Waiting at the conveyer belt for the last 1 hour. The luggage is not sight, not just for me but for everybody. We arrived from Bangkok to Bali on 19th Jun at around 255pm. It just sucks

I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport or commonly called Ngurah Rai is the only airport on the island of Bali. This airport is very majestic and has good views. The drawback is that transportation to / from this airport is very congested. Hopefully the manager has a solution for better convenience.

Easy to navigate, since plenty of helpful sign direction are installed abundantly. Big monitors for monitoring flight schedule and gate are pretty a lot too.
Prepare your shoes, you could walk up to 15 mins whenever you move to domestic to international terminal, vice versa. Or find the not-so-many buggy cars, free of charge. Plenty of restaurants, cafe, and shops.

Today, due to plenty of time, the rough eyebrows finally got a chance to visit the Bali airport. However, they found that the Bali airport was much larger than the thick eyebrows imagined, and they could shoot Chek Lap Kok.
Although it is a shop in the waiting room, but the price is reasonable, it is an ideal place for buyers.
After years of eating chocolate in Yogyakarta years ago, the thick eyebrows were finally found, and they naturally swept the goods.

DPS international airport is a big airport. It's very nice, modern with some traditional details

Waiting waiting... everywhere waiting. Non-efficient 2 hrs waiting for luggage and not the first time. Travel monthly. The checks everywhere then the taxi mob then the traffic. Hopeless...

gave me a real shopping mall experience , should have come earlier to spend more time . Didn't , because arrival was so boring and time-consuming at immigration desk. Going home you get to see a hole different airport .

The airport is cool, clean, and very orderly, let alone the view, it's very photogenic, and going to Ngurah Rai International Airport this toll road passes through the toll road at sea level, so it's cool after all, good.

Perhaps this is the best airport in Indonesia, with high service standard. Everything is great, the facilities and attendants are satisfying. Never had bad experience when visiting or just transit. Really one of the busiest airport, hope they keep the good maintenance.

Not too big but clean with nice Balinese decoration. The porter was kind and polite. My baggage is arrive safely. It has wheelchair service so it's perfect for my grandmother. Like the butterfly street though. It's my second time visit this airport and my third time visit Bali. Welcome to the paradise!

This airport was so big as you know this is international airport. There was so many entertainment spot to kill your time (if you have delayed). Super clean in every corner. The bathroom and the staffs were very good and nice. There were so many restaurant to fill your stomach. I love it.

Check in officers were really rude idiots and was just waiting and waiting for our luggages.......

Came to the airport sick and with vomiting sensation. I was able to manage easily with helpful staff in and around. The airport has good Ambience as well and could accommodate too many people without seeming crowded.

Because if you take an ojol car or taxi from the airport it is quite expensive (especially if it's late) so yesterday it was just a motorbike in the airport parking area. In addition to riding a motorcycle can break through traffic, it is also quite cost-saving really. 1 week 'stay' parking didn't reach 100 thousand. Compared to taxi / ojol to denpasar area, it can be almost 300 thousand rupiahs. The disadvantage is that you can't carry too much stuff, not to mention if it's raining. But you can try if you want to save :)

Worst ever organized modern airport. This airport is a reason not to come to Bali. Had a flight with Qatar. First you queue for an hour to check in, although all counters are open. You see the special online check-in queue only after being in the wrong queue for half an hour. Then comes the security check which goes quickly and leaves you optimistic... Until you come to the immigration hall which is a total chaos with thousands of people floating in from different entrances where you queue at least for another hour. AC air stream is directly on you so that you must get sick. Once you made it through this ordeal knowing that your flight is already boarding, you can't get directly to the gate but are forced through an endlessly meandering shopping mall, trying to lure even more dollars out of your wallet. I absolutely hated it.

Nice and friendly staffs. Airport is so clean even the toilet.

Ngurah Rai International Air or also called I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport is an international airport located in the south of Bali, Indonesia, precisely in the area of Tuban Village, Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali, about 13 km from Denpasar.

I came to realise that the waiting room here at Ngurah Rai is not as big as Soekarno-Hatta's. Not so many seats available but the airport has various and spacious restaurants where you can sit and eat.

The major international airport that I think is the most artistic in Indonesia. There is a gate that became an icon of Bali. The atmosphere is comfortable and safe. There are many restaurants in it. There is a prayer room for those who want to pray, toilets and comfortable seats. Pokonya cool.

Please pay attention to pedestrians who ride motorbikes, sir. Every rainy weather dri the motorbike parking to the inter or domestic we get wet sir. Please fill the pedestrian roof to the inter and domestic.

I took a taxi to Bluebird and met at the departure hall on the 3rd floor. Estimated rate of 30K-31K arrived, but when you arrive at 35K, suddenly you press any button, it becomes 41K. The other taxi apps are almost similar to the estimated rates. Suddenly, when asked, I suddenly panicked and told me 35K. I asked him to give me a little explanation of what the sponsor is, but I was also confused by myself and then asked for 30K. I can honestly say that I can give you more than a thousand won in Korea.

Had to queue in the immigration line for about an hour from 3pm Sunday and queue for customs which was a first. There were queues for money exchangers as well. WiFi was choppy.

Beware of the taxi drivers who use the intimidation tactic to persuade you into getting an expensive taxi. They won't take no for an answer and keep following you until you cross the road or something.
Once you're out of the airport it's quite nice and people don't see you as a walking ATM machine!

The place is nice and comfortable, the vehicle parking area is also spacious. Friendly service

It has been twice this airport, the first in 2010, the airport was still small. The second, February last year and it turned out to have changed greatly. The airport is much wider, good with Balinese style of course and lots of spots for photos. Cool

This airport is way too hungry for money by corrupted Politicians, ex- soldiers and government servants unlike Jakarta airports, you can choose any taxis you like for your ride while the corrupted ones here dominates and charges one price and it's twice as expensive of the original or supposed to be prices. The other airport like this is Surabaya Juanda and other cities except the capital. Needs a chAnge!

The worst airport i've seen after having travelled the whole south/east Asia. Had to wait more than 3 hours to pass the customs while arriving, because of lack of efficiency. Staff tried to trap you in return of tips at security control while leaving, what a shame for such a touristic place! Will never ever come back!

Its a nice airport of Bali, Indonesia. They have friendly employ, customs service and cru. Its near from all main point of Bali. They have nice interior outfit and inside decoration. Here all international options for disabled and wheel chair accessible option. But they have language problem with English.

When you get off the plane and enter the terminal, you seem to have come to a very big ballroom of a five star hotel. But as if this hotel was built 30-40 years ago :) You pass a big hall until you reach the passport section. As we get out of the luggage area and walk towards the taxis, we say that we have come to a beautiful place with a big and magnificent sea picture on the wall and the words Welcome to Bali written on it.
Try the Uber with the taxiler problematic, half the difference. Uber is not entirely legal, I think they are working with some hidden covers, but they are better than tax I think

This airport has expanded since the last time I went. Very clean and well managed.

Guards check your passport before you can claim your tickets. Makes it difficult to exit even though you have to be there really early. Otherwise clean and many touts. Download grabcar instead before heading out for a quote.

I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is now wider and more complete. Clean and lots of Balinese ornaments. Culinary and shopping tenants offer more choices. Boarding Gates are spacious and comfortable, you can see the plane at the same time, but at the same time near places to eat and shopping. Nice

Ngurah Rai Airport was built in 1930 by the Department of Voor Verkeer en Waterstaats (a kind of Department of Public Works). The runway is in the form of 700 m of waterstrip from the grass in the middle of the field and the cemetery in the village of Tuban. Because of its location in the village of Tuban, the surrounding community named this airstrip as Tuban airport. In 1935 it was equipped with telegraph equipment and KNILM (Koninklijke Nederlands Indische Luchtvaar Maatschappij) or Royal Netherlands Indies Airways landed routinely in South Bali (South Bali), which is another name for Tuban Airport.
In 1942 the South Bali Airstrip was bombed by the Japanese Army, which was then seized to land their warplanes and transport aircraft. Airstrip damaged by bombing was repaired by the Japanese Army using Pear Still Plate (steel plate system).
The next five years 1942-1947, airstrip experienced changes. The length of the runway to 1.2 km from the original 700 m. In 1949 a simple terminal building and aviation control tower were made of wood. Flight communication uses Morse code transceivers.

The beach reclamation process of 1.5 km is carried out by taking limestone material from Ungasan and river stones and sand from the Antosari River - Tabanan.
Following the completion of the temporary terminal and runway at the Tuban Airport Project, the government inaugurated international flight services at Tuban Airport on August 10, 1966.
