Many many unique seeds to choose from. They grow here every year. I love that they will replace faulty seeds or add more to a pack for low germination. Many nice people that work there!

Planted some of my first set of seeds indoors and they germinated right away! I love that you guys have free shipping! At other seed places you need a really large order to get free shipping which can be hard for a smaller gardener. Hopefully they decide to keep offering free shipping for years to come! Love the selection and variety on your website. I look at it constantly! Your seed catalog was also one of the easier ones to navigate and most beautiful. Great place to get inspiration! Will deffinetly be ordering from you again!

The food was delicious but the terrain is a little challenging for someone using a Walker because of the gravel and slight hills to traverse to the different buildings.

Wonderful place, being an avid gardener, this place was very interesting.

Stopped in for our annual seed purchases. Mom was baking fresh bread, scored a warm loaf of sourdough rye and a cinnamon roll. Heaven!! Highly recommend visiting on a non festival day (although the festivals are great fun). We had an opportunity to chat with staff and eat in the restaurant. Fabulous!

spring planting festival was a blast. i had no idea there was a pioneers village there! anywho, these people truly care!!

Bought from this company for a time and was satisfied with the results till this year, they offered me their 2 yr replacement for the loss I had, what about the time and effort ? Oh well !

I placed an order for 5 different packets of seed, mailed in, and received a refund for 4 packets. Said they were out of the 4. I think being out of 4 out of 5 pkts is not very good business. I was very disappointed. My first time ordering, and it was not a good experience. I was so anxious to have them.

This year's festival was our first! We do hope to return next year. Plenty to see and buy! Seeds were on sale! Nice visit.

I really enjoyed visiting Baker Creek Seeds in March. Food at the restaurant was great! There was the sweetest lady in the seed store who was very helpful. My seeds have been planted and are all doing great!

Ive used this company for years. Nice choices. I deducted one star because there are fewer seeds per packets for the price. I ordered yellow squash and only got 8 seeds. Other packets were only slightly better.

I got about 50 types of tomatoes from here! They all produced, awesome plants and just a wonderful resource! We're so lucky to have them out here! We stop here now and then to visit the donation only vegan restaurant. They have some of the best chefs in the county here! Awesome gardens, nice and friendly staff!

If you like gardening or old-school pioneer style places, this place is awesome. It's a little far out in the middle of nowhere but not much isn't when you get outside of Springfield. They have all the seeds you can imagine and a ton of stuff to see. If you go on the first Sunday of the month thru October, they have a big festival and auction that's worth checking out. I'd definitely recommend.

We visited in early March, and were among the only people there. Even so, this place is very beautiful both naturally and from an historical standpoint. The village is surrounded by rolling hills and fields; I can only imagine how beautiful they are during the summer and fall months. The village contains an heirloom seed store, A bakery/mill that sells baked goods, and an apothecary. We also visited the restaurant, where the food was completely outstanding, with fare that you can t find around here or even nearby Springfield. The restaurant is donation only, which means that guests are asked to donate whatever they feel is fair. We donated $20 each. Even the drive from Springfield was pleasant, which really surprised me. This place isn t wheelchair friendly, as the paths are gravel and quite hilly. A stroller could be used, but it s not easy. I can t wait to return in warmer weather!

Even as a new self taught gardener the quality of the product here was something never in question. Five years later and a plot that keeps getting bigger, the seeds are always exactly as marketed. Thanks baker creek and God bless

Baker Creek normally has the best selection of seeds of any company.
Due to the virus, this year has been a challenge obtaining seeds due to unbelievable demand. Not only is the quality of the seed excellent, but Baker provides .free shipping. They do not try to make a profit by overcharging for shipping. This is the only internet seed company that I use and have used it for many years. I highly recommend it for serious gardeners and beginning gardeners alike. Quality and variety of seeds can not be matched anywhere.

I've always ordered from here. If they're delayed at all they are very transparent about it. If there's ever an issue with an order they will 100% fix it.. they work hard to keep customers happy and I truly appreciate it!!

I went to the may festival the first weekend of may. This place blew my mind. I was not expecting all of that. Great people. The best seeds on the planet. So much variety. I will never miss another festival again

No germination from their Carolina Reapers in a controlled environment. Seeds were DOA. (edit). They did give me a full refund or offered to send a replacement.

Sorry,and very disappointed. I requested a catalog last fall and they acknowledged and said they'd send one. As of February 1st I haven't received one or an explination .Im sure they take care of old customers but don't care about me . I dont feel i need to place a second request ,if they can't get it right the first time I'd hate to trust them with money .

I ordered seeds in early April, and didn't receive anything for three weeks. When I inquired via email, I was told me order was lost in the mail, and they would resend that day. A week later, still nothing.

I won't support this company any longer. Do better Baker creek.

Amazing company. I always order my seeds from them. They have high germination rates and are very knowledgeable with extremely friendly customer service. I just placed my big yearly order last night and sure enough my favorite seeds, the Tall mixed Cockscomb, came back in stock and I received an alert email notifying me so. I sent them an email asking if I could just add that to my order b/c it had not shipped yet. I received a reply about 15 minutes later clearly explaining why they couldn't add it to my previous order but would defray the cost of of shipping if I ordered the packet I wanted in a new order. Amazing! A company the responds with great customer service? Doesn't happen very oftern. Perfect way to handle this situation. Customer for life.

They have a beautiful catalog and nice selection but I placed an order 35 days ago and just received an email that items are out of stock. What? 35 days to find that out? The planting season is almost here! Disappointed. I think they got too big, too fast and can't provide the service that they used to.

Have ordered from them several times and the germination of seeds is crazy high which tells me they are good quality. Service is fast. Have been very pleased and their catalog is PURE mouth watering Garden Porn!! (In a good way!)

I love a particular French spinach called Monstreux de Vilofay. Grown from seeds purchased on a trip to France, I thought never to find again. In a small organic nursery in Hurricane, Utah I found a packet of Baker's seeds for my favorite spinach and now we grow it every year on our organic farm in Eden, Utah: Sandhill Fatm

Went to the Baker Creek Heritage festival. Bought some heirloom seeds and some crafts. There was so much fun things to see. I can't wait to go back to the next festival in May. Will have to buy some bread next time, it smelled delicious! I can't wait to plant the seeds we bought.

I will never buy seeds from here again, I bought over 80.00 worth of seed packets.and when I say seed packets I mean just seed packets. We had several packets that only had 4 to 8 seeds in each pack. It's a complete RIP off. We've bought our seeds from here 4 years in a row, we have a very large garden and the first year we bought from this place was decent enough but the value of the seeds have went down hill fast. And now that I bought packets from them that barely had seeds in them at all, I will not buy from here again. Their festivals are fun but it's the same all the time, nothing new.

If you're in the Mansfield, MO area, you NEED to stop by this place. Great laid-back country atmosphere with luscious gardens and patios in the middle of the historic village. Make sure you arrive during the lunch hours. The donation-based restaurant is a real delight. The vegan food is extremely fresh and delicious. Of the three times I've been there this summer, the dishes have all been on an Asian theme and they were all simply scrumptious. Large seed store as well to buy all your veggies and flowers with many varieties from around the world! There is also a bakery and apothecary. Good place to take the whole family and experience this hidden gem in Southwest Missouri.

I placed two orders in one day this season. One was for peppers and one for basil. Dec 10th I just got one envalope with basil NO Aji peppers. I sent emails I said I received basil not peppers in that envelope. Well they said I received my peppers on the 10th and are still processing the basil. Well I received BASIL but no peppers. I was told to yes they sent the peppers and to contact the post office . Well no further contact and I'm out 10 bucks. That was the oddest customer service I ever received.

I love this place and everything they stand for. They have awesome seeds and are wholesome people. This is how business should be run. They are very transparent about their whole process. I love their seed collection and how the shipping is free. I would rather spend more money on seeds here than most other places.

Really neat place tucked away in the Ozarks. Best time to go is during the monthly festivals. We went to today to purchase seeds for our garden and left with a great selection. We tried three dishes at the restaurant and the Pad Thai was by far the best. Even though the restaurant is donation based our waiter was very good. It is a unique place and I enjoy it.

It is 2016 and I am planting Little Marvel Pea seeds packaged for 2012.
I am over half way through the pack and every seed has germinated.
I will be buying more from Baker Creek Heirloom!
