Very well looked after great food service and accommodation
Visited dublin back in March and stayed here and I got to say it's such a lovely hotel. My room was so comfy and the breakfast in the morning was so nice too. I'd definitely go back to this hotel. 10 minutes taxi ride the the main centre too.
Only here for a brief visit. But like any large hotel it had all the service and staff were friendly and helpful.
Management decided to close the toilets in the conference room and only left the toilet in the lobby open on a match day after serving alcohol drinks to possibly 1000-1500 people... there were men using the car park for a toilet who could blame them this hotel had no respect for its customers disgusting to say the least won't be back
Excellent service. Very nice room with good beds. The view left a bit to bed desired with a construction site and another building just across the road. But otherwise a really good stay. Not too far from town to walk and they have an excellent bar and restaurant in the hotel. Reasonably priced too!
Fantastic place staff food well worth a visit or stay
Good hotel, comfortable room. Should pay attention to some little details: had to have reset the key (card) twice. Door in room didn't shut properly. No safe in room. This morning for breakfast, they sent us to the back dinning area were there was a much smaller selection to choose from.
Mostly disappointing.
Attended the New Years Eve ball however, didn't stay on site.
One staff member at dinner went above and beyond for a special request - for my wife (thanks so much for helping pregnancy craving, it really was great and the 1st star is for you ), but for the majority the service was poor. Too many causal or perhaps inexperienced staff made the night seem like a run of the mill wedding guest rather than a fully paid event.
I happened to witness an alteracation which seemed to transpire behind bar, between staff and management. This, regardless of its valitity, was highly unprofessional.
A query upon leaving, if they offered parking validation (at venue entrance not main reception) was met with curt sneer of "everyone pays for parking". I had to ask another member of staff how we pay. The gentleman at reception was so helpful and polite. He earned the 2nd star.
I would not be put off doing another NYE ball, but wouldn't rush back here.
I gave it 5 stars cause they are people friendly and if you need anything they try tgere best to help you
Clean and tidy hotel. About a 20 minute walk from town and 5 minutes to the Stadium, ideally situated for whatever you want to do in Dublin.
Great place always activity going on here not far from city centre bus across the road get you there in like 5 min
Check in,with great ease, lovely receptionists called Olga was so helpful..
Great atmosphere for rugby weekends. Definitely need to invest in a larger TV in the lobby when the rugby is on. A tiny 32" TV on the wall for such a large crowd is a let down
Lovely room great hotel food is lovely. Do not park under the trees! There are signs warning of bird droppings but they are more like a full swarm of pterodactyl!
Although it does not have the best location ... it has the metro service a few steps away ... 5-star rooms and equipped for people with motor accessibility difficulties ... add points!
Refugee hotel, refugees were very loud all night in the next room and knocked out room door several times. Complained but got no apologies
Beautiful hotel, lovely place to stay for a weekend or a wedding location. Not ideal for young kids but they are welcome. Would recommend this place.
Expensive big and old hotel, there are B&Bs in the area which in my opinion are way nicer - wouldn't stay here again
Great Location for Landsdown Road and short walk into Grafton Street. The hotel is very large with rooms to match. Bar prices are reasonable and I have found the staff helpful and friendly. The airport shuttle also drops off outside which makes it much easier getting to and from the airport. Recommended if you don't mind a 15-20 min walk to town. Some great bars around the hotel and give Paddy Cullen's a go.
Waiters terrible.all over the place.full stop 1 star.depressing.
Large hotel, clean and tidy. Good breakfast and room service.
Not bad, sufficiently well connected by three bus lines 4 7 7a. Italian coffee forget it.
Lovely place to stay. Staff very professional and friendly. Rooms spacious and well equipped - although had to look for the kettle which was in a drawer! Walking distance to the centre. Bar food very good.
The room was spacious and we slept soundly until being awoken at 1AM by a fire alarm building-wide. After it stopped there was neither an announcement telling us to evacuate nor an announcement telling us it was a false alarm.
The staff was very friendly which made up for the issues with heat the first night (they provided a plug in heater). It is a quick 10 min ride into the heart of Dublin. Estimate 10 Euros each way. You can take several public buses at 2.70 each way per person.
Good facility downtoen. Close to key amenities AVIVA Stadium and RDS
I enjoyed my stay while it lasted, more could be done in regards to house cleaning services rendered.
I went for a meeting and for lunch break I had some food there, I must say that it surprised me, I had some fish & vegetables and I only paid for it 11,00, unbelievable in a place where an American coffee costs 3,70.
I recommend it.
Nice hotel. Bedroom was lovely and spacious. Breakfast was lovely.
Very pleasant and staff very attentive , highly recommend
Reception could do with customers relations course, badly
One of the most important hotel in Dublin, a point of reference for Google events. Kind service and good breakfast
Helpful staff, nice clean rooms ... only thing poor breakfast.
Slightly above average hotel. Fine for a night or two. The walls were slightly grubby in the room and the WiFi didn't really work well. The pillows were also a bit too firm for my liking.
However the staff were really friendly and the bed was very large.
Very dated and unmodern rooms for a 4 star hotel. No refrigerator in the room, no spa or fitness center. I would not recommend this place, except the staff was very nice!
Lovely hotel....nice staff & atmosphere ....good food...beds woohoo comfy ....so all good..
Located in a nice area close to Aviva stadium. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Did not try the local pub / restaurant as there are plenty of options within 10 / 15 mins walking radius. The only negative bit is the general condition of the facility, which is clearly in need of some renovation (particularly the bathroom)
Clean hotel, hearty breakfast. But I didn't understand the 4 stars
The staff are friendly. If you booked your stay online, check-in and check-out are quick with minimum questions. Secure entrance for hotel guests. Airport coach stops right in front of hotel.
A hotel that has had its glory years behind. Clean rooms, friendly service that speaks at least a large part of the Polish language.
Ample Parking & Courteous Staff. Premises also very clean and tidy.
Cosy, very good location un Dublin 4, walking distance to the city centre, pittyBallsbridge hotel will be demolished any time soon !
Nice facility. Noisy guests and staff doesn't appear to care.
Strategic location, served by public transport. Decent room but the TV despite repeated complaints and interventions never worked. Little funny fake fire alarm that got everyone out on the street.
Great location, but unfortunately the building works next to the hotel were relentless and began very early in the morning, generally fine for a short business trip but would recommend waiting until after the neighbouring building works are completed.
Nice bar. Check in was smooth and efficient.
Meeting rooms were very nice and staff really friendly and professional.
Although the bedroom was very spacious. It was musty and smelled a little damp.
The hotel has a continental feel. A quick strole about the foyer will reward your ear with many different languages.. the front of desk staff are professional and helpful.. I only had time for breakfast, the dining arrangement is roomy and selection well cooked and of a variety to suit most.
Had Christmas Day Dinner here with my Husband and 2 of my Daughters, the Meal was lovely, so were the Staff and the wine served with the Meal was good too. The Evening Finger Food was very tasty, only complaint, Bar prices were ridiculous.
Good quality hotel, great size rooms and quite reasonable too.
Breakfast was good with many options and the staff was friendly and helpful
Room and staff very good good but let down by sausages and scrambled eggs. Not edible.
Nice clean rooms, great breakfast buffet, good value for money. Will recommend to friends.
Clean and correct services and room, comfortable bed. It is not a great hotel but it is recommended.
Hotel 10 minutes by bus from Trinity College, great rooms and excellent breakfast in full Irish style. Also one of the few in the center with parking. A great choice.
