When I moved to Milwaukee I had to fill my whole apartment. I wanted a design that was modern but also matched my lifestyle. I contacted Bachman Furniture's design team to help me. They asked all the right questions to start filtering down on furniture that would fit with my vision. At one point the Bachman team reviewed the blueprints of my new apartment along with the colors and materials of carpet, counters and cabinets. Everything came together awesome! I am beyond thrilled with the look, quality and functionality of every piece. You know you made the right decision when your friends and family tell you how great your place looks and feels. Spend your money elsewhere. Jerry and the other staff members are all smiles and nice to you, kissing your behind before you purchase after you purchase their customer service skills go out the window!!!! I bought a living room set there the triest one, which is pricey. About 5 days after it was delivered I noticed that strings of fabric were constantly falling off of the pillows with the set. So I called right away and was not able to speak with Jerry until after the eighth call. He said that I would have to email the service department with the problem in which I did right away also. In the email I asked them to call me and left my number. Got no response for two weeks so I emailed again. A week later I got an email stating that it s expected to happen. I am furious the fabric is constantly shedding and becoming very scarce. Don t be fooled the items are over priced and EVERYTHING has a clearance tag on it which is a scam. Since the items are clearance basically you are buying as is. Go elsewhere and spend your money where it s appreciated and you are treated with respect and feel like a valued customer.
I had such a great experience with Bachman. They are helpful and have great quality furniture. I wanted furniture that will last. I have found that online shopping you can't expect much. I will be returning for our next remodel.
I had a great experience with Bachman Furniture to furnish my new home. We had excellent customer service, that gave great suggestions on what we needed, but also kept us within our budget. It was a very seamless process for a stressful and hectic task.
Went in with my husband to look at furniture and had a drink with me because I'm pregnant. Explained this to the he lady and she still kicked us out. Went outside to finish it and came back in, looked around, and the furniture is extremely outdated. The sales lady then approchaed us and due to already being annoyed with her I left. She then told my husband she's been pregnant and "never acted like that" will never recommend this place and will explain how wreibke service is
I am a returning customer to this store. I furnished multiple rooms in my home with purchases from this store. I recently ordered an item and changed my mind about the purchase since it would not fit in the space and didn t resolve my storage problem. I went back to the store within 7 days and was told I had to talk to the salesman. I called the salesman the next day and explained the problem. He explained their no refund policy but was willing to let me choose another item, which I did. When he gave me my total, I questioned the amount and reminded him of our previous conversation and his agreement that I could select another item. I was then told he had misunderstood. He said he would contact the owners for permission to make a one time exception. 4 week s has passed and in that time not one phone call has been returned although he committed to call me back multiple times. I have made multiple trips to the store only to be promised a return call, which never came. I went to the store yesterday and today only to be told he would call me, which he did not. I have never received such poor service. Don t shop here. The staff of this store only seems interested in making a sale but do not value their customers. Don t shop here.
We needed some furniture, so my husband and I went to Bachman Furniture in April. When we walked into the store, we saw most products have clearance tags. We ordered a set of sofa and a king bedroom set from them. Jerry, the salesman said that they are from Italian. But they don't have any in stock, we have to wait about 4 months for the next shipment. Yes, they order brand new Italian furniture for clearance sale. We were more excited than curious at that time.
In September, our order arrived, and we scheduled a day for delivering. Their delivering date is not flexible at all. Only one day per week for our area, so I have my parent-in-laws waited in the house. When I got home in the afternoon, I noticed two small cut on the back of the sofa and a discoloration spot. One cut was even repaired in some way, but the cut is still very obvious. I contacted Bachman Furniture right away. Jerry said that I have to talk to the person who works in custom care department. Carrie is that person, but she is not there that day. After several days, I don't hear from them, I contacted them again. I told Carrie what happened to the sofa. She said she will have the delivery guy take a look at it when he comes for delivering another item.
The delivery guy came and took several pictures. I have to call again to find out the result. Carrie said she will talk with her manager, then let me know. After several days, Carrie called me said the delivery guy didn't notice the damage when they deliver the sofa. My in-laws are in their 70's, their eyesight are not very good. It's possible that they didn't notice anything. But I saw the damage right away when I got home. I told Carrie that I don't think it's caused by the delivery, I think it was damaged in the factory, because one cut was repaired. But Carrie told me that the sofa set is sold as clearance item, Bachman is not responsible for anything. WTF!!! They have clearance tag on almost every furniture, and they order the sofa set as brand new item from the manufacture! Now they tell me they are not responsible for any damage because of the clearance item? I think Bachman Furniture is using Clearance Tag as a sales strategy, but then use it again to get them out of responsibilities.
Beware about their product. They claimed that the product is from Italy, but the quality is not very Italian. There is no brand tag attach to the furniture, which make me wonder if they are authentic Italian furniture.
I won't go back there anymore, I won't refer my friend shopping there anymore either. We made almost $9000 purchase from them, but didn't get $9000 service. They shouldn't treat their customers as idiots.
Well let me start my list. First thing when I walk in a mouse runs across the floor..I cross referenced a lot of the furniture I thought was of value and 90% of it is from China. Finally, just from being in the store for 45 minutes I can see that the employees are not treated well and the owner obviously does not care about them, which makes me think he does not care about his customers either. Just for the record outright lying is not a good sales technique.
Though I consider myself a true advocate for technology I ve learned (the hard way) that the only true way to determine the quality, feel, and comfort of furniture is to see it in person. Go there - it's worth the quick trip!
After an exhaustive (and utterly disappointing) tour of furniture stores throughout the Milwaukee area, a friend of mine suggested that I visit Bachman Furniture. Though I don t know where this notion originated, I thought Bachman Furniture would be too high-end for me.
However, when I first visited, I was pleasantly surprised! The furniture was reasonably priced, very stylish, and of high-quality.
I ve come to get to know Joe Bachman since and have used Bachman Furniture to furnish my home, home office, and main office. Most of their furniture is built to spec/custom order so though you won t be leaving the store that day with your furniture, it has ALWAYS been worth the wait.
Bachman's provided my new bedroom set. We are so happy with the quality and uniqueness. We definitely shopped around and what brought us to Bachman's was how different the furniture at this store was. Our style is more contemporary and they had a large selection. The entire experience from order to delivery was excellent! All of our friends comment about how much they love our new pieces. I highly recommend Bachman Furniture.
Terrible experience, non professional! The administration is not respectful and not returning with answers or additional information that she promised during the phone conversation. Never again i will be back there.
My husband and I have different styles. He's modern. I'm eclectic. Not only did owner and designer, Joe Bachman, capture both. He pulled samples of colors and styles neither of us would dream up on our own, yet feel so authentically us. Our living room is a sanctuary that both of us can retreat to together and appreciate individually. Furniture purchases, whether one offs or full rooms, should be a process and mean something to the owner(s). That's what Bachman's is all about.
My experience was horrible here. I went to Bachman s to shop their moving sale I purchased a king size mattress set for approximately $1100. During the delivery of my mattress my kitchen table (island) was broken by the delivery drivers while moving it. I called the company immediately told a sales man that answered the phone the drivers broke my table he told me that everyone had left for the day but to email photos which I immediately sent ( this was on a Sunday evening around 6:30pm)so on Monday I didn t hear anything back from the company so I gave them a call the secretary started that the manager was out sick and that she would pass all the information along to him so I waited Tuesday no call Wednesday no call Thursday no call so I went to the store the manager was in I explained everything to him. He told me he would get back to me by 2pm which he did but to only tell me they are not responsible for the damages. How do you come to someone s house to delivery a mattress destroy their kitchen table and not be responsible. The manager was so rude and unprofessional it was just mind blowing. I thought this was a reputable company but after the way they treated me a loyal customer I wouldn t recommend anyone shop their. Managers customer service skill absolutely suck. Boycott this place.
Well where can I start? What a wonderful experience!! The last two weeks my wife and I toured through 8 different furniture stores without finding what we wanted. We were looking for sunroom furniture, not rattan or wicker but just a nice couch love seat and chair. We entered this store and was met by a very nice young man ( which I found out later was the 3rd generation owner). He asked us a number of questions and the proceeded to spend the next three hours helping us order our furniture. We were extremely pleased in how we were handled and ordered our furniture and will definitely go back and I would highly recommend Bachman Furniture..
My experience started off well with the lady saling me the furniture. I wanted to return to purchase the chair to match. She lied and said the frame was discontinued. I had a friend call and ask about the same furniture called Kathy and another sales lady to him he could by it as a set. And if you already made a purchase your grandfathered in. They get you to buy and they begin to lie as if I just wanted something for free. None of the sale representatives are on the same page until you become livid over theirs lies. Not a good place of business. They play games one sales person say one thing and the other say some else. Spend your money somewhere else.
Rip off!!! they sell bonded leather which starts peeling. Call them and complain they never return calls or address your complaints. Please stay away!!
Mel was absolutely fantastic! She helped us find a sectional and bedroom set despite us being very picky customers. We had extremely difficult standards to fulfill because both the bedroom and living room are small but she poured so much time and dedication into our project! In search of a new couch, we headed to the Bachman store. Having purchased from them in the past we felt confident in finding just what we needed. This store does not disappoint! Their new location is spacious and open. Our salesperson, Nels, gave us many sizes, styles, fabrics, & price ranges to choose from. Now I want to redo the entire house! Thank you Nels. I loved my experience with Bachman Furniture. I think this is the best furniture store in the Milwaukee area. I was pleasantly surprised with the wide range of designs displayed on the bi-level showroom, including all styles from modern and contemporary to traditional and ornate carvings. In line with my taste, Bachman's has an especially fantastic selection of European collections. I worked with one of the sales people who was extremely helpful. I also appreciated when the owner stopped by to make sure there weren't any further questions. All in all, I will be highly recommending Bachman Furniture to anyone looking to furnish their home.
We recently bought a sofa, loveseat and recliner for our new home from Bachman s and our experience was fantastic! We worked closely with Heidi and she was VERY nice and informative. She truly made our experience there one of the best we ve had and we will be back for any other furniture needs in the future.
Called couple times no one picked up. But after seeing these reviews I think its unfair that the owner is only addressing people who gave 5 star reviews and did not address any customers who gave lower reviews. Probably will not be coming because lack of customer service.
The staff was extremely professional and friendly. They helped me pick out a great couch for my new place, and were extremely helpful in guiding me through my struggle to make a decision about the style, and brand to go with. I will definitely be returning when and if I need more for my new place.
