I know nothing about their religion or service im rating it soley on architecture and landscaping. If your in the area it's worth stopping by.

This temple is absolutely magnificent, inviting to people of all faiths and with an undeniable positive energy. The arquitecture is a marvel to be seen and the gardens surrounding it in full bloom perfection this spring !

Future of human unity is summed up in this building. All religions are welcomed here.

Only for worshipers! a place where prayer unites all religions and all beliefs without religious or ethnic discrimination! Only the Glory of God is presented in this place! Blessings !

The temple itself impressed me by its simplicity and complexity at the same time. The scenic landscape with numerous water fountains framing the building honorable.

A modern visitor centre nearby explains everything very well.

A wonderful place to visit to enjoy the arts and peace of mind. Very quiet inside for ease of worshipping. The building is so beautiful both inside and outside. There is no fee to visit. Outside lawn and waterfountains are well maintained.

An amazing place, the landscape is amazing, the feeling - there was a master, a very talented master and architect, nice details, an approach, it is felt that you were thinking about proportions, steps and their number, especially which are sunrises and sunsets, you can t convey this, you need to feel it! in different places, but this place is special. I want to touch every detail of the facade, very impressive. I hope many will agree with me You can come here with your family, even alone, you will not leave the feeling that you are not alone, the feeling of the Creator of the Universe, its genius !!!

Amazing place to visit. It's a bit of a journey. You take the CTA red to Howard, then the purple line to Linden. It's a peaceful and quiet place beside lake Michigan, away from the crowds and noise of the city. The architecture is amazing and the quiet prayer room is for everyone to calm down and enjoy.

An incredible building , the architecture is just stunning. If you have friends visiting from abroad , definitely take them here, it s a really unique landmark!

This is one of my favorites places in Chicago. It's peaceful and you can enjoy the whole environment. I love spending time in here, close to the lake, amazing vibes, impressive architecture and such a nice history.

This temple is the best place if you are looking for some peace in your busy life. It's close to lake Michigan so you can visit the lakefront too.

I did not get in but the outside looks great! It's a great building.

The Bahai Temple is the center of the Bahai religion in the United States, one of the most beautiful temples of Baha'ism in the world.

Really wish the visitors center and book store open longer would have been nice.

Went inside long ago, but I drive by it nearly everyday and I am still overwhelmed by its beauty. Doesn t matter the season, the Baha i Temple always shines.

The exterior of the building and its gardens are amazing, so it s hard for the interior match.

Make a day trip of it and visit Gilson Park before or after for a picnic.

Parking can get tricky on summer weekends.

On our visit to Chicago, this was quite possibly the most noteworthy part of the trip because of the stark contrast of how peaceful the temple and gardens are compared to the bustle of the city. Appreciate the architecture and detail that went into the temple. Take off your shoes to stroll through the gardens. It's a drive from the city, but definitely worth a look.

Will definitely be back here to drone at some point in the near future. This is a beautiful place that is kept super clean. I have been wanting to come here for about a year now and I just got the chance to. Me and a friend biked all the way here from Uptown.

The architecture is phenomenal! Take away the religiosity and you're left with an amazing building, but that is all.

Purify your soul and meditate. This Holy Place has a remarkable architecture and the history of Baha'i religion is explained in detail. Being the Baha'i House of Worship for the North America, it-in my humble opinion-a must see in Chicago. It takes about an hour and half with a bicycle and an hour by car. Parking is available.

The only Baha'i temple in North America is located here in suburban Chicago. The temple looks otherworldly. The staff is extremely welcoming as long as you respect the peaceful nature of the site.
