Babich & Associates Review

Not impressed. I registered with them twice in the last 15 months. I saw several administrative jobs I was qualified for yet I did not get contacted at all. I applied for two different jobs I saw posted. On one Tammy called me, then said hey let me call you right back and never did and did not return my calls. I applied to the person listed in the advertisement on a second job and she finally got back to me saying I needed to go through the woman I signed up for 15 months ago, the one who has never contacted me for interviewing for anything. I know they work for the companies they represent and not the applicants but still.

Useless. Met with Mr. Bashara. Had an apt at 2:00 at his office. He came out at 2:35. Told me I had to keep in touch with him every week. When I call he doesn t pick up. Weird guy. Thinks he s worth more than he is. He needs to try to remember that I am a client.

Shayna contacted me about an open position she had and it was definitely the perfect fit! She was incredible to work with, made the process smooth and obtained excellent results. I highly recommend her!

I worked with John Hyer who was so diligent and hard working. I have never worked with such an amazing person. He was so caring and determined to find the right job for me, and I can not say enough how thankful I am for him.

Lots of details which Ill refrain from embarassing the 30M bragasorous. I always tell recruiters up front how I expect to be treated and past behaviors to avoid . Sure enough another placating palace of unprofessionalism. I was warned by others in my industry to not work with these folks. I gave them an opportunity and sure enough it was awful. Live and learn.

It's rather unfortunate to see the false narrative reply below. I've also noticed a pattern of defense on every reply I read absolving them of any mistakes . Further, I was respectful enough to send him a private message to avoid further embarrassment for his staff and provided constructive criticism. His reply was shockingly repulsive, including more disingenuous commentary. They did a sloppy job and I have emails to prove my point.

Very unprofessional. They never get back to you on details of the job. Discriminatory. I dealt with Liz. I won't try to work with them again! She claims she is busy with emails and may not get back to you..well she never does. Not a positive experience at all!

I am writing to recommend using Babich and Associates, I have been working with the owner since 2010. My experience has been wonderful! This a professional group and they have been extremely helpful in interview preparation which includes resume development assistance and interviewing strategies. You also have FREE access to an online 40 hour training to help you in your job search.

In addition, they have a daily radio show which provides invaluable tips and guidance to support the job search process. Finally, despite their busy schedule, if they know my job search is active, they will remember me when a fit comes along even if I haven t called them. I found almost everything about their office and staff unimpressive. They say they are going to get right to work for you , found them to be extremely slow and they paid no attention to the radius I was willing to travel for employment. Ended up finding a much stellar opportunity on my own. I wouldn t bother with them.

Needing to find a new job, Babich and associates was one of the many recruiters that I talked to. However they were the only one that would reach out periodically and check in. They also were the only recruiter to get me an interview in a time that no one was getting many. They also helped to make the interview count, with prep calls and materials so that there were no surprises come interview time. This is a company that takes what you want and finds you a perfect job. You are also a person to them not a Job. I recommend working with them if you are looking for a fresh start.

I walked into this place expecting it to be like any other place. I worked with John Hyer and had been very transparent on what exactly I was looking for and gave him a timeframe. 2 days later I received a call for 2 interviews and landed a role I wasn t expecting, closer to home and with the pay I expected. I ve never worked with other recruiters who were able to go above and beyond for their candidates. Thanks John for everything and I ll always refer anyone in the finance and accounting files to Babich. They re truly the best and I m so thankful that I came to this firm.

Don't bother with this "consulting" firm. I have experience in both retail management and executive administrative work. My past 2 jobs were in retail, but they had heavy administrative duties included.
I called and spoke with the receptionist, explaining that I was looking for a job in the administrative field and she transferred me to Liz. After talking to me for less than 5 minutes, Liz said she could not help me find a job in administrative work due to the fact that my last 2 jobs were in retail. I tried explaining that there were duties such as typing, filing, and payroll, all with heavy computer work. She didn't want to listen, never asked me come in to even discuss my experience and ended the phone call by telling me to email my resume to her. Is this considered "consulting"? Their online "data sheet" asks at the end to list 5 persons "who could locate you within a reasonable time because throughout your career, even years from now, we will inform you of opportunities that may be of value to you." I don't think so.

I used Pamela Miller at Babich & Associates to help me with my job search. She guided me through the entire process, beginning with the content in my resume to preparing me for each interview. She is extremely professional and understands talent and where it should be placed. She helped me land the dream job I am currently in. I would highly recommend her when looking for your next career move.

What a horrible staffing agency this place is. The president of the firm (Tony Beshara) will threaten you if you ask for an update on what is going and why you haven't received a phone call for an interview.

Waste of time, this started when I was sent a message asking me to interview for a ME design position.
First red flag was them contacting me through LinkedIn proxied through Indeed. Second red flag was when they wanted me to fill out a canned sheet that asked completely irrelevant questions, but at this time I was still under the impression they were just a headhunter firm trying to fill a position. Third red flag was when I showed up and was treated rudely by the front desk staff and was told by them that my SER , which has full page descriptions of my previous positions and detailed descriptions of work performed, wasn't needed.
Mark Rice is who I ended up dealing with and then he told me they didn't have an opening but rather they try to find openings. I was weary, but had gotten this far so I said okay and talked with him. In the 3 months since, I've heard from him once and gotten zero worth from him.
In the same time, I had 13 interviews and 3 offers extended. Today is actually my first day in the exact role I was looking for.

Wasn't able to finish the process because I'm moving out of state, but the experience I've had with Babich has been great. I personally enjoyed the invitation to meet in person, and appreciated the recruiter's professionalism and consistent communication. I'd recommend to anyone looking for work in DFW

Tony and his team are very professional and honest. They are not your typical placement firm. They truly work with you as an individual to find a real match as opposed to putting you up for everything open at the time and hoping something sticks. They also partner with successful organizations and ensure that the people they are placing are going in for lasting careers, not jobs. Regardless of which side of the search you are on, Babich and Associates is a smart choice.

I don t really post reviews. But I had to call out the amazing work of this firm, specifically the Accounting recruiter, Gary Katz. He is a phenomenal people person who helped me grow not only in my candidacy, but as well in my understanding of the right job fits for me. This was especially important after a few bad experiences; and a mid career industry switch. Gary made that marketable. I look forward to doing business with them and Gary again in the future, either in the hiring or candidate capacity. Babich & Associates is THE placement agency to go to, if you are looking for a career. Sure, there are plenty of agencies who can place you at a job, but none will work to find you a career, like Babich will. They will train you on writing the perfect resume, how to prepare for and execute an interview, plus much more, while tailoring how and where they place you, to what is going to be best for you. Their entire process is created to place you where you are best suited to be, which, in my opinion, is a relief. They won t send you on every random interview, but instead will find opportunities they know you will have the best shot at landing. They don t want to waist your time, or theirs.

SCAM!!! read this first before Visiting the office. I Received LinkedIn Job opportunity from Jim Brown, for Opportunity with 126k-146K Pay, that the Bait he use to call in desperate people looking for work, he phone me and ask me how i feel regarding this opportunity, which i was very interested Then he schedule an appointment to meet him and go over the opportunity , at the office he will ask for fill out a Datasheet in which he want you to fill out your info and your work info and manager info which he can use to further investigate on if you are leaving your current work so he can put someone else at your current position. Be very careful on what you fill out, the Appointment with Jim was very short and not worth it, i spend 1 hour drive to visit Jim office then 30 min to fill out there Data sheet , and in meeting he didn't even mention regarding the opportunity he told me that he will go over my resume and reach back... we he had 3 days to review my resume. and if he didn't had the job opportunity why they keep calling people for the opportunity which does not exist. visit them if you have free time to spend, and also please write the review

I first found Babich & Associates on my own through a quick Google search and very glad I did. Going to this agency was a complete waste of my time. The recruiter, if you can call her that, that i intereviewed with was some trashy woman with tattoos on her arm and a smoker's voice that was a bit sarcastic with me and didn't even read my resume properly. I had to keep correcting her because she kept misreading things. Geez.

Pam was great the first week, took all my information down, and asked for me to follow up a week later. Followed up, and she said to follow up once more, this time a month later. Sure, no problem, I totally understand. Followed up again, no response. I haven't heard anything since. People need to realize there's a difference being human and a human being. Ended up just going on linkedin and doing all the legwork myself. You should too.

Today I spoke with the most unprofessional recruiter in my history of employment, Anthony Potenti. Rather than give me the basics regarding the job, he sarcastically asked why I'm still in my field as it is over saturated. Then he challenged my knowledge in my field regarding federal requirements and passively told me that SAR reporting is not a secret and can be shared. According to FInCEN, a branch of the U.S. Treasury, it should NEVER be disclosed. My job is to protect this country from money laundering activity, terrorist financing and human trafficking on the finance side and intercept those transactions. How dare he insult me and suggest that my job is too saturated or suggest that it's unimportant...or even that I should find something better to do. HE DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT OR AUTHORITY to push that opinion on jobseekers. Nor does he have the maturity or the expertise to look at a resume and determine who's qualified or why. Anthony Potenti is a LIABILITY. I wonder what the Dallas News Journal and other media outlets would feel about his particular statements downplaying U.S. security and the prevention of terrorism as well as this (brand) image of Babich as a whole? I will be forwarding this on to the Office of the Comptroller of Currency as well as the head of HR for the 14 major banks/servicers.

Only thing you need to know is this place is UNPROFESSIONAL.

Been ignored by every "top rated" so-called placement agency in this area, who refuse to even acknowledge my simple request of "do you work with people who are looking for full-time, direct hire positions" (an EASY "yes or no" question one would think), someone told me to contact this particular company, as they were "so much more professional" than all the others.

HA HA HA!

I contacted them with the same type of inquiry and it's been WEEKS with NO response! Yet another extremely UNPROFESSIONAL company, who can't even take 10 seconds to give a "yes or no" answer.

I went to them in Fort Worth and Dallas about 7 -8 years ago. Even then they were totally useless. I agree with reviewer below that when I interviewed with the woman I was wondering how the heck can this woman help? She was all sweet over the phone, and gave me directions for the DART rail, etc, but when I got there, she couldn't wait to see the last of me. Can't believe they are still in business.
