My new to go place in my neighborhood! Food is great! Everything is fresh!! I like to go during the week when it's a little more quiet. Saturday's can be a little hectic but it's definitely worth it!
Line was out the door when we got there! The bread looked so good and definitely fresh. We didn't order any bread so I can't comment on that but they must be doing something right.
The bake goods are good in general. I just wish they would put a bit more chocolate in their croissants. It s kinda ridiculous.
Amazing pastries, especially their donuts and apple fritters. They also make surprisingly good chicken salad! Also, it s really well decorated. This is a great place.
We got the tuna melt and the veggies Chile when we were here. We were looking for something that left us satisfied but not stuffed and their menu fits that need pretty well. They specialize in their breads, which I am sure you will notice as soon as you walk in. It was clean, not over done in decorations, and had a cozy feel. I really liked it :)
Staff is very pleasant. Very professional and the food is really good! Highly recommend.
Great steamer egg sandwiches. Great selection of freshly baked goods that are consumed in restaurants all over Philly. All made in my neighborhood. The friendliest staff you'll ever meet.
I recently got a tuna salad sandwich... was ok. Nothing special on the tuna and the bread was quite chewy... I will give them another shot but given all other reviews I was disappointed.
A little cold sitting outside but overall a nice experience. Food and drink were great.
They have some great baked goods - the Snowflake White and apple fritter are highlights - but the service is consistently bad. There is zero sense of urgency to get anything out of the kitchen. I ve called ahead for a toasted bagel and still had to wait 15 minutes in the store to receive it. Another time I ordered a dozen bagels but told they are not a bagel shop and was asked why I needed so many. They ended up selling them to me, but only after admonishing me that doing so meant fewer bagels for other customers. What???
