The formalities are quite fluid overall. The exteriors offer a beautiful modern architecture, but the interiors are smooth and leave no particular memories. The food is expensive. Smoking room insufficient in number. To go to a door is easy: corridor right or left.
Parking arrangements are lacking, maybe because there are no doubts. I experienced parking I couldn't get out because there were just random people parking in front of us .. In general it was good, but one of the toilets in the parking building was broken for a long time because there was no water.
International airport in Bali. For those who first enter the path may be somewhat confusing, especially for motorcyclists. Large parking area, 2 car park buildings, 3 motorbike parking buildings, 1 open motorbike parking, and 1 car premium parking for domestic. The area is very spacious, clean and neat. In the terminal there are many tenants such as Last wave, two dragons, hard rock, Starbucks, WHSmith, Periplus, Guardian, Warung made, and of course duty free, etc.
Service is great
Stuff are cheerful and friendly
Airport is clean and has prayers rooms
Average time for all the process is 15 mins
Duty free is very nice not very big but has everything
Lounges are wonderful also
So the airport is amazing really
International terminal that is it
Domestic is very simple and clean also but ofcourse the duty free is very small
Will make this hopefully short and sweet:
Pros:
1) friendly staff
2) fairly small so easy to get in and around.
Cons:
1) very little number of restaurants gate side in international departures. If you like the Hard Rock Cafe, you are set! Otherwise you may find it difficult to find decent selection of restaurants. Hell, Kuala Lumpur low cost terminal is many times better in terms of available restaurant selection.
2) Cooling (AC) is all over the place - gates towards 8/9 can be a little cooler. Gates elsewhere can be quite hot. Man mastered cooling decades ago; not entirely sure why so difficult here at Bali Ngurah Rai.
a nice airy and open airport. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised. plenty of places to eat and shop. near the gates are plenty of places to charge your devices. free wifi with no time restrictions too.
Good architecture have all the accommodation needed for the tourist.
One of the busiest aiport in Indonesia. So many flights, both domestic and international. The aiport is very clean and smells nice of fresh flower! Ground handling staff are helpful.
No air-conditioning in an international airport...???
Prices are absurd for most food and drink. Souvenirs are a joke.
Taxis outside are utterly obnoxious. You can't even walk from one terminal to another without being mercilessly stalked by cab drivers. The prices suck as well.
WiFi sucks.
Clearing customs on arrival is a nightmare. Yup, love standing for almost 2 hours after a 7-hour flight from garbage AirAsia.
This airport is a beautiful place. Environment is good. And nice arrangements also.
Domestic flights are starting to increase from before.
TrolleyMan number 94 and 42 they both have no attitude at all. They both accidentally hit other people and my sit with the trolley and they didn't even say sorry.
DPS. There is a domestic departure terminal and an international departure terminal and arrival terminal which are combined.
Free public wifi.
There is a lot of food. By by and heavy food.
Beach view on plane landing path.
Hopefully you can vacation here again later.
Independent Chekin is still in the process of being developed
Hopefully Bali will be safe
Nice convenient and passenger friendly Airport. Immigration is a breeze. The airport retailing is managed by the GVK Group of India and has brought global excellence to this Airport.
It's comfortable, clean and the staff is friendly. I love Bali
Why is international airport hot? Usually entering the airport immediately cool, it's hot and sweaty
you'll easily feel you're already in bali upon arrival at the airport
So big, clean, cozy, and you can get the best view.
helped us find out lost luggage, the customer service and personal were super helpful. The WIFI in the airport was efficient and fast all, which is always good for any airport
Really good airport. It's new, everything works and from my experience there is almost no waiting. There is also satisfying number of shops and restaurants in the duty free area.
Plan a lot of time when you need to change vom international to domestik. Minimum 2h
Beautiful architectural design. The welcome sign is also unique. The last paradise in the world.
Stop by launge Garuda ,, the most complete and varied food menu
I LOVE BALI!! - we will try to make the trip every year
Amazing place to visit and this airport is the first step to the journey, they let you know it as soon as you walk out of the gates
also, my first introduction to a bum gun
The WORST airport ever!!! When we were going through security check, airport personnel stopped us and said we can not carry our selfie stick. ??? I asked for the proof that the selfie stick is included in the prohibited item list, he said that they have different policies than other countries and it is written in Indonesian. Wow... Really..
I had to go out of security area and go back to the airline counter and airline found my luggage and put my selfie stick in the checked bag. It took almost an hour.
While we were waiting for the bag, few dozen people had to throw their selfie stick in the trash because they didn't have enough time to go back to the counter, including Gopro tripod.
Simple explanation from ticket counter would have saved us from all this trouble.
Intresting departure procedure. You can buy for the same prices souvenirs, luwak coffee, sweets. If you pay you can get porter for yours baggage
Immigration was a nightmare. Arriving after a lovely flight in business class to end up in chaotic immigration line. IT problems do not justify mismanagement and poor communication. They were incapable of handling this situation that started to turn nasty very soon. Immigration has never been good here but this was the worst. My hands are hurting. People were getting very angry and unpleasant. Very dangerous situation.
Clean tidy good shops for shopping some restaurants a bit overpriced smoking area with a view of the runway start to notice there arrival area very easy departure area very good
Incoming flight:
As we walked towards immigration a guy with a black leather jacket met us at the back of the line and asked if we wanted "express pass" we declined the offer but some people took the offer for $50 AUD he took them away and I assume got the through. After immigration, walking through the airport to get to the exit, my sons counted we were asked 43 times if we wanted a taxi - this is too much guys, very stressful.
Outgoing flight:
I read reviews before coming in that there was no seating once you entered through the doors A,B,C,D,E (If you go through prior to 3 hours before your flight, you can't check in) we managed to find some (about 30 seats) at the far end of E. Once checked in, there are many shops, places for food and lots of seating, this is the better part of the airport, if it was not for the incoming flight section letting the airport down I would give 5 stars for this section.
Very organised and efficient. The x-ray machines are super systemized as well. Clears crowds fast. Good job.
The airport is designed such, you walk the maximum possible distance across the shopping area. The GATE changes are sure for at least 50 % of departures. Be in time at least 3 hrs before your departure & always expect big queues in this tiny but busy airport due to heavy tourist movement.
Quite ok Airport to travel to.
Staff is extremely helpfull
Airside is rather small for the ammount of passengers they have and you have the feeling that they used more Landside/ Check in space than airside.
Nonetheless a well functioning airport.
BR
The rapid test service does not meet standard protocols
The airport is clean, the service is also very satisfying here
Clean and spacious. Great Bali souvenir gift shops. Buy your sarongs and such here. Cheaper and no haggling required.
Both the demestic and international terminals here are good. Toilets are clean and plenty of seating to wait at. All round both terminals are rather good.
The taxi drivers and tour operators here are SUPER ANNOYING. They try to catch you whenever you walk.
Talking about the facility and view, the airport is one of my favorites. Beautiful view for take off and landing.
It's not comfortable
During the corona pandemic season
Smoking area is nice to see the plane from above and the beach view is also nice
In internatioal, there have been many changes, maybe for smoking the area on the inter, less in humans, because there are so many hot spots and if the leak is also received at international arrivals
Airport display is getting better. The renovation process at the Domestic exit lane is 90% complete.
Clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. Compact but not claustrophobic with ample seating with a good selection of shops and restaurants.
Toilet inter lt. 3 for employees, smells, many are damaged, the water from the washing tap often dies. Only one active one, the savings are yes, but that does not mean there is only 1 left, but not taken care of because there are no passengers. During the Covid period, we humans who work also want to keep our health. Already looking for the same toilet to come out on the 3rd floor, you have to go around to go through Avsec again , even though it is the toilet right next to the inspection, you have to go out first, then check again with Avsec.
Good infrastructure and looking real international airport. Feel comfortable inside
A paradise airport for smokers there is a free smooking area above. Good
The airport is clean and well maintained. Baggage collection is also fast. If you want to take a taxi there is an official booth. Newly constructed parking lot building because the old parking lot can not accommodate anymore during high season. Available lounge for members of Garudamiles Gold and above and certain credit card holders.
So difficult to reach, looks all the operator so busy or you guys only have 1 person in charged for your phone operator? PLEASE FIX IT!! GIVE YOUR BEST SERVICE TO US DUE WE PAID YOU BY PAYING TAXES AND BLA BLA BLA
Extraordinary design with a breathtaking location.. Feels like landing on the sea.. Amazing experience
The airport is quite good and is being renovated, hopefully it will be better, it's just that from the airport to the motorbike parking, it is quite far from the airport or from the parking lot, it is quite far if you walk, especially if you go from / to the departure terminal about 5-10 minutes walk
Great service, all friendly people ... Sanata Dharma University is welcomed
Prepare for relentless cabbies to hassle and scam you on arrival
Nice new airport, clean, sufficient number of shops, place to smoke without going out
A small airport (only 10 gates or so) but quite busy, same as the traffic of this island. Many visitors comming on and off but everybody is served by so many shops, restaurants inside. Lots of sourvenirs to buy, imported as well as locally produced. The walk to gates in organized in such a way that you will travel quite a lot, passing by many temptations. Rush to buy is very obvious.
Enjoying their internet connection while waiting to depart
Terrible experiences here, I am never coming back to Bali! They have a "transit" section, but you actually cannot transit here! It's only for show! You must leave the airport (usually takes ~2 hours to get through immigration), pay the entry tax ($25), come right back into the airport and pray you haven't missed your flight because of how long immigration took, then pay the exit tax (~$13). The inside of the airport is dark and dirty, with few places to sit. Some parts also smell funny. Security to get to your gate is often slow and causes flight delays. I am definitely never coming back to Bali!
Needs management to organise from baggage to taxis.
Hours waiting by bagage dropoff! Then huriing to get the fligt. Wherefor...to dat to get boarding. Wat a mess.
The food in there are very expensive , strongly recommend eat before you go there. Not bad for a small airport like this, very busy !
Immigration control took 2 hours. Officers are talking to each other instead of doing their job.
As on the streets, many people cut the line to be faster. They've got a bad karma. Hopefully this doesn't revenge.
Taxi drivers on the outside are harassing. I recommend using an uber, much cheaper, more friendly and cleaner than taxi. Conviction by quality!
Ngurah Rai International Airport is one of the airports with super professional services in Indonesia. Airport cleanliness is always maintained properly so as to create comfort for passing users. In addition, the implementation and implementation of the Health Protocol when entering Bali was also carried out very well. Checking all travel administrations including the results of Covid 19 in the data is very good using the e-Hac application system which aims to detect visitors who may be infected with a dangerous virus, especially Covid 19 that is happening in the community today.
Today this airport is more beautiful. Many flowers stand up everywhere in every corner of this airport.
Customs went trough nice and easy, we did go through security 3 times though, and even at the departure gate, they check each bag individually again, with yet another queue. There are two lounges for Priority Pass users to relax before departure.
The new design looks very futuristic and left behind the cultural profile of airport
Bandaranyang is quite busy. Yesterday, during the pandemic, it seemed like the number of foreign visitors had drastically decreased, maybe because there was a ban on entry or something. The lounge here is comfortable and quite spacy.
well managed and clean airport.its not a big airport but its really very beautiful as its situated near sea beach.its really look awesome when u fly in morning or in evening.u also find nice local food and coffee (you should try once atleast).Staff is always ready to help and tacking care of your needs. All the basic facilities are available like pure drinking wate, clean wash room and many more.i didn't find free WI-FI here.
Small and well-organized airport .. Too many cafes and restaurants .. Free Wi-Fi .. Compared to its small size, it has quite good duty-free shops !!
