Avi Resort Review

Went to a concert there and always enjoy the Thursday buffet, 2 for one price all day.

It was pretty quiet there but they were friendly! It's very sad what covid -19 has done to these business!

I love that there's a movie theater. Just to far from anything

Has a variety of machines and good customer service.

Great place to play and stay. Frank the VIP host takes care of everything!

Great experince! Few fast food places in there near the pool. They even have a theater! Affordable price! One star taken away because of room cleaning service I stayed four days and they never came in to clean and bring new toilet paper.

A nice place to stay in the middle of a road trip. Suprignly the hotel is nice, the smell of smoke is not too bad, and the rooms are clean and comfy.

More than anything is the service and staff. Check in was super fast, and everyone is pleasant and nice. After we left we got a phone call from guest serivces that we forgot one of my kids stuffed animal. I was sure we'll just buy him a new one. But, they shipped it to my home, and it arrived a few days later. this is how you do customer service - the times you go a little beyond expectations...

I go gambling here when I'm in town. The employees are very helpful and nice and the place is clean.

Just regular older casino style hotel resort rooms. NO other amenities are available at this time (covid) Beach area, fitness, restaurant buffet massage were all CLOSE. Young lady in the very limited gift shop is sweet and helpful. The front desk staff and night crew housekeeping are awesome, which is why I gave a three instead of 2star.

Had a good time with the family, can't wait to go back in November

Not very clean. Variety of machines lacking. Cash out machines not working.

Beach for boating is nice but no cell service in the casino without logging on to the casinos wifi was an annoyance. $10 a day for a beat up fridge wasn't cool either. May or may not stay there again.

Getting too crowded. Small pool with a lot of kids running around.

I spent my hard earned money to take a vacation at this place. What a waste of time and money! Staying at the koa we had issues with the water and electricity going out. The wifi is terrible, you can't load anything. May as well not advertise having it. The gym had broken, old equiptment. On top of all of this we were kicked out of the pool for no good reason. Outrageous! We will never ever come back to this scum watering hole again!

Nice casino by river and they have movie theater, kids friendly.

This place is so outdated and filled with tweakers after 9PM

Best experience you can have on the river. No drama just drinks and sun. Oh and some great gambling.

Racist Indians with tight slot machines. No fun unless you like losing and looked upon as inferior..

I always go for the brunch/buffet. Bottomless mimosas, fresh made omlettesand/or crepes, escargot and king crab legs! You can't go wrong!

Clean rooms. They allow children in the Hot tub which was really crappy because at night ALL of the kids were in there splashing and adults couldn't even get in.

Very convenient to be right next to the casino with restaurants and multi screen movie theater. Great prices too. Will definitely make this a regular stop.

Love the private beach and not as crowded as i thought it would be.

Horrible customer service, old stinky dirty room. We had mold on our bathroom faucet, ripped and stained sheets. The room smelt like really bad body odor. When we asked for a different room they told us we would have to pay $40 more a night. Harrah's is cheaper and way better quality. Pool looked nice but tiles were falling off and there was bird poop on evwruthing.Don't stay here!

THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE. ITS JACUZZI IS TO DIE FOR... THE POOLS ARE GORGEOUS AND CASINO IS PERFECT CLEAN AND ATTRAXTIVE

The service here was very great and the rooms were very clean. The food there was delicious and I was able to cool down at the pool and river

I only use the boat ramp. That cost $20. I thought that was expensive.

A long walk to the movie theaters. But clean and well kept

Casino area pleasant and entertaining. Cafe food not very good and ice tea water awful.

Pretty good around these parts. Probably one of the best. Large. Has many slots and variety of games. Movie theater is nice and clean.

Wonderful Christmas dinner. Great wait staff, prompt service....

My family and I have been going here for years. Usually for the 4th of July. We have our family reunion/trip every summer.

The staff are always friendly!

The rooms are big and spacious.

Great views of the pool and river if you're in the back towers.

The casino and theatre are always fun.

The pool area offers lots of seating and there's a bar there too!

The river is literally behind the hotel. Within walking distance.

Never played at the AVI but the smoke shop has a carton of cigarettes for less than 30 bucks and Pancho Villa has truly authentic Mexican food

Very nice casino, very clean, plenty of staff around to keep things sanitized.

Staying at the RV PARK. Fire alarm going off during the movie was not good. Golf carts to the casino in the cold not good. Everything else is good.

At first they gave us a room that did not fit what we order but the problem was fixed as quick as it was made

We stayed in the RV park with full hookups and it was pretty great good

All there table games were closed. Very sad place. It is obvious they don't want my business. This will need to be improved for me to visit here again.

All employees that I encountered were very pleasant

Loved the setup, it's well thought out. If you are traveling with family, you can park with your doors facing together. Very reasonable rates. A little dusty but it is the desert.

We have friends that "dry camp" there. The AVI also has a"full hook-up" camping area, a golf course,hotel, casino, gift store,restaurants, movie theater, convenience store/gas station,and a nice, sandy beach right there on the Colorado River! They also host Classic Car shows and put on an AMAZING fireworks show on the 4th of July! It's a Tribal Enterprise and we've always enjoyed time spent there. Hopefully I didn't leave anything out!

We come here a few times a year when we go to Laughlin. We like this place, although it is not located on the Laughlin main strip with the other hotel/casinos. Normally the place is teeming with an older crowd (over 60) so our teenagers do not like the place. There is a really, REALLY great Italian restaurant in the casino area. The place also has their own beach along the Colorado River. We always get a suite on the 6th floor overlooking the river and their man made beach as these are the best rooms in the place. They also have an auditorium and throw concerts there. Rooms are usually $50 or less, depending on demand and whatever performers they have appearing.

The best hotel ever , super great service ,lovely people and clean rooms. The cleaning ladies will clean everyday and come back if need be if you are asleep. One of the best hotels I've stayed at

I wanted to play my ps4 but I couldn't because the tv's are locked in to the cable but other then that it's pretty good

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Good food and good service. Our view from the 5th floor of the beach tower will bri ng us back again.

Great place. Had lots of places to eat. Great pool. Fun slot machines. Nice employees.

Not the best place to post up if you have PWCs.

Sank a jet ski out in front of this place due to low tide being really bad here.

Other than that I don't have anything to say about the place overall, other than mediocre and to take it or leave it.

I am not sure how you could improve the experience. There are just certain places that lack the flair, pizzazz, and overall ambiance I am looking for. The experience from food, to the location, to the room, was simply lacking.

Nice casino, views of the river fantastic. Would be a 5 but the restaurant wasn't great, food or service. Rooms are very nice, comfortable, clean.

Loved the MMA fights tonight they were great, also loved the casino.
