Baha Mar is a whole complex consisting of 3 hotels, the Rosewood, Grand Hyatt and the SLS. I stayed at the SLS and was very pleased with cleanliness and staff.
I wandered off to the Hyatt side to the pools and food trucks. And I am glad I stayed at the SLS. Pool side staff is a hit and miss. I ended up greeting the staff always first, and some never responded to me. Very odd to me, working as a hospitality manager.
You can get your pool towels in several huts spread out the complex and they have lemon water and sunscreen dispensers. I loved those!
Beach is first come first serve and they put the umbrellas in wherever you like them. At the end of my vacation several people found out that money talks and the staff created another row in front of everybody to block our view. So you can come later and pay the staff, no need to be the early bird like me. I got screwed over several times.
There is a boat shuttle service to an island away from the crowd, I thought, until they shipped hundreds of people from cruise ships over. It was a mess. The island has bars there but towels you would have to bring over. Avoid that island on the weekend or when lots of cruise ships are in town.
Last but not least. Be prepared to spend big amounts at the resort. On everything already expensive food or drinks comes tax and a VAT charge. My trick was to get food from the food trucks by the beach. There are tacos, sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, poke and many more for selection.
There is lots more to say about this resort but I hope this helps
