Stayed here for a few days and it was adequate enough for what I needed which was a place to sleep while I spent most of the time traveling outside. The rooms were spacious enough and clean and I didn't have any issues with that during my stay at Ballys. The hotel downstairs is always busy because of the casino, which is standard for Vegas. My only complaint is that I wish the hotel offered more to do including better food options.

Service was fairly quick, and the rooms were clean. Toilet was a bit loud, might have just been my room though. Waitresses for drimk during gambling were nice and frequent. Lost 100$ on the way out
Found the hiring staff to be professional, and articulate. Although, I was a little confused by the 2 random questions that were asked, for some reason I could see no correlation between the questions asked, and someones' capability to do the job requested. Never been to an interview like this before. It reminded me of cattle calls for modeling. Totally arbitrary and very random.
Customer service needs a lot of work. If you happen to need any support.... gooood luck trying to get it. It seems they are focussing on quantity, not quality!
I've stayed here numerous times over the last ten years. I decided to bring my wife this time, who is a diamond member. No one greeted us on arrival or directed us to the automated check in. It was my birthday and I got no freeplay, not even a drink coupon for a cocktail. We were staying there for 3 nights. First night the room was so stuffy I woke up at 2am completely parched to discover no water in the room. I walked to the vending machine and bought $3 btl of water and only had a $5 bill. Machine proceeded to spit out 40 nickels as change. I trudged back to the room, exasperated, carrying my beloved water and 3 pounds of nickels. After inhaling 1 btl split between 2 people, I called the front desk to ask for water. I was transferred to room service and waited on hold for 10 minutes before deciding to resolve the issue in person, which I didn't want to deal with at 2am. However, I'm not one to give up so I pushed on and headed down the elevator to the front desk. After telling the agent about the dilemma and the nickels, she says "that's unusual" about the nickels and "we don't just GIVE out water". No "I'm sorry" or "I appreciate that you're upset". I explained that my wife is a diamond member and a long time patron of their property and that we were there 3 nights and I thought that they could part with the waters. She then says "I can give you ONE." At this point, my frustration was beginning to boil over, so I asked to speak to the manager. Upon the escalation, she reluctantly grabs another btl and dangles it a foot away from my hand, like a carrot. "I would've given you 2, if you didn't have the attitude", she then says. It took every strain of will power to restrain myself, but I was simply too tired to give the details to this woman as to how my attitude had developed to that point. Needless to say, I was less that thrilled with the quality of service here and the room amentities are less than that of a cheap roadside motel.
The room was big and spacious. Great space to relax. Their pool are has a nice green area that provides shade. I will definetly be staying here in the future.
Bally s has a great location on the strip, but it s honestly pretty ghetto. I have been here a few times and it feels sketchy. It also has an interesting smell.
Staff was nice but the management's philosophy is all about up charges. Normal courtesies like an early check in when moving from one room to another in the same hotel are an extra charge. Not a good site for a conference.
Nice stay. Kind of felt they were pushing us out the morning we left. Housekeeping left opening our door seeing if had left. They didn't even knock. If expect that from a motel-6 but not Bally's. Also during the summer when temperatures are hitting 104 everyday they ought to open the pool at 8am instead of 9am. At 9am so many people we're waiting. It's hot, give us an extra hour. Otherwise nice place friendly customer service.
I had was a wonderful time. For starters you share the parking lot with the Paris Casino, Little confusing at first. Once in the casino you go to the check in desk, you sign into a kiosk, it doesn't take long to check in, you get the key to your room. The room I stayed in was great it had a king size bed, shower two small couches, desk, and flat screen tv. The room was carpeted. In the casino there are plenty of restaurants and bars with in the Casino so no need to travel far. Another perk I like was that the Casino had shows and destinations to the Grand canyon and Hoover Dam. Let me not forget plenty of slot machines and tables with games like Poker, Craps, Roulette and Texas hold'em. So much to do so little time. I would definitely be coming back. One thing I would do next time I travel would be to have an Itinerary list. This being my first time was a little overwhelming of the many things to do.
The rooms near the elevator are a bit more noisy than others, so be warned. The casino is a typical casino, crowded noisy and very busy, but you can find some places that aren't so crowded if you look. Over all i enjoyed my time there and there were plenty of places to eat on any budget and they can be found without even leaving the hotel, you just have to look.
I have stayed nowhere but Bally s in Las Vegas for the past 10 years. Their customer service is incredible. I am always treated kindly and made to feel like a high roller (I m not). A little kindness gets you a long way at check in!
We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was nice and recently remodeled. The bathroom was very large, with two totally separate sink/counter areas which was great - my wife took over one of them for her makeup area and used that space to get ready each day, and I used the one in the actual bathroom area. Nice stand-up shower as well. The bed was comfy and the room was plenty big. We used the kiosk to check in which I highly recommend - the line for checking in at the counter was quite long when we arrived. We also used the kiosk to check out which was quick and easy. If you can avoid getting a room facing the large ferris wheel I would as that road was quite noisy for us. If you are on that side, I would recommend getting a room as high up in the tower as possible. Lots of sirens and traffic noise at all times of the day. That was the only negative and that isn't even the hotel's fault obviously. The location is excellent - right in the heart of the strip and close to everything you want to be close to. There are some great dining/drinking options right outside the hotel which was convenient as we were coming back in for the night. Overall I definitely recommend staying here - the price was right and the location is excellent.
Nice and big hotel in the heart of Vegas. Rooms are clean, just renovated, cleaning service works as a clock, big, soft comfortable bed and pillows, good quality towels, coffee and a coffee machine for coffee lovers and big computer table for those who came to Vegas to work for some reason. Small lounge area by the window area in your room (room is big - 49 m2). Many restaurants, bars, shops, casino in the lobby of the hotel. Outside the hotel there is endless amount of places where you can eat, drink and entertain. Big shopping mall in 2-3 mins walking from Bally's. Paris hotel is right around the corner. I would put 5 stars but when we checked in there was an unfriendly and negative girl at the counter. Enjoy)
Could stand to replace the chipped furnishings, do something about the sewer gas, & stop charging outrageous prices during conferences. Location is good.
Rooms were very nice. I liked that, because we denied house keeping, we got a 10 dollar food voucher. It was more expensive than I would like (there were several events happening that weekend that brought up the price) but it was a great location and excellent room. Disappointed there is no longer a shuttle to the Rio, though.
The newly renovated rooms are large and Willow. The bathroom was helping huge walk-in shower instead of a tub. The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Review for the resort towers lower floors leaves a lot to be desired but who's complaining?
My hotel stay was great here. It wasnt expensive and the location was within walking distance of many Las Vegas attractions. We stayed in the newly renovated tower which we had no complaints about. We had friends stay in the older tower and those rooms seemed not much different from ours. The hotel may conduct a safety check in your room which was a first for me, so I dont know how others would respond to it. They just go in and check the windows, fire safety devices, etc. Overall good stay.
This place is nothing special. The only way I recommend to people is if you're doing Vegas on a budget. If you can find a good deal then Bally's is in a good location.
We had to attend a conference held here so we were here each day for 8 hours, five days in a row. The customer service was average. I didn't feel ignored but didn't especially feel taken care of in regards to my encounters with staff. The food in restaurants was middle of the road. Some casinos do a great job with the smoke however Bally's does not. As a smoker even I found the air quite gross. If I were staying with children I would probably look elsewhere. We hit the food court twice and it was as one would expect for the strip. Subway was reasonably priced, Johnny Rockets was high imo for what you get. Their cashier the day I went was watching a video on her phone while she took our order which explains the incorrect order we received. Overall the place was OK. It is not a place I'd would return to for a stay cation or a nice dinner out.
Dirty room . Never cleaned. Just replaced bed sheets and towels. Won't be back. Had someone else's hair in shower on tile for the entire six days. Don't think they dust at all. Very dissatisfied. Got sinus infection while here.
Bally's was an ok casino, but their tables were not all that great. Being connected to Paris I thought it was going to be spectacular and it was not. Their restaurants were not at all good. Small portions for a big price was not at all flattering.
If you enjoy waiting in line for 45 Minutes for a cup of coffee in the morning, this is the place for you! Motel 6 has coffee in the rooms. In an effort to squeeze a few extra dollars out of their guests, Bally's forces them to either wait for nearly an hour for a $5 drip Coffee from Lavazza or get a $12 coffee with room service. Oh, and I called room service this moving, "delivered in 30 minutes or it's free!" It says in the menu. On the phone they said, "It'll be 45 minutes, is that ok?"
I hope the shareholders are happy, because the guests are not!
Other than smoke in casino, which is most casinos, it was a better experience than expected. I've stayed at really nice hotels in Vegas and sort of looked down on some of the older looking hotels but the room is nice and was cheapest at the time of booking. Was able to get connecting rooms last minute, which was also helpful. Pool isn't anything special other than the kids thought 12 get was amazingly deep. Water was super warm but with 115 degree air still feel nice.
The first thing you have to know is Bally's hotel complex is HUGE! Our first day here was just spent walking the books and corners of the place. Anything you could possibly want from gambling to food to merchandise is here. As for our room. Clean and comfortable! You'll love this place!
Playing with the machines was ok, better than the hi end Casinos where the machines are programmed to receive. I will never play in any big Casinos for they are rip offs. This my second time to go to Vegas, I guess my last, It is not for me!
Rooms are as clean as you can expect. The casino floor is pretty tame but still enjoyable. However, I do get the sense that the entire place is held together by duct tape. We ended staying in 2 rooms, the first room had electrical issues. The bathroom lost power 2 times, each time we weren't even using anything more than the lights. The second room's AC didn't work very well. It kept the temp around 75F even though it was set to 65. That being said, the maintenance crew was super quick to help us with our problems and was very nice.
Just stayed here for the first time. Very affordable for the last location. We had a strip view of the Eiffel tower and the Belagio fountains. Awesome view!! Not the fanciest hotel but it was perfect for us! Not a lot of food options besides their small food court (don't eat at the Chinese food place.. we returned our food). There was a good burger restaurant though. I enjoy the slot machines there more then some of the others. We would go back:)
Center strip resort, newly remodeled resort tower rooms! Great food court offers Johnny Rockets burgers, Sbarro Pizza, Subway, Nathan s Hot Dogs, and Pan Asia Express, right across from the Sports Book! 12ft deep end pool. Grand Bazaar shops in front offers many restaurants and boutiques. CVS Pharmacy in front too! Limited room service hours though only 6am to 1 pm. One hour free self parking. Great steak house, BLT Steak! Directly connected with Paris Resort & Casino, so you have access to more dining, shopping, and entertainment!
this hotel is very nice and the staff is very attentive. Unfortunately the elevator situation is a different story. Having to wait almost 35 minutes to go from the 70th floor to the lobby with crazy. Finding out later that the other two elevators were out of order. They got it cleared up fairly quickly but having to wait that long and there was three elevators was kind of an awkward moment. Overall the experience was good and rooms are very nice and up-to-date.
We stayed in the upgraded room and it was fantastic. The slots are a bit tight and slow on sercice even in the high roller area. The room was comped but i would have paid the thing rate if needed. Compared to the other cheap hotels, this one is the best.
They took away my points and refused to even look in my account as to what happened. I know about the 6 month rule, but I live here and I go often enough for that that wasn't the case.
Nice hotel. Clean room, comfy bed, nice staff and a lot of food choices. Bring your wallet full this isn't a cheap vacay. I wondered thru to Paris. It was a nice calm walk and a great way to work off the breakfast buffe
My wife and I are staying here because my work conference is here. The staff have been very helpful and incredibly nice. They were able to get us the room we requested and were helpful with setting up our rewards account. Our room is a king with a rooftop view and it is actually a decent view with some of the strip. The room itself is comfortable, and for the price, a great deal. Bally's is pretty central to everything on the strip so the location works out well.
Currently staying at the Bally. I have a room by the elevator and they told me it MIGHT be noisy. I can t even sleep because my room is shaking from the elevator. I took a few sleeping pills and still can t sleep because all the noise. Tried headphones and It s too loud I can t even drown out the noise.
You would think that with the money they charge they could aford to put coffee in your room so you could use the coffee maker they so kindly provided. Even the crummiest roadside motel provides coffee to make in the room. Paying a $30/day resort fee so you can use their internet and "free" gym is a rip off too. Don't expect anything special from Bally's !
Our party tried to get the penthouse we reserved one night early but the front desk said there were none available. But when we arrived at our penthouse one day later, everything was dusty (the beds, the floors, the counters, etc.) and some of the sinks "exploded" on us as if they weren't used for a long time. Other than that, the penthouse was really nice. Also, the hotel in general reeked of tobacco. You can smell it right when you enter.
Oh man. No beueno. Didn't have our reservation suite so offered $20 credit. Ha! After saying no, they somehow found the room available! Hotel is generally awful. Room is old. Interesting smells. VERY LOUD ELEVATORS kept us up at night. The whole place needs an overhaul.
Great place to gamble. It very convenient since it is also on the strip and it can connect to another casino. The hotel room was nice and clean, the one problem is that the AC isn't to strong.
It was a very fun environment! The hotel is a little older than some of the others but it still packs a punch and the staff was very friendly. This place felt like Vegas!
Nice renovation of the property, but a lot a smoke smell in the casino. Stayed in a suite which is beautiful but the exposed shower and bath makes it awkward for additional guests.
Check in was great, although no upgrades available (assume due to our late arrival). Room huge and we'll appointed. Bathrooms nice. Only qualm would be the loud central AC in the resort tower. Don't know if this is the same for jubilee tower. Mini fridge and coffee maker in room.
