Went with my two boys and our dog to sit outside and eat. Ordered two angry clucker chicken sandwiches and one regular chicken sandwich. We had garlic fries, green chili and coleslaw for sides. All the food was very tasty / excellent/ well crafted. There was a snafu with the order not getting put through and we had a very long wait. As soon as the server realized there was a problem and management was notified, we were taken care of in the most responsible way by the restaurant. Bottom line: great food!

I absolutely love Avery. They have wonderful beer, food, and people! Nothing but good things to say on my end. The staff are always wonderfully nice, and educated on everything they serve. I always have great beer here, and the food has never let me down! I definitely recommend taking a trip here.

Been here 4 times. Most recently on 4/2. Staff failed to it ignite propane patio heaters. At one point the case for the heater was opened by a server/staffer and he let the whole assembly crash down without explanation or apology. Was told not to fiddle with patio heater 'due to liability issues.' this could have been discussed before seating. Our cheese plate came out without utensils and no bread. Staffers seemed more interested in getting guests the hell off premises than service. Gumbo ordered arrived 30 minutes after ordering. My party felt unwelcome and obtrusive. We spent over $100 to be treated as intruders. I will not be recommending this brewery to others.

We went to a lot of brewing companies this one was by far the most impressive. It was huge. We didn t get to go on a guided tour but we were able to free roam around. The beer is good not insanely good but decent. We had a great time here

We love this brewery so much AND their delicious beers that we named our daughter after them (well not really...but also maybe) They have a great location, awesome staff, delicious food, and obviously amazing beers! Whenever we're in Boulder, we make our way over to visit Avery.

Avery has to be one of my top 5 breweries anywhere. I make it a point to swing by anytime that I am in town. Staff is always friendly, the bar has a ton of taps, several that are brewery only, and food is pretty tasty. Avery s stouts and sour line have to be some of the best available.
I usually snag a few bottles to go just to make sure friends in Tulsa can try some.

Beer was good, but food choices were limited and boring. I had the chicken thighs, prepared like chicken wings - for no good reason, I think - and they were dry and smelly, rubbery. Typical old, frozen chicken meat, thawed in a rush and theown in the fryer. I had to send it back.
I am not looking forward to going back to this place anytime soon.

My boyfriend and I made a special trip all the way to Avery from Virginia. We walked in and were very impressed with the place, until the bartender refused to serve anymore drinks. So, FYI Avery does last call extra early on Sundays, and if you don't make it, they will laugh in your face and pretty much say too bad. Even though there were about 20 people seated around the bar with full glasses... seriously... what the hell Avery?!

A casual setting of high top tables inside with table service, a large selection of craft beers and a small menu of grub, i.e. Salads, fish & chips, chix sandwich, salmon sandwich, etc. The service was very good when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. There is outside seating which is dog friendly. A interesting note they EV chargers for Tesla and others.

Perfect lunch spot after a hike nearby. Dog friendly, lots of COVID safety measures, super nice staff, great beer and awesome food. We had the fish and chips - and my British boyfriend, aka fish n chip expert, thought it was some of the best we ve had in America!

Obviously people come for the beer , service was horrible! I asked for a glass of water and was told get it yourself?

Absolutely fantastic! So... I need to start this with saying, there is a beer these guys make that absolutely blew my mind! I've been to a lot of places and have drank LOTS o'beer, but this one beer has to be the best tasting beer I've ever had! It's called Sweater Party. It's indescribably good. You HAVE to try it. That said, I stopped by as an out of towner, looking for a brewery to grab a drink and hang out. Well, I showed up just before the brewery tour, and out of all the tours I've done across the country, this one was top notch. Avery has a great setup. Jesse (hope I spelled that right) the tour guide, was super fun to listen too regarding the brewing process. Definitely into it! He answered all my questions and you get to have samplers along the way! I can't comment on any food items, but I also had the Fall Day IPA prior to the Sweater Party and it was great too! The brewery and staff are great and I highly recommend stopping by!

We absolutely loved our trip to Avery. We made a reservation so we were seated in the restaurant as soon as we got in. Drink service was super quick; they took orders on an iphone so the orders were sent to the bar immediately. Our first beers arrived almost a minute after the waitress left our table. The beers were fantastic. I had the Apricot Sour and El Gose which were both great. The Apricot Sour was something else though, I ended buying a bottle from the gift shop because I liked it so much. The food was outstanding. We ordered a pretzel and croquettes to start. The best pretzel I've ever had, warm and chewy with the right amount of salt. For mains I ordered the meat x3. I love BBQ and have tried lots of different ribs, but the ribs here were in the top 2 I've ever had. So so so tender and very little amount of bone. You can absolutely tell they had been sitting in a smoker for a while. The pulled pork and sausage were fantastic as well. Everyone in my group thought this place was great and for me it was one of the best meals I've had in years and I'm absolutely not hyperbolizing. Thank you so much Avery, it was a real highlight of our trip to Boulder!

My only complaint is that we had a party of five and we're seated at a table for four that they brought an extra chair to. We had a bunch of beer and plates on our table so things got a bit crowded but that is the only thing that wasn't great. The waiters all were very good about clearing empty glasses and plates despite the restaurant being full so that definitely helped.

Where to start with Avery. Out of all the breweries this is my top notch. The food here is very good, the staff is fun and knowledgeable as well as nice. Most importantly the beer is incredible. It doesn t matter what style you lean towards, this place will most likely have it. The one unfortunate thing is that some of the beer is quite expensive (9 dollars for 5 oz), but also completely worth it. If you make it to Boulder, head to this place!

They have very unique beers for tasting....
Some of them are really out of your normal world such as the bug zapper which is amazing...
Also, they have merchandise on sale at the location which is fairly cheaper compared to other usual places like these.
The staff is also very friendly.

Very unique excellent tasting beers here. If you get a chance to taste one of the small batches but they don't sell via distribution channels, absolutely give it a try. If you like it make sure you buy a six pack on site as you probably won't see it again.

Employees were rude. We left when it was clear they were untrained and had no intention of helping my partner and I. While I understand it is a holiday weekend and presumably busier, I would be appalled if a team I managed treated patrons that way.

Bring your pup and sit on the patio
Service was awesome and beer selection also
Food was a little pricey but good.
The only thing that didn't make it a 5 star was (and for most people it's not a bad thing) the food came out almost too fast, I like to at least finish 1 beer before my meal comes. But that's just me. I really liked that Hawaiian beer but can't remember the real name

I have been a fan of Avery's beer for some time and was recently given the opportunity to visit the brewery in Bounder, Colorado. This visit makes me wish there was a way to post a 10-star review!

We started with lunch in a large, two-story restaurant and tap room. The food was perfect and there were about 30 beers to choose from. I gravitated toward the large list of barrel aged stouts, including the recently released PB&J barrel ages stout. WOW!!! What added a nice touch was that all beers were served to my table in the perfect glass type for each of the different beers.

We then were able to take a tour of the brewery itself. My host was Jordan S., one of Avery's sales folks. Jordan knew so much about the brewery's history, processes, beer styles, and small details of each of their beers. The massive facility was spotless. They use by far some of the most advanced and efficient brewing practices in today's modern world. All ingredients were premium quality. It's no wonder why their beers turn out so well.

Overall, if you have the ability to end up at Avery, at all costs...do so!

Every time I ve been to Avery, I ve had a great experience with the staff, food and beer! I recently got takeout due to the current Covid situation, and I wish I lived closer because I would make it a weekly stop! I highly recommend it! You can t choose a bad beer :)

Very small food menu so I was happy they had vegetarian options. The food was great, all three of us loved our meals. The service was very slow. Our waitress almost never checked on us and I had to wait a very long time to order a side dish I decided to get. I had to flag down a different waiter for our check and our waitress never came back to our table again but staff was friendly and food was great. Would definitely go again despite service being so slow.

Awesome beers, great food and overall friendly service. Hillary, sadly, was rude to everyone in our large party. She was a horrible first impression, but fortunately the service was better after that.

Amazing selection of beers on tap! Visited from Kansas City, and love the beer and the food we had! The building looks so pristine, you would think it s just the original rendering. Very dog-friendly on the patio. The self-guided tour was a great touch! The only thing frustrating was the line to get a drink at the bar since it was a busy day - seemed to bottleneck the flow of service since the line cut off access to the patio. But everything tasted great!
