This place is amazing. This coming year is going to be my 3rd year staying there. My family and I love it so much! It is very private and security is very good with making sure that only people who are staying at the hotels are in the hotels. They have an island where a boat can take to for free for the day. As for the rooms, they make sure to keep them nice and clean for us at arrival and during our stay. The beaches are beautiful and you can go paddle boarding and kayaking for free. My one thing is to be careful with the room service, my brother and his friend did get sick from eating something that the room service gave us, but me and my friend, however did not.

Baita structure of the hotel, with casino, nice stores Mac, Perfumes, other cool brands. The beach that is accessed by the condominium is unforgettable. White sand and extremely blue sea.
Excellent hotel. Great beaches, restaurants and shopping. Casino for adults and free non-powered water activities at the beach (kayaks, paddle boards, etc).
Beautiful, modern hotels and restaurants. Staff is friendly and I did not have a bad meal. View was amazing when the sun hit just right. A bit pricey, but I think that's expected on an island.
A pretty mediocre hotel. Has all the basics and decent sized rooms. Certainly does not deserve the luxury hotel title as I have stayed in 3 stars nicer. Best part is the beach am worse part is the price of food and drinks - extremely over priced.
5 of the most relaxing days I've had all year. Awesome experience hotel accommodations were beautiful the grounds and decor were immaculate local band "Essence" were a great addition "Dale" made the BEST DRINKS, food was tasty but for the price 49.00 for 2 poolside burgers was a bit much food was nothing spectacular I wish there were a local dinner spot on the premises (ordidImissit) casino slots and tables were dry main BUT I would go back any day of the week and bring friends
Baha Mar is a whole complex consisting of 3 hotels, the Rosewood, Grand Hyatt and the SLS. I stayed at the SLS and was very pleased with cleanliness and staff. I wandered off to the Hyatt side to the pools and food trucks. And I am glad I stayed at the SLS. Pool side staff is a hit and miss. I ended up greeting the staff always first, and some never responded to me. Very odd to me, working as a hospitality manager. You can get your pool towels in several huts spread out the complex and they have lemon water and sunscreen dispensers. I loved those! Beach is first come first serve and they put the umbrellas in wherever you like them. At the end of my vacation several people found out that money talks and the staff created another row in front of everybody to block our view. So you can come later and pay the staff, no need to be the early bird like me. I got screwed over several times. There is a boat shuttle service to an island away from the crowd, I thought, until they shipped hundreds of people from cruise ships over. It was a mess. The island has bars there but towels you would have to bring over. Avoid that island on the weekend or when lots of cruise ships are in town. Last but not least. Be prepared to spend big amounts at the resort. On everything already expensive food or drinks comes tax and a VAT charge. My trick was to get food from the food trucks by the beach. There are tacos, sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, poke and many more for selection. There is lots more to say about this resort but I hope this helps
The hotel was awful with their customer service. It took 3 hours to check in because the front desk assistant claimed the room was being cleaned. Then it took 1.5 hrs for the bellhop to deliver the luggage. An entire day was lost to poor service. No one has apologized or offered to make things right. The worst thing is that after waiting 3 hours for the room to be cleaned the bed was dirty and had finger nails and hair in the bed. No one who works here knows the location of on site restaurants. The staff is incompetent. A staff member who was shadowing said that he didn t know where anything was located and then when we tried to tell him where a restaurant was located he didn t care to learn. The entire day shift crew needs to be replaced because they lack respect and courtesy. They do not care if guest are treated respectfully. They do not deliver the service that you pay for. At the bare minimum you expect a clean hotel room with fresh sheets. Staff members admitted the room had probably not be cleaned or inspected. We were expected to pay a resort access fee when we could not access the pool or beach because we couldn t change clothes and didn t have or luggage that was stored. I have stayed at the Bahamas before and I didn t receive this poor of service at the Atlantis. Unless significant changes are made, I would never stay here in the future and I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family. The night crew staff are the only redeeming quality of this hotel. If I could rate it below 1 Star I would.
Visited the property for an afternoon. The public areas are very beautiful. Ate at one of the restaurants, but, while the food was good, the service was a lacking. Group of seven who ordered nothing but standard menu items -the food took an exceedingly long time to prepare and when each plate was prepared it was served. Over 30 minutes passed between when the first person in our party received their food to when the last received their food.
The resort was beautiful but very pricey. Front desk clerk was very unprofessional at check in and check out. More training is needed to teach staff how to deal with guests.
Really enjoyed our time at Baha Mar. The beach is stunning. Very kind staff. Would have liked to have the options to try more bahamian food and the restaurants and drinks are VERY expensive which is why I not giving it 5 stars. Location is great and it is very easy to catch the bus for a day trip to Nassau. The pool with the aquarium was so much fun and an awesome experience.
Great staff! Awesome room with spectacular views! Very clean resort full of amenities! Special shout out to Navarro at front desk! And, Captain Rudy, private transportation driver!
WOW !! There's not much more to say !! We spent four great days and have nothing but OUTSTANDING things to say. From Vaughn and the Front door men to Rachel in house keeping I thank all of you for wonderful experience.
Overpriced, charged my credit card over 1300.00 because someone gave my room number. Took over a month to resolve. Had to cancel my credit card. We had two pieces of missing jewel from our room. No resolve. The place is beautiful and staff is friendly.
This is a new hotel which is very beautifully appointed but the service often left something to be desired. The concierge staff was not helpful considering the prices charged per night. More training is required.
Highly recommend if visiting Nassau. The only complaint would be the smell of smoke from the casino that fulls the hotel lobby. You have to walk through it every day. The gym is very nice as well as the pools and private beach. I did not eat anything I did not like.
The hotel is beautiful. The room are great too, very original. The people are nice. We wish it would've been an all inclusive hotel so we don't have to think about spending money. The sky bar rooftop looks great day but it is missing musical diversity. It just opened when we went so maybe they are more open minded since.
Great place. Don t listen to the people complaining about price and service. Is it cheap? No. It is what you should expect for a resort like this. Yes. Everyone on the staff we encountered was pleasant and here to please
Individual staff members extremely helpful but guest services and operator unreachable on phone and personal contact with desk twice about issue not resolved.
Cable Beach in Nassau is gorgeous, and Baha Mar is right on the beach. Great for extended family event like a wedding, with plenty to do for all ages. Rooms crisply attractive. Hotel restaurant options much better than expected. Poolside food and bar service agonizingly slow. Staff welcoming. Resort has all expected entertainment like casino, nightclub, bars. Resort designed for people flow, so you don't feel overwhelmed even at 95 percent occupancy, although restaurant reservations need to be made ahead during busy season. Would be 5 star if they could upgrade poolside food and bar service to be a bit more prompt. Highly recommend.
Excellent Golf Course, beautiful setting, very nice Beach where the service is excellent, plenty beach activities, Hotel food is disappointing service is very slow, one waitress at the golf course restaurant served and bused about 10 Tables by herself to the detriment of all customers, unfortunately the customer comes away with the feeling that Baha Mar seeks to shake every penny out of your pockets
The restaurants and facilities are incredible. The room service isn't that great and for the price you pay to stay here it should be better. For that I took off the one star.
Negative: Bahamas is expensive and the hotel even more so! French fries $ 6, burgers $ 17, pizza $ 20 ..... Casino limits extremely high (Ultimate Poker minimum $ 20) 50 $ service fee per day will be charged extra because you use towels, so be careful of extra costs! Umbrellas on the beach are not set up and do not stick in the sand.
Positive: Very clean hotel Very nice pools Casino and betting shop are great in size and appearance, but unfortunately the limits are too high (no comparison to the casinos here or in Vegas).
They take full advantage of tourist. A lot of hidden fees on drinks. Credit card only for all transactions. For example one drink is $17. Plus they add a %18 tip and a $2 service charge. Each $17 drink was $23.
Yes yes yes this place is amazing the room was super cool. If you are staying in your room though you are missing out. The pools are all amazing and this is the first vacation with free WiFi everywhere. I'm a realtor so I need to keep up with my clients. I had no problem anywhere at the resort.
It was a great resort! It has everything you re looking for; a nice beach, water, activities, etc. the only downside is the resort is a little expensive especially for food and beverage. However, the food is great and well worth the price.
Beautiful casino but winnings are not as generous as the atlantis casino on paradise island. One other thing that we did not like is, the cashiers do not change Bahamian money to U.S. money. My husband had to find a store in the casino to change it. Really tacky. Atlantis changes the currency at the cashier's cage.
I have gambled all over the world and this casino rates up with the best. I was surprised to find that after a curtain time there is nowhere to sit down and order food!!! Everywhere I have been with a casino you can get a steak and lobster at 5:00 am. I hope they allocate at least one restaurant 24/7 with B/L/Dinner all day and night......
