Aziza Paradise Hotel Review

Friendly staff. Pool is regularly cleaned. However, when I first entered my room it was stuffy and had mosquitoes. Good thing was that they would fix the problem as soon as you let them know.

People were nice, good rooms, good service and great food!

I stayed here for two nights, compared with the facility they have, the price is not that worthy. We had to change our room cause no hot water at the shower. Also the hair dryer was ridiculous, it was almost impossible to use as it was attached to the wall and got overheat after one using for one minute. Breakfast was below average but I guess cooking is not really the best in Palawan anyway. Don't expect the food quality as good as in Thailand.

The place was good. But the food will take years to cook better make an advance order bprior tonyiurbdinner.

It really is a 3 star hotel but it gets the job done as an affordable vacay spot

This hotel is awesome. Love the entrance. The pool is so inviting. I felt secure and safe staying at this hotel.

Quiet. Clean. Friendly staff. Good food. Would definitely recommend this place for a stay. Also a good place to hang out and dance in their bar.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Food and cocktails were also great.

Lack: room equipment is old, musty smell, you need to pull TV or refrigerator to have a charging stand
Excellent: Room Wifi is strong enough, not far from the city center

Nice place. I Enjoyed staying in Palawan during our convention. Friendly staff. Very accomodating. Amenities are fair. They have a nice swimming pool and a mini gym.

Nice location-near the airport.But noisy AC, dirty pool, cool staff, and awful breakfast. Palawan is a beautiful place, but I would NEVER visit this hotel again.

Wi-Fi is not very good. Pool water isn't clean enough.

Really good hotel, nice location, excellent service and very clean. Wanted a better Wi-Fi as is stucked many times, and gym is very small and not maintained. Definitely will visit if come back.

Worthless place to stay. Room was easily 85 degrees F all night despite the AC setting. The Internet was virtually useless and the staff, though polite, are as sharp as a butter knife. My advise.....buy a tent, sleep on the beach.

Stayed in early January to tour Palawan w/family. Nice hotel for its price. Seemed understaffed, service was slow. (Needed towels etc. but didn't get them until next day.) Pool water seems a little murky. Dining area had odd smell, possibly due to fish. Breakfast is good, they have customizable pancakes!

Beautiful hotel with good services. Rooms are big and clean, waiters are good manner and always helps.

Friendly staff' lovely surrounds' well located. Initial impression is great. Rooms are average' bedding and towels are old and not well laundered. White towels are grey. Replacement of towels and bedding should be a priority and maybe review the laundry service company. Japanese Restaurant meal is good' but main restaurant is average. Meals are not up to standard. I would recommend eating elsewhere. Relaxing place. WIFI is unsecured and works best in the lobby and by the pool.

Hotel need refreshing. The room is invaded by dampness. The buffet dinner was great while breakfast was very disappointing, you have to pay an extra if you want green tea or eggs.

Big, clean rooms, cold aircon, big warm water pool, excellent service (staff are solicitous, attentive, helpful and friendly). Resto had good food, good ambiance, big servings of ala carte meals. Enjoying my stay very much.

Rooms are old and don't feel like staying in hotel. Facilities are not up to the mark but staff is good.

This was a stay beyond my expectations. Beautiful place and excellent service... from trip arrangements to personal needs. But the best was they were so friendly and humble. This was by far the best hotel I've been to.

This was the worst hotel in Palawan I stayed.

Loved this amazing little hotel.. definitely needs a fresh new coat of paint ... The gym needs to be cleaned but over all can't complain about their accommodations ..great breakfast bar had amazing traditional Filipino foods at the bar and the price was so low for the room I can't complain about the place .. great service , friendly staff, a mini oasis .. #jaxlocalvibes

Nice hotel! Clean modern presentation, comfortable beds, friendly helpful staff, well amenitied, fabulous breakfast, convenient safe location. Highly recommend this for puerto princesa visit

good service, better known locally for its decent seminar/function halls, vibrant atmosphere albeit 'out of the way' from everything else.

It's OK, a definite 3star place. Breakfast nor very good. U have to come very early otherwise everything is gone. But great supportive staff n very friendly n accommodating. Clean room but could use minor improvements. Really nice pool.

We stayed for 2 nights in Aziza Paradise Hotel in January 2016 after 5 days vacation in Daluyong Beach & Mountain Resort in Sabang, west coast of Palawan. We arrived in the afternoon & got a double room in the basement floor. No elevators available inspite of 3 floors building. Difficult for elderly person with handicapp to move around with crutches. We got help from the concierge to have our bagages brought to our room. The room was clean and comfortable. We decided first for room service food for the evening but it was not good. We made a complaint, sent it back & decided to have a meal in the hotel restaurant instead. The dinner we had was okey. The following morning after our breakfast the hotel restaurant manager approach us and apoligized for the previous evening episode. It was then okey the rest of our stay. The first day we took a city tour. It was very interesting, extensive & very satisfying to see so much of the city. The second night we were in the hotel, we had drinks in the hotel lobby. Then decided to try the Japanese Restaurant called Hibachina in the hotel. We ordered a variety of seafood, vegetables & noodles which was served & well presented raw for us to boil ourselves on the table while having our dinner. We shared a bottle of white wine with the meal. It was a delicious, warm & hearty dinner. After the meal, we stayed in the lobby for coffee & drinks. Then we were informed that there will be music entertainment in the hotel lobby. The band & lady singer was very good. It turned out to be a very pleasant & enjoyable evening. The following day we took it easy in the hotel & prepared for the return flight trip to Manila. We must say that on our arrival we experienced that the reception personels were not so helpful, not attentive & not accomodating for us to have a room on the ground floor. The restaurant & concierge personnel were friendly, attentive & very helpful. In general our short stay in this hotel was satisfactory.

Purely. Quietly. Near the city center. With police protection. Friendly service and tasty food. At your disposal, among others bar and swimming pool. Rooms clean, air-conditioned. In the evening, you can relax with a beer or other drink near the pool.

They are very warm and accommodating. The place is very clean and beautifully designed.

Very nice hotel in Puerto Princessa. The place is nice and the food decent. A little noisy because of a group which did not respect the schedules of attendance of the swimming pool but apart from that, everything was fine.
In any case, it is always the same people who do not respect the tranquility of others. It's cultural

The people who make the eggs for breakfast are very creative, making pancakes with cartoon patterns, and the children love them.
It would be better if the equipment in the room could be updated.

I have been to the restaurant here several times as I am living in the area. I really want to like the place and have given up. Each experience has been similar. The restaurant is big, modern and beautiful at first sight though loud sending almost an echo within. The local TV was on loud, loud pop music was on/off creating a jarring effect and the staff's party in the corner was echoing throughout also. This would be tolerable with soft relaxing music and good service, but this was not the case. It was like being in a loud factory. I could not get someones attention to get my bill though I was the only table and 5-10 staff in eyes view. I appreciate the vegetarian burger that I ordered. I asked for mustard and mayo om the side which at least one was very sweet. Its hard to eat a sweet burger so it was ruined for me. My table was dirty. I had to ask three times to have it cleaned properly as ants were abound and stains were obvious. It took several attempts asking staff to get connected to the wifi. It surprises me a hotel this beautiful with wonderful local people as restaurant staff is not more peaceful and efficient. The man initially waiting on me was kind, many others pitched in to help later, maybe he left. It's a much dreaded experience for me now and I probably will never return. As I'm writing they are apparenyly doing a staff training next to me with voices echoing. I recommend this restaurant improve the music and take staff conversations inside the kitchen. This would improve a lot and it has a lot of potential. I wish it the best as I'm sure it employs many wonderful people.

Very nice grounds and staff. Prices for food and drinks are a bit pricey for what it is. Overall we still had an enjoyable stay.

The rooms are very nice, the showers could be built better the drain clogs easily and causes the bathroom to flood if you take a long shower. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The pool is maintained ok, it is slightly cloudly and chlorine is added by hand. Food and buffet were average. Breakfast was the best with fresh made eggs your way and designer pancakes.

Lived the place... kind of off the beaten path, but wmeasy walking distance to many places

Restaurant service was the only thing going for Aziza . Everything else was really worst. . Shuttle to the airport was late to pick and drop. We were almost late for our flight .

The place is very near from Puerto Princesa Airport and 15mins ride from the market. The room rate is kinda expensive but we've got a lower rate for booking online. The service was good with buffet breakfast i expect for lot of sea food since it is a province near the sea but most of the food either pork or chicken. The facility is clean they also provide free airport transport.

Breakfast was the only thing going for Aziza. Everything else was not that good. Service was OK. Shuttle to the airport was late. We were almost late for our flight

Nice hotel for couples and families not recommended for solos. Locating is far from city center and not even near the beach. No views. just a relaxing hotel

This hotel looks really beautiful inside, I love how they accommodate their guests.

The room is amazing but the wifi is very slow on the first floor. I like this hotel but there are restaurants advertised to be opened but they are not.

This place is very peaceful and relaxing. The staffs are also very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay here and are looking forward to chilling back here in our next trip.

Intital impression is very positive. Certainly heart warming after a day of travelling. Made all the stresses worth it. This place will be everything you are hoping it to be. Great lobby/pool/restaurant area and the rooms are modern and clean.

Hotel was not that close to the city center but still very nice and clean. Probably one of the better hotels around the city.

I had big cockroach under the bed, some insects inside the bathroom ( really scary)
internet is very slow in the reception area and in the room u have no coverage at all so if u r ready to commit for a vacation with no internet this is the perfect place
