You might not find better beer in the country or world. That's not to be hyperbolic - from top to bottom of the beer list everything is amazing. The versatility offers great ales, sours, stouts, and many barrel aged options. The gravity on some of the beers is well above 10% so keep an eye on what you order. Highly recommend getting small pours of a variety of beers to get a more full experience. The food options are also great. The barbeque is very good and there are vegetarian options for herbivores. A little out of the way but it would be the biggest miss if you are in the Denver area. Dogs are welcome on the outdoor area.

Beer was fantastic. I tried the Avery lager and the grapefruit shandy. Surprisingly the shandy was not too sweet and not too tart. Just perfect. The food was fantastic for a brewery. Definitely going back when we have the chance.

Beautiful facility! Many areas to hang out and enjoy their publicly sold beers, but also quite a few special brewery only options. We enjoyed everything we tried - they have something to fit almost any beer palate. They offer tours at 4p daily or you can go on a self-guided on at your leisure. Many food options if you're hungry. The outdoor patio is dog-friendly with lots of space to relax. A nice store setup to purchase your favorite Avery apparel.

The food, and the beer, here have always been excellent! The beer is varied, with delicious pours for everyone's tastes. The food is incredibly delicious, reasonably priced, and as long as you stay away from seafood dishes, very generous in size. However, what really sets Avery apart is their bartenders, who are jovial, eager to help, and very knowledgeable. One of our favorite places!

Colorado culture has this big emphasis on going to breweries. I appreciate the fresh tasty beer and all, but they are way overpriced and Avery is a perfect example of this. Shouldn't the beer be cheaper at the actual source? Shouldn't the brewery be rewarding the patronage of their local crowd with appropriate prices? The Avery beer was good but overall its kind of expensive and boring. If the brewery scene is your thing, then ok, but I'll pass next time. I'd rather sit in a park with a brown bag and some friends.

These 2 stars are for the service. I visit breweries to try the beer, and if Im hungry..eat... The IPAs here were all bland. Nothing stood out. Please Colorado..you can't call it a Hazy if you can see through it. I feel like these larger breweries have such a large customer base that they gave up on quality vs quantity. It was meh. What can I say..

Avery is one of my favorite breweries, and their selection is incredible. The food is also great, comfort food done with a chic/modern twist. Only knock is that this place is always slammed after 3PM, definitely need a reservation.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The beer selection and quality is amazing, the food is outstanding and the outdoor area is perfect for dog owners. Yea, it's a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for and you are paying for high quality food and beer.

We have taken a lot of our out of town visitors to Avery but we will be searching for a new place to show off Colorado s brewery culture. The beer is excellent but the staff have become increasingly rude over the last two years. The atmosphere has become pretentious; it was really unpleasant interacting with the staff. I get it, they re a busy touristy brewery so they don t necessarily have to care about creating repeat customers, but the staff were just rude during our last visit from the host, to the bartender, to the person checking in on our table. I didn t feel as comfortable or relaxed here as I have in the past. I really wanted to just get a beer and get out because we felt unwelcome. I even felt like I had to apologize to our friends who were visiting for subjecting them to that environment.

By far the best brewery in Colorado! Love the barrel aged pumpkin ale too!

Food is great, beer is perfect, the people are outright fun to be around. We'll be back on the next visit to Colorado!

A little disappointed they don t do an industry discount... I run a Liquor store and carry a ton of Avery beers supporting the brand, but when you go there you get no discount. I wanted to buy a shirt to wear to the store, because I like supporting breweries. but after that I lost a little respect and said forget it.

High end food at a great brewery. Beautiful new facility. Not 5 stars is that food is pretty pricey (but good) and they need to add more room because it's always packed. Make a reservation, potentially weeks in advance.

I'm a truck driver that was going to pick up a bunch of their beer and take it out to California in the morning so I stopped in here at night to get some dinner. The dinner was exceptional and the raspberry sour beer is quite amazing. The wait staff was extremely helpful if I'm ever in the area again I will return here highly highly recommended

One of my favorite breweries and always a stop when I am in Boulder. Service always top notch and their selection of beers is awesome. The Rumpkin is great and plenty of Stouts to choose from. Very disappointed that Avery is hard to find, if at all, on the east coast.

This is the an awesome brewery. They have good food and beer. Arguably this is one of best breweries in Colorado and Boulder. You can even take a tour around the brewery which is kind a cool. Whenever I visit there it has always been crowded. You can even organize parties like events there too.

The awesomest!! They can fill growlers, but not all because it has to fit their machine fyi. Best Bread Pudding ever!!! Just have that for dinner it is amazing. I take my break pudding serious. They currently ha e a beer called trogdar! Yes the burnanator. So hmmmm, who can beat that?

Amazing Brewery/Restaurant. Seems like they had 100+ beers on tap but that's probably an overestimation. All their beers are great, and their appetizers are the best in the area. I also liked how you could do a "self-tour" of the brewery on their catwalk over the production floor.

The people make the experience. This was my first visit to Avery Brewing and it exceeded my expectations. I knew the beer was good, but the people were amazing. The bartenders took the time to break down their beers, explaining the intricacies behind the making of the beer. Which, as a beer nerd, was awesome for me. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves beer and a good beer experience.

OK, so here's the deal. If you are in Colorado and you have time to visit only one brewery, this is the one people. THIS IS THE ONE! HUGE beer selection and every single one is good. And the range...there is seriously something for everyone. But tread lightly...a lot of the beers are big (very BIG); so if you want to have a taste of everything, there is a hotel right down the street . Grab a brew, wander around the brewing area, and don't forget to grab some pretty darn amazing food as well. If you're really into beer, fun atmosphere, and good food, plan to spend quite a bit of time here. Don't miss it! Cheers!

Really good tap room specials here that are all worth trying, for brews you won't find at the store or bars. Can get crowded on weekends, so come early if you have a large group and want a table. They have some great BBQ and meals as well.

Total impromptu stop on my last night in Boulder, and what a treat! Every staff member was super pleasant and seemed to really enjoy working there. The beer itself is some of the best I've ever had (The Mayan Goddess and the Chai Brown!) The self-guided tour over the brewing room(s) was a super cool added feature. Overall a great brand and a great product.

Top notch beer and food and super dog friendly. Will definitely be back! There's also an amazing dog park across the street and the people there are super awesome as well. Oh did I mention the beer is amazing!?

Little prejudice here, but don't like their big campus. Feels too corporate and the long waits for tables don't help. I like their beers, especially the Kaiser, but their food doesn't do justice.

We had been looking forward to trying out a variety of different brews and maybe an appetizer and found ourselves disgusted by the pretentious pricing. Food that was recommended by the service was less than poor quality. The brews were different and worth a try because they were interesting but underwhelming. The pricing is bizarre, who would have thought going to the source could be so costly. Seeing a six pack at the store only brings back bad memories.

Alright late-night spot to grab food in the area. We came here because we needed dinner after hiking all day. Food is good but beers leave something to be desired (though I did enjoy their raspberry sour). Friendly staff and lots of space to chill, but there were a lot of flies while we were there.

Get the green chili and the pretzel if you go.

Awesome selections of beers on tap, something for everyone. Set up to encourage tasting a bunch of different beers, which is really fun :). Food was also a good selection of tasty bar food and fusioney dishes, good for sharing.

Avery blew me away. I've lived in Colorado two years and was only familiar with White Rascal. After visiting the Boulder brewery I'm in love! It's in a beautiful location, the building design is fresh, the food is creative and absolutely amazing, and the beer is out of this world. On top of that, we got multiple free tasters from friendly staff. It's a little pricey, but definitely a treat.

I brew my own beer, and Avery brewing gives me something to strive for. We went on the 1hr tour which was very informative, even for someone who brews their own beer.
The food was great (I had the nachos and ribs to share) and the beer was amazing. Samael was the best and the bourbon barrel was great as well as the Beast.
I want to come back every time I go to Boulder!

This is a must-go-to brewery in Boulder, Colorado. Avery has a courteous and knowledgable staff. They are working hard toward sustainability and I dig it. They are engaging. I left a comment card and they sent me a handwritten card thanking me and encouraging me to come back to have the raspberry sour.

There are several places to sit so you can pick your atmosphere.

You can walk around the back of the house and see all the equipment. You see the brew process. They are humble. Check out the fridge and see what they have in bottles to take home.

The food is worth it to eat and pairs well with a hearty beer list. One time, we asked how the beets were prepared and the chef came out and spoke with us about it. Now, we will never make beets the way we used to. He noted that he wants to bring on more vegan or vegetarian options which is cool. Avery has the meats so it's awesome to hear they want to offset it.

Try the chili and make sure to sit in the chair.

Great burgers, the salad we shared was huge and all healthy, the cheese tray app was amazing, the deviled eggs were tasty, and all of us enjoyed different brews. Many waiters and waitresses to serve the crowd. Dogs are also welcome to also sit at the outside patio. This is a super cute place with good music and all friendly people out to enjoy conversation. So glad we were asked to check this place out.

Chris was an awesome bartender! Just go right up to the top, sit down and if you see Chris, you will be guaranteed a great time here at Avery. Beers are on point and the pint glasses are not expensive to purchase. Thank you Chris for a great experience!!

If give them 10 stars if Google allowed it. They are a big brewer now that doesn t feel like a big brewer. It s a laid back vibe all over. There are 30 taps here with a eclectic line up from IPAs to stouts and barrel aged sours. The service is excellent and there is outdoor seating in nice weather days. Michelle was our bartender and she was very knowledgeable and super friendly. The food is excellent - yes I had to get the fried chicken. It was a half bird portion that was too much to finish. The pretzel is made by a friend of the brewery and are some of the best and most authentic you ll find. I could eat them all day. All in all this place should be a destination for beer geeks.

Avery was our best Colorado Brewery experience to date! The beer speaks for itself, but the service was outstanding. August was our bartender and he really made it special as we were there celebrating a birthday. The self guided tour is excellent, not many breweries give you the freedom to see their production hassle free. Additionally, their BBQ was delicious, being from KC we were skeptical, but it was note worthy. Loved it, cant wait to go back.
