It's okay as far as casino's go in reno. Good place to go for reasonable priced dinner.
It's okay as far as casino's go in reno. Good place to go for reasonable priced dinner.
Had a great time out with 2 ladies and got real lucky left with a couple hundred in winnings and 2 beautiful ladies. What a night!!! Thanks
Just another casino, hard hat promotion was good but to short lived.
Fast, Good, Cheap. You can take your pick. But you can only pick two.
Baldini's is the only place I play at, Great bonuses, Free play is generously and efficiently posted always on time and their working staff members are always polite and friendly.
I understand this covid bs Baldinis is one Casino that takes initiative to keep there place pretty well clean unlike one of the other local places in town they make sure you have your mask on as required by the state. They dont show the pick and choose stand that one place in particular shows. All and all they try there best to stay ontop of cleaning and wiping down there machine. I will return there rather then most the other local casino. Dont go downtown give Baldini's a try.
My husband and I we gamble at this Casino, and on the weekends we bring our family to eat at the Empire Diner for years and today wasn t the exeption my 3 kids, husband and I, we all went today to the empire diner. We both got a players club card. The first time my husband got his players card was with his Mexican Consular ID, and I got mine with my Nevada ID. Today my husband lost his card, we go to the players club desk to get a replacement players club, and he shows his Consular ID and the employee by the name of Missey told us in a really rude way this is NOT an drivers licence we can t accepted . I explain to her we been coming here for years, this is not the first time he losses his card and we have never had a problem with his ID(and is not a drivers lincense) I was on a unbelievable mode that I even ask her are you new here? She said no. So I ask for the Supervisor. He comes out and tells me that this is not Mexico. Oh! wow like if I didn t know that. I couldn t believe this was happening I had to ask are you the supervisor? He said no, I m the Manager, and I m the only one that runs this. His name tag said Erick. This is a casino, and for god sakes this is Reno where people from all over the places comes here, and not all have a state issued ID, but DO have a proper Identification. Maybe starting telling people before they lose their money what kind of ID they should have, because for the last several years we been gambling here and my husband has been having his consular he even got his players club in the first place. ( lack of training of those two Missey and Erick and racism I have no doubt about it) I will let my community know via social media, to be aware of this place. I do see lots of them gambling at this place and I m sure more than one has a Consular ID. That was issue legally in the country.
Although the casino floor is not very big, it has a great selection of games to choose from! The bartenders and waitresses are fast and friendly and for the most part I have better luck here then most of the other casinos I visit!
Good promotions for locals. Players club staff is very friendly. Slot staff needs improvement.
Good place for locals but promotions are ok. Takes a long time to earn points for players club. Burger baskets are a great deal!
One of my very favorite places to go and unwind. The staff is helpful and polite and its always a good time when I go.
Well if you are anxious to experience this towns rudest most unhappy down right lazy cocktail servers then hit this place up on a graveyard shift you could visit the place nightly dropping a couple Benjamin's each time and dropping a 5$ tip per drink and still you will get treated like crap for requesting a drink 2 hours into your gambling session.
Smallest desserts ever. Paid $5.00 each for two desserts. Both were smaller than a players club card. Thought it was a gag at first. Joke was on us... That was the size. (After this post I was contacted by the GM of the casino. He was very nice and informed me the product was not up to their standards, and he would be replacing them immediately. This was a great response and I respect the answer and appreciate the response. Very classy move on Balldinis part. I will be back.) Increased from one star to four stars Thanks
Clean but lack of employees when you have a question and when your machine has an issue the service man was a bit rude... good food deals
During the Jeep drawing, a lady KNEW she was going to win a key. Her name was called, she got up and received her key. Whenever she came back to the machine she was sitting at ( not playing), another person had sat down. She called security BY THEIR NAME, and had the guy kicked out!!!WTF?? IS Baldinis rigged??
Do NOT buy into Baldini's claim of "Free Hot August Nights T-Shirt" with EVERY $12.99 breakfast buffet purchased Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during Hot August Nights. Thursday morning 4 of us had the breakfast Buffet, "We are out of t-shirts, but will get more this afternoon". Friday out running around, went to Baldini's to pick our T-shirts, "We are out," so when will you get them in today? "We won't, we are totally out we only ordered 1500." Seriously? You only ordered 1500 T-Shirts to cover 5 days of "Buy a breakfast Buffet and get a FREE T-SHIRT?.....Next time people, skip the "Free T-Shirt Come On" and go to the Atlantis Breakfast Buffet where you get 50 times more choices....FYI...NO PLACE was it stated "While Supplies Last"..It clearly stated a Free T-Shirt with EVERY Breakfast Buffet purchased.....
Not a casino I would normally go to cause the environment to play in isn't comfortable enough to sit in for no more than a hour or so.
I take mom to the coffee shop two or three times a week. For a coffee shop it's great. There is always someone there to greet you at the door. The wait staff is well trained and attentive. The busboy usually has your drinks on the table a couple of minutes after your seated. Shortly after your waiter has taken your order and five minutes later your eating. I have eaten most things on the menu and the only thing I did not like was the hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict. Otherwise I have enjoyed every meal. FIVE STARS great staff and did I mention the prices may be the best in Reno.
great place to gamble the bartender Sharon is awesome
Best pay outs, fun atmosphere, great restaurants and I just love this place
Stay away from Baldini's until they get back in the flow. Card readers aren't working, employee's including managers are frustrated and not very responsive. Their opening day was the worst gambling experience I have ever had in Reno. I'm going to give them some time and try again . When they are on point it's at the top of my list of places to eat drink and gamble in Reno.
ABSOLUTELY had the best play time a fantastic steak dinner !!! We will go back !! MIKE AND.
ET
We went with a group of people for breakfast. Everyone ordered different items and they all complained about at least one thing. For myself, I ordered a Belgian waffle with fruit and whip cream. I must say this was the most underwhelming waffle I've had in a while. It was very soggy and pretty bland. The fruit was just canned syrupy strawberries that tasted old, acidic, and overall not pleasant. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of whip cream they added on. Others were complaining about their eggs, pancakes, fruit, etc so I know I wasn't the only one not liking my order. Service was good because they checked up on us frequently, but food wise I wouldn't choose this place. Prices are normal and not too bad, but you can definitely get better quality and more affordable options elsewhere. I would say I expected much better being that it is inside a casino.
For a small casino is not too bad, less smoke than others. Could use some tables.
Quick service, very reasonable prices, everything was cooked to our tastes. Great experience.
I wish they didn't get rid of the microbrew they had and the food, now it's just different , not my thing.
I had the most unpleasant time here today. My brother came down for a visit and we decided to come here to eat at the restaurant. Big mistake. First off, NOT A FAMILY place. Don't bring your kids here to eat unless you want to fight security for trying to grab your kids. This is the experience I had. I took the kids to sit down at the table while everyone else ordered their food. About 15 minutes later, this stupid, arrogant security guard walked up and grabbed the kids by their arm and told me they were not allowed in there. Mind you, I have been bringing in my little one every week when I cash my check, to eat and I have never been told this. So I snatched them back and nutted up on him. The kids never left my side, they weren't being obnoxious or anything like that. Just sitting with me and asking about the lights on the machines. So, after telling him what he did was wrong, I told him my phone was recording, he turned and backed off immediately. Overall it was just totally unacceptable. All he had to do was tell me that the kids couldn't be there and all would have been good. You don't put your hands on nobody. Kid or not. I will definitely not be coming back here. Nor will my family.
Baldini's has always been a very warm, welcoming, ACTIVE casino. The employee's are always beyond friendly, helpful, and most times damn fun to chat with for a few every now and then.
Now, if those slots they have would be as friendly as the employees arena, this lady would want for nothing.... Well another cpl ice cold Coronas, yep that'll do the trick...
My best for the Grand Re-opening. I hope everything goes your way.
Great food cheap prices pretty good gambling spot small
Brickyard Grill- grilled to order. Good food at a great price, and usually quick service! See photos
Occidental Taphouse. Great food and portions, but is a little on the spendy side.
Empire Dinner ( sit-down dinning) great value and good food. Service varies from good to okay.
Good experience but riff Raff is starting to seek warmth here now
Clean inside, decent food at great prices, staff is helpful and kind.
Great locals Sports Casino, great food and reasonably priced, lots of give a ways easy to earn points, that earn you "Free Play" and Entries into Great Giveaways ! THIS MONTH (April) they are giving away a Yamaha Side by Side ! AWESOME !!
, In May they are giving away a 33 ft "Party Pontoon"
LAST MONTH they gave away a
"Tiny House" 'lots of great Concerts
Fun place to be!
I really like this place. Has some older machines, has penny keno at bars, and newer machines available.
The food looks and tastes great. Great locals place.
The prices are very reasonable to eat here. Also nice sportsbook with good screens. Big board Keno is available here. Reminds me, I have a keno ticket to check.
great breakfast in town good portions excellent prices
The only reason I go here is the grill. They have cheap food it's not the best but for the price and the speed it is well worth it. The burgers can even be served with grilled onions.
I enjoy dining there as I play keno. Usually good specials..
Awesome hostess and waiter and waitress staff and or team. Good chefs
I came into town add my car over heated. I saw on an app I have that it was ok to park over night. So because I didn't have money for a room to stay in I parked between 2 recreation vehicles. Some old man not even in a security uniform told me I couldn't park there and had to leave... said I was loitering! The stuff inside were just as rude ... their air filtration system is hardly existent and stinks to high heaven in there . Bathrooms were dirty too.
Good atmosphere
Very kind people
Clint the bartender on grave always if fun to talk to and knows what I want when I walk in. He keeps me laughing when the clientele sometimes subpar.
The empire restaurant has always something good to eat. We try and get Tony, he awesome
If you want to eat a meal -- ok .. if you expect to win any money gambling -- forget it .
Your basic locals casino. Smoky, some cheap dining choices.
It was really chill. The grill food could be better I did not enjoy the food
The restaurant there overcharged me, don't eat there if you new in town, especially if you don't have exact bill.
Fun place to play , I win more often ,food is fantastic and resible
Love the service at the baldinis cafe. The people are so friendly i recommend it with no doubt...
After being treated rudely & kicked off the premises w/in 10 minutes of arriving by ignorant, misinformed, and mean Leon&Pion I've not gone back to Baldinis and don't believe I ever will. Plenty of other casinos in Reno that have nicer and better informed employees that I choose to spend my money and time there. No need to subject myself to anymore abuse from Leon & Pion @ Baldinis!
Food is always good and the prices are very reasonable. We always have great service too. One of our favorite places to eat breakfast.
Been coming to the restaurants since I was a kid with my parents. Food is good, nothing extraordinary but never had anything bad!
Place is clean, food is fantastic and affordable. 2 can grab a meal for $10.99
Good food sometimes customer service in the restaurant could be better at times
One if the smaller casinos in Reno. Nothing to write home about. The food options are on par for casinos, and the crowds here are your typical casino fair.
We spent the night in our motorhome in their packing lot. Nice and quiet. You need a permit for one night. It is free when you get 500 points on your players card. You must have one or they will ask you to leave about 10pm. Very pleasant people and great prime rib for $13.99, 11oz.
