visitors are set - women's accompaniment or not. However, the facility also seems to be defined to this target group, looks cheap and has nothing to do with "rouge" - far too dark. Hardly any mood - a pity about the "old" Barrouge a few years ago.

Unfriendly - waitress accused us of not paying despite presentation of receipt. Fortunately, the bartender could testify. 30, - CHF for two non-alcoholic drinks incl. 5, - tip. Absolutely inappropriate.

Well so "Rouge" is not the whole thing anymore. Something tedious security in the Reinkommen apparently as a lottery is drawn. Neat visitors and fine drinks. View sensational and even the toilet visit is unintentionally an experience.

Amazing view of the whole city. The cocktail menu is great, lots of choices and they are excellent.

Wanted to have a drink with 3 friends were rejected by the poorly speaking doorman ... Reason no female escort: single party event where is the point? Well, do not recommend anyone to consume anything here, therefore 0 stars and never again.

Such bouncers can do nothing but mess up decent people, but luckily there are enough alternatives.

It was a great afternoon, and the service was perfect.

I recommend you to watch the sunset on a sunny day. A view over Basel at the end of the day and the beginning of the night ....
