Ayodya resort bali Review

There are many traditional statues and decorations. It's very impressive. And beach is very close to resort. So we could easy to move between beach and infinity pool. But behind infinity pool, there are many stores, that's why scenery of infinity pool is less beautiful than before

Amazing Resort, we had a great time. The resort is big and the rooms were excellent. We stayed in a room overlooking sea. Room had all the facilities and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. In fact we were lucky to get ocean facing room. A great view, we will never forget...

Please stop providing bookings for stupid russian people. They are really disgussting and annoying, screaming bad words on the pool, being drunk even on the breakfast, etc. If you are 5 star hotel, you have to control the ethnic flow of your customers to get all clients satisfied with a comfotable stay. 80% of all visitors were russians, stupid rednecks without any manners and education

The hotel is located in a nice part of the ITDC complex with private access to the beach. It has a well manicured garden and an impressive lobby. However, that's all I can say about the resort in a positive way.
The check-in process was painful, there were a lot of people surrounding the check-in desk when we got there and it seems that they could not wait to get rid of us quick enough from the reception. We were hurried away so that they can do the next client. The room we requested was one with a King bed but ended up with two single beds and there was no attempt to assist with our request. When we got in the room, coming from two other resorts in Legian and Ubud, I was shocked to find the state of the room. The room was old, overlooking a parking lot and the bathroom belongs to the 70s with a shower tap that needs a strength of Hercules to turn off. The website in my view overstates the quality of the rooms, they have seen their renaissance day a long long time ago.
It was also noisy through out the day and at night, you could hear the footsteps of the room above. The room was a grande room which supposedly better than the regular deluxe room but in no way that was the case. I could get a better room at a local motel here for that price.
The building was dated with patch works scattered throughout. A thorough maintenance is required for the complex.
The hotel advertises that it has a lot of guest activities and offers a 500K Rupiah voucher per day, however, they are utterly completely useless. You can only use one 100K (AU$10) per transaction with a minimum of AU$50 spent. We didn't use any of ours.
I was attracted by the large number of activities it says it offers to the guests on the website, however, in reality, one has to pay for every single one of the activities, including bicycle use, pool lifebuoy use (really !!), handicraft session, public yoga session at the hotel to name a view. It is so not worth the value of the money. There are other resorts in the ITDC complex. To me, nothing is offered complimentary by the hotel.
The customer service at the pool and restaurants are not bad and I can't fault them there. overall, the people who do the service (with exception to our check in experience) has been great.
I won't likely stay in this hotel again given my experience and I won't recommend it unless you don't mind the above. I had a great expectation prior to my visit but it was not fulfilled.

I am staying here for one week on vacation and love the included breakfast buffet and the two swimming pools. So far not a single bad experience. Any problems with my room were fixed swiftly. Would recommend although I'd look elsewhere for cheaper dinners and drinks

We chose a room at the Ayodya Palace. We had a great view of the hotel garden.
You can find exotic plants and impressive statues throughout the hotel.
At the Palace we have our own breakfast menu .. The best breakfast of my life !!! The hotel is located directly on the beautiful Nusa Dua beach. Truly unbelievable! A place where you leave all worries behind.

Had my wedding reception here back in Nov 2016 but I totally forgot to give review back at the time.

One thing I can tell is that this hotel is superb and massive! From the grand lobby, to the big pond (or should I call it a lake) in the middle of the resort, everything are majestic and beautifully kept.
The resort has hundreds of rooms and several restaurants which you can choose to fulfill your appetite.
They have their own private beach and believe me the beach is so beautiful (thats why me and my wife choose to held our wedding reception here).

The hotel is build for some time ago, but they try to keep it up to date without sacrificing the authenticity of Balinese style it has.

Overall the property is very well maintain except for some elevator lift that feels a little bit too old make funny noise when operating.

It has several pools (2 or 3 if I'm not mistaken) so no need to worry for crowded pool with human wave inside.

Food also was very delicious! Totally suit the 5-star title. I love the tiramisu dessert SO MUCH! Double thumbs up for the pastry chef!

During my stay there, we also very lucky to get a chance staying in Ayodya Palace rooms. It is the more luxurious and private section of the hotel with separated reception area, restaurant and swimming pool dedicated to guest staying in Ayodya Palace.

The room in Ayodya Palace is bigger and has separate walk-in closet with private terrace garden and bigger bathroom. Service was excellent!

Unfortunately I wasn't had enough time to explore the whole resort, hope I can get back here someday in the future (thats for sure), maybe for my wedding anniversary.

Nice facility, great breakfast, my room looked a little dated but nothing that. I would stay there again.

Beautiful resort.......Rooms are srarting to show their age and could be updated, but they're clean and comfortable. Beds are firm and the beds in the two bed rooms are a small full size. But it has a great bathroom shower and tub and its nice and clean with plenty of room. Nice little balcony off the room too. This place is quite large so it's a walk to the back rooms. Beach is nice but the current pushes you along. As in most beach swimming in Bali you will encounter trash in the water. They do a good job keeping the beach sand cleaned here though. There are two nice pools here a smaller one by the beach and one closer to the property which is very nice and huge. The entrance and lounge area to this resort is beautiful lots of wood and carvings. They have an absolutely great complimentary buffet breakfast with many offerings. I loved the fresh fruit and omelette station best. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Everything you could want in a resort hotel.

The place is in the Nusa Dua beach area ... this hotel is very spacious and cool the architect ... makes us feel at home here for long ... the food is delicious and a very suitable place to unwind ... suitable to relax with the family ...

If you arrive at Ayodya it's astonishing, with all it's waterfalls, fountains and lights it simply looks beautiful at first sight. Unfortunately this first impression crumbles after some time ...

You should make sure you booked a room which is not located on the ground floor drunk russians or big korean families will keep you awake even if you have your room higher. The doors are made out of paper, if you're a light sleeper ... good luck!

The staff is friendly but not outstanding, anyway nothing to complain.

Wi-fi is not available in the rooms, only the lobby, they charge about 4$ for one hour to use it. We had an urgent case and needed some information so, we visited the lobby at 11 pm, they refused to give us the wifi password because it's only sold from 8 am to 10 pm. This was absolutely disappointing. It is cheaper to have a taxi to the next bar, have a beer, use their free wi-fi and walk back!

The guests of the Ayodya resort are quite strange some times, but I will not judge Ayodya for their guests. They offer live music every night, which was nice. The food in all of the restaurants was average to good, but very pricey.

Extra point: The pool got a basketball basket :-)

They sometimes talk you into using their transportation which is three times more expensive than using a cab, which is absolutely save and not less comfortable.

A great hotel, it is a bit spacious but also has the advantage that it does not seem so cramped by the many guests. I had the feeling it is only half booked. Due facility is well maintained and clean. There are many restaurants and there should be something for everyone. A very extensive breakfast. Large pool area and a very large beach. No matter when we went to the beach there were always beach chairs available. There are also several places where I had WIFI. The staff was always nice and greeted friendly. It was also very attentive and helpful. The equipment was ok. Since we left only in the afternoon we were able to enjoy the booth and then use the shower for free. For a clean room was provided. Had they not cleaned our room and showered it would have been easier for them. I think it was up to me as this greeted in front of the restaurants and this felt a little uncomfortable, it had something like a Koberer on the Reeperbahn. Nevertheless, it was okay so far. We have felt very well and safe there.

Amazing resort with a commitment to hospitality. The beaches at the Ayodya palace are private and give a great feel of seclusion while soaking up the sun. Complimentary breakfast every morning as you prepare for the day to enjoy the culture of the city. For couples, you can also arrange a beautiful private dinner on the beach to set the mood for a nice romantic evening before coming back to rest comfortably in your suite. Would highly recommend and plan to visit again should my travels take me back to Bali.

It is a 5-star resort for the local population, for us 4-star. There are 4 restaurants, including a Japanese one. Near the beach there is the area of Street food with cafes. There is a huge pool with deck chairs, showers and bathrooms in the center. There is also a spa. It is a resort that has been owned by the Hilton so it is treated in detail. He took 5 stars in 2006.

Beautiful resort I ever visted. Must go place in Bali. This is beach resort located in in nusa dua. This resort have private beach where you can enjoy whole night with your love one. This is very big resort. We stayed two nights in this resort. Two big swimming pools are there one is middle of the resort and another is front of beach which is infinity pool. Many beach side restaurants are there in this resort. Beautiful lake is there in this resort and many more things. Must go to this place when you are in bali.

Today I picked up, drove guests from Shanghai, China to join the tour to Nusa Lembongan until late afternoon, Mrs Xu Yi Ling.
The hotel building is so good by its standards.

Very strange attitude of the staff towards the visitors of the club. Upon presentation of a 20% discount card, they refused to make a joint bill, although we were sitting at the same table. The service has suffered greatly lately, and the quality of food has deteriorated significantly. We went here for more than a year, every week, it s probably time to change the place.

Hotel for the rich and lazy. To feel the true spirit of Bali do not live in Nusa Duo. Grab your bike and go! The hotel, of course, cool, one of the best in Bali.
