Ayodya resort bali Review

First of all hotel is old, there rooms that are actually broken and shouldn't be given to people, so be careful. Hotel changed room for newer one but still it has a lot of concerns. Second, restaurants are very expensive on a territory of hotel, but service and food are not on the same level often. Only one exception - Genji restaurant which have quite good food. This hotel is big, and you will find out that there are a LOT of people everywhere. Breakfast is also questionable, and messy with a lot of people, small cups for drinks so you should run every minute to add more water. And annoying service - they literally can't leave you to relax in the room, and try to break in for couple of time during the day, so we just put "do not disturb" card on the door for whole day - to have change to have rest. It has also positive sides like location, clean beach, nice pools, but as for me 5 starred hotel shouldn't be like that. So I have left as much stars in Google maps as hotel should have

Huge resort! Needs some renovation but honestly it is amazing, staff are kind, it is reasonably priced and most importantly RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!! Book without a doubt!

New year count down is the most memorable ... the event is exciting and the fireworks are wonderful ... the Italian restaurant is good ... the ambience is classic ... what a great experience

The DJ entertainment is good, the venue can make the family have beaches too, the food is good

A hotel inside ITDC Area, Nusa Dua, will serve you with old style building and Bali atmosphere. Have no chance to see to room :(

Please improve staff service again ... if it's already closed, say. Don't just turn off the lights ... how come the impression is driving away roughly !!

The most exotic hotel with an area of approximately 11 hectares ... suitable for those who want a honeymoon even though the building is fairly old ... but the care and beauty of the place and the hotel garden are quite good ... the geese, birds, rice fields are free to roam ... looks beautiful ... with fish koi..nya ... mantabs ... it feels like lingering here ..

Spent a pleasant week here with my family. Great for adults and kids. Nice pool, only complaint is that the pool surround is very slippery and the concrete drainage grate around the pool edge is unsightly and uncomfortable to walk on. Good range of restaurants. Whole place needs a face-lift though. The lift near our room broke down on day 3 (of 7) and was still broken when we left. Friendly and professional staff. Easy access to other areas by taxi.

Hotel accessories are all bad. It is still a bit unreliable after changing rooms. Four star hotel should be rated.

It's awesome stay to enjoy but lack veg food option

Best place on Earth to spend some time off, awesome and very exotic resort. Rooms, breakfast, drinks were amazing

Nice beachfront, delicious food, yummy buffet breakfast. Good wings at the beach bar, over priced alcohol. Slightly dated rooms.

The hotel rooms were okay for us, the room cleaning did its job very well. Okay, I don't really love a bathtub for showering either. This should be a problem for older people who may be unable to walk. Should the hotel management possibly consider a renovation. Because who still bathes on vacation.
The restaurants in the hotel were too expensive for us, we would rather eat outside. The staff tried very hard to keep us going to events. But the price wins.
There was a pool party one weekend. Everything was arranged very well. However, there was no response from the guests. It was certainly due to the prices.
On the whole, I can only recommend the hotel in terms of friendliness, service and cleanliness. Prices are a bit high compared to outside (a shame). Even the ATM (= cash machine) did not work for several days. :(

Brilliant place... nature at it's best and loved the kind of hospitality administered by the resort.
People especially are very warm and humble.
Would want to visit again :)

Beautiful Balinese style, spacious and very clean hotel. Very nice pool facilities. Clean beach overlooking the waterblow and with good visibility on the Agung. Mega breakfast buffet of European, Asian, Indian, fruit etc. always fresh and tasty. Extremely friendly helpful staff.

It's a resort right on the Nusa Dua Beach. Has great ambiance, awesome location, huge variety of choices in food and parties.

Ayodya resort is a 5-star hotel located in the elite BTDC Nusa Dua area with state-of-the-art facilities and very exotic white sand beaches.

The lobby was far from the room, so it was very hard to come and go by exchanging room keys, but the sea this morning was very good.

Both pool and beach are the best! I think it is the best luxury to spend slapsticks without leaving the hotel.

The resort is great.. having great time there.. only the thing is there was very less options in veg breakfast..

Great 5 star property with some Balinese touch which makes it different from the rest. Must stay here if you visit nusa Dua.

Older furniture and pool tiles. Great staff, excellent food. Restaurant prices are much higher than in the places around. I recommend taking a free shuttle bus to Bali Collection or walking 5 minutes to the village. Beach is beautifull, water wasn't very calm. Nicely secluded.

This would be the VERY best of our 4 visits to Bali.
Added to the pleasure was booking it through Scoopon, the extras made it more enjoyable and what a saving.

Chulisimo the resort, very nice beach, good service

Very good beach bar with starry sky. Something of a 1001 night breathe on the beach, in the countryside the possibility to comfortably sit down on cushions. One of them has a network of lights here, which is very nice to look at in the evening. Drinks and food were delicious and affordable (for example pizza 150K). Sundays is Beach Club at Ayodya, louder music and program on the beach. We stayed in the neighboring hotel and have more often end the evening in Ayodya, nice service!

The Ayodya resort in Nusa Dua is a beautiful looking resort... from outside and the reception floor. The pools and access to beach is good as well. This is probably why you hear a lot of 'oh!' and 'wow!'when you mention the name.
Unfortunately their so called 5 star rating ends right there.

Step into their "deluxe" rooms and its pretty average or maybe even just a notch below. Rooms look old and aren't maintained well. Bathroom looks dull and claustrophobic with cheap quality fit outs (toilet, shower curtains and bathtub look very old).

We were asked to pay a deposit of approx $100 for mini bar but our mini bar was empty! Well almost empty actually as we found a hair in it.

Phoneline to the guest relations desk didn't work. Another guest whose phone did work was never able to reach them anyway.

You can hear noises from the corridors and next room.

Based on my recent experience, a 3 star is a fair rating. They need to desperately ramp up their quality of service and room maintenance.

Fantastic week there. Palace lounge was great way to find a quieter bit of the resort and get cool refreshments all day long. Lovely beach kept clean all day long. amazing attentive staff and good restaurants.

At time of visit many repairs and 'upgrades', nice eco system with the big lake, cute squirrels to greet you in the morning.

Too much staff that constantly interrupts; more food sir, more drink sir, dessert sir? Food is typical for a cheap resort, very expensive for Bali and of low standard. Same with drinks.

Hotel rooms suffer from poor air-conditioning, riddled with ants poor WiFi that is slow, filtered by proxies and down 20% of the time.

Sorry to say, but this hotel is yesterdays news. I feel bad for the staff, this management is killing this place.

One of the most scenic resort blessed with a beautiful beach and to complement that beauty Resort's interior and landscape is no less. But the rooms they were not as good as everything else in resort. I know it is the most important part of a stay but it wasnt upto the mark.

Fantastic lovely room bed pillows great food especially buffet breakfast beautiful could not believe range on offer staff absolutely gorgeous would bend over backwards to help courteous always smiling nothing was any problem so if you want a great holiday go to Ayodya you won't be disappointed

Hotel and rooms are in need of a renovation all very old and not very clean dust everywhere, large bathroom with no bidet and very old shower with curtain, even the taps full of warmth and outdated.
ATTENTION: on the excursions organized in the hotel, ask to explain everything it includes and have it put in writing they are also very clever I tell you, we were told that there would be included a guide in English or Italian instead it was not so ( it was extra) entrance tickets to monuments and car park tickets had to be included but this was not the case. The only thing that was included was the fuel and the driver with the stinking car luckily there was air conditioning.

Beautiful views, big grounds, fantastic beach, numeral pools, amazing food and good service. Also close to the Bali Collections shopping grounds. Loved it!
