The worst dealer in this market! Why? 1.The highest prices and on top of it they charge shipping, others don't, they have charged us $5.50 for 20 Red Okra seeds + shipping!!! I paid on ebay same seeds $1.50 for 25 seeds free shipping they charge more than 4 times!! ( compare it on eBay). 2.They do not specify % of germination, others do! 3.They do not specify any batch testing ! 4. Poor instructions and description but they do use words as: Lovely, colorful,Beautiful, Delicious,Unique and so forth. One star should be given for the pictures on the seed's bags and the stunning site to attract buyers. I buy only from other suppliers, cheaper and faster. unfortunately my wife bought it here without my knowledge and she will never buy from them again.

We recently moved here from Wisconsin. Our friends that convinced us to make the move, suggested a visit here. We are in love with this place! It has nostalgic appeal with period structures & vendors. The free entertainment was SUPERB! We are on an extreme budget limit, but feel the visit was equal to anything we could have done with a hundred dollars or more at some more commercial places to visit.

My few orders have been perfect and timely. This week I recieved a letter with two seed packets in it because my last order didn't contain the usual free seed pack. This really spoke to their customer service for me. I can't believe they made a point to send me something that was already free, plus some for the "inconvenience". I see myself being a customer for a long time.

My wife and I decided to try Baker Creek Seeds based on a review by Living Tradition Homestead. We are so glad we did. We made two separate orders this spring. Shipping was very fast. The seeds are awesome. Almost every seed germinated. To have such a huge catalog it is very well organized and easy to follow. We will be buying exclusively from Baker Creek in the future.

This source of seeds doesn t account for regional differences. Two years of great tomato gardens left me over confident. I used all baker seeds last year and went from canning 300 jars to maybe 50. Find seeds that work for your area not from these guys. They rave about their green tomatoes for example never harvested one.

I love this place. We try to stop in when we drive through from Texas to Canada. I bought the best tasting home prepared grape jelly there a few years back and bought some again on our last trip. So delicious. They have a donation for their all vegan cafe. They accomadated my allergies. The food was delicious.

If you're looking to find unusual and interesting seeds for your garden, look no further. I love this company. Everything I've ordered has had a germination rate of 80 percent or better, and they are very responsive to any problems or order issues. Plus, you can find seeds and live plants of unusual varieties of so many species for an excellent price. Free shipping in the us and they send out a free seed pack (or multiple for big orders) with every order.

Picked up a fairly wide variety of seeds for spring and summer gardening. Everything planted so far - spring stuff outside and summer as indoor seedlings - has germinated well and is growing vigorously. One month in I have begun harvesting greens and radishes. With luck, things keep booming along. Only thing that was a bust was only one ground cherry seed in the pack germinated, but I have heard that they have a very low germination rate (and there was a mystery tomato in there too - it germinated, lol). I'm going to grow it as a lark. Who knows what it is? Anyway, overall very good - big healthy plants and quick shipment. Keep it up. I'll be back.

Great company. I've been ordering seed from them for several years, and have always had good luck. I finally had a chance to visit their village out in the country last week. It was a great experience. The donation based restaurant had really amazing food, and a lot of the vegetables used are grown right there. The multitude of gardens, livestock, and little shops all over the property are definitely worth your time, as is the main seed store with its massive selection of seed.

Their festivals are so worth it. They have such inspirational speakers, and I learned so much. My sister and I had a blast when we went, and can't wait to do it again. We planted the heirloom seeds we bought at this year's planting festival, and our garden has never been so prolific and healthy! If you need to invest time in your health guys, this is the place to start.

Fantastic experience with Baker Creek. High germination rate in all varieties I've started so far. 5 types of peppers, 2 types of tomatoes, and eggplant. I got to start all these the earliest, but if my germination rates are even half of what they are so far, I'll be very very very happy!!!! Good selection of heirlooms. Not the cheapest place for rare seeds, but so far good quality!!!! :-)

Heirloom seeds from around the world! I love these wonderful varieties from a grower that I can trust to sell the best quality seeds. The village is well worth a trip. Children especially love it as they can see the farm animals. Come hungry, lunch is a special treat.

All great things to say about this place. I was able to speak to Mr. Gettle the owner, it was late in the evening when we were passing through. He was a real genuine person that cared, and was a pleasure to speak with him. I have been buying seeds from Baker Creek for a couple of years now, and have not recieved a bad one yet, and the best thing about it is that they are all heirloom seeds. NO GMO's at Baker Creek. I truly Look forward to spending a couple days at the planting festival here in May.

I bought tomato and watermelon seeds from Baker Creek this year and bought grown plants from a big name store because I started my seeds a little late. Even though the pre grown plants were bigger and transplanted earlier than what I grew from baker creek seeds the Baker Creek plants are nearly twice aa big now and much healthier looking. I also have got nearly double the harvest from them.

So happy to have found this place! I ordered seeds in the spring and was so impressed with how they did, that I put in a second order midsummer thanks to their suggestions for summer plantings. The free shipping is a great incentive to buy more seeds. They offer such a great selection of unusual varieties. I even bought their amazing catalog on sale. My garden has never looked so good. Thanks!

I've bought seed from them for several years now, and I've been delighted with the selection, quality, and customer service I've received at Baker Creek. I love that all their seed is heirloom and GMO-free, and I'll definitely be buying from them in the future.

I have bought from them many times, always the best service and super fast responses, they go above and beyond, I recently had the sad experience of my order being stolen from my mailbox, after asking when I realized it should have been delivered what to do next, within 30 minutes I got a response asking me to check with the post office and let them know what happened, of course it was stolen and I let them know and thanked them for their time, they responded by refunding my money for that order, stating I shouldn't have to pay for something I didn't receive, even though it was no way their fault. So within less than an hour of our first correspondence I had a complete refund in my account and a new order being processed, you can't go wrong buying from this wonderful company!

My family and I ordered seeds and a few plants. We received the seeds and planted them according to the directions on the packaging. We only had luck with about half of our packages. I contacted them and asked if they would replace the seeds that did not grow. I received an email stating that the seeds would be shipped out asap, no questions asked. I am impressed and happy because we are really looking forward to having an amazing garden full of wonderful heirloom seeds! A+ customer service!

This is a very unique place to visit. It is fantastic if you are a gardener or potential Gardener and want to get seed and advice. Even if not there are lots of things to do and see there. There are some festivals through the year that are a lot of fun and also informative.

The only seed that I was looking forward to get from here was winged beans that I ordered but what I received was red pepper instead, even though I was charged for winged beans. disappointed and dissatisfied. They have contacted me promptly and refunded since seeds were not available, I truly wish they notified me prior to replacing. I am satisfied with the other order and so I am changing the rating accordingly

Awesome place for plants ,Seeds, Brick a Brack old time Bonnets and Dresses. Great Blue grass and Old Country Music. Great home cooked food. Everything made by the folks in the Mansfield Area. 3 Days of great everything. Animals for sale as well. Baby Chicks and Lambs Calves. Old time Aprons made by all the area folks. Homeade Jams syrups Raw Honey . Camping spots for those who want to stay the entire three Days. It was iften. I suggest going early if its for a day or you'll sit in traffic for gours tring to get to the entrance We were an eighth of a mile from tje entrance and it took well over an hour and a galf to get to the entrance for parking. As I Said awesome but you want to leave early in the morning. So that your at the entrance and can park without being stuck in your vehicle for an hour or way longer. It was a blast . Akso be prepared to do a great deal of walking thets tons to see. You cant see everything in one afternoon , it takes the entire 3 days to see it all and I'm not sure you can see it all in 3 days there is just so much. I give them five Stars it is an awesome experience.

Good experience with their seeds! High germination rate, good plants. I also like their "self-sustaining" mentality. What I don't like is the restrictions they've imposed on their employees since SARS-Cov-19 (which the owners themselves don't abide by). Hard on health, hard to follow, with threat of legal action if ignored.
