Our Sales Associate, Allen Sziklas, made our car-buying experience a real pleasure rather than a stressful and pressured negotiation. We were not looking forward to dealing with a sales associate, however Allen totally changed our point-of-view on the car-buying process. We spent a enormous amount of time researching pricing and options on the Subaru 2.5i Legacy. Allen quoted the basic price of our chosen vehicle, less the Auto Nation Discount. We compared that to our pricing research, and were very happy with his quote. Allen was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Auto Nation personnel that we dealt with were also very easy to do business with.

Viktor Biefel worked hard and helped me a lot to purchase my Ascent. I've realized that a minor problem was there inside of my driver door and the maintenance team fixed it in an hour when I visited the service by appointment. All in all I'm happy to choose AutoNation.

Very disappointed with my auto buying experience. Bought 2 cars on one day paying cash with personal checks. They deposited one check for $2,000 more than it was written. Went around and around with them to get it straight. Finally my bank took over to get it straightened out.

The title paperwork for both vehicles that I received from their Title processor was also in error. Fortunately my local Motor Vehicle Dept. let me make corrections or I would have had to send it all back.

Finally, they recently called to confirm an appointment for service that I never made. I have never used their service Department because I live in another city.

This dealership really needs to work on the details. I don't know if it's just carelessness by several parties or there is something else going on here, especially with the check amount issue.

I took my 2018 CrossTrek in to have a software update installed and for an oil change. I was given a loaner so that I had a vehicle while the service was being done. This is good because.. Software. A computer issue meant that I used the loaner for 2 days. I cannot say I'm jumping for joy, but the service was otherwise fine.

Forced to wait for over 8 hours. Drove off still waiting for them to get my car ready. After a misunderstanding regarding finances, I was threatened with several lawsuits and an attempt to repo my car and make me pay rent for it for the time I had it. This was AutoNation s first resort with no prior attempts to communicate with me around this issue whatsoever. I was threatened by their financial department repeatedly during the one phone call I had with them. I paid for the car in full (proving their accusations of financial fraud completely false and unfounded) and will never do business with these people again. Please be careful, these guys won t think twice about screwing you over as hard as they possibly can.

I would be especially careful of Bob Messmore if he s still working there. He s an ex cop responsible for conning people into buying the extra insurance. He s extremely aggressive and extremely sloppy with his paperwork, hence why AutoNation came after me about finances. I feel everyone ought to know a cop is trying to sell them insurance and will use their training as a cop to intimidate you into doing it.

It is pretty rare to find a dealer that is so dedicated to making a deal you can live with. Wes and Eliphaz were fantastic to deal with. My new 2015 WRX was the 4th car my family has purchased from this dealer, and I know we'll be back again.

One of the best parts of my purchasing experience was being able to test drive with another Subaru enthusiast. I honestly felt like I was driving with just another owner and not a sales person. We were able to talk technical specifics and I didn't feel patronized in the slightest, which was awesome.

As for service, these guys are great. I had some complex problems with my older car (not purchased at Autonation) and the service department was always dedicated to getting it solved. Pricing always felt fair, and everything was on the up and up.

After getting my 2020 Crosstrek a week ago it needed to go to the service department for a minor issue and I was pleasantly surprised to hear from my awesome salesman Dennis just checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly with the service department. He had made the buying process very easy and the fact that he was still involved made me really feel like a valued customer. He even brought my car to me when I was not able to get to the dealership right away. Thanks for making me feel like more then just a number.

Great selection, and less pressure / price haggling nonsense than most dealers I've experienced. That's why I've gone back to buy from them a second time. But it always seems like they're under staffed and poorly organized, no matter how many customers are there. For example, I had an appointment to pick up my new car and finalize the purchase, and I still had to wait nearly an hour to get into see the finance guy to complete my paperwork.

The Service Managers have been great, and explain what was done and what I may need down the road. Just bought a 2013 Outback from Allen Sziklas (pronounced ZIK-las) at GO Subaru West. After a fair bit of time on Consumer Reports, Edmunds and various forums I felt informed (brave) enough to head to the showroom. I was comfortable with Allen as he rode with me on two test drives. He was informative while respecting the level of information I'd gathered online. A calm message on the phone in the week it took to check out another vehicle, then unsurprised and professional when my wife and I rolled in ready to negotiate. The sale was simple, and when I sat in the car ready to go Allen took the time to help program the Bluetooth system with a few phone numbers.

We recently bought a 2017 Subaru Outback from Autonation, Golden CO. We were assisted by Mr. Dan Carne. He was very pleasant to work with and although we have owned an Outback in the past, he was able to demonstrate some of its abilities that surprised us. He was also very thorough in explaining various new safety features. The price was also very competitive. In general, we were very pleased with their service, courtesy and friendly interactions. There was, however, one thing that rather took us by surprise: Autonation automatically adds a $399 theft and identity protection package to the sales price. Although this is a relatively small amount compared to the price of the car, it would have been nice if they had informed us of this charge upfront -- not that it would have changed our decision.

All in all, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience working with Dan and Autonation, Golden and we would definitely consider them as our first choice next time.

I had an appointment for my oil change, yet there were several cars/customers arriving at the same time. In the past I have waited for My oil change to be completed and was happy with the service and time spent for the service to be completed. When I was told my wait time would be 3 hours I was shocked. I ended up calling for a ride to pick me up and then waiting for a call that my vehicle was ready. My appointment was at 8:15, I received that call at 12:00.

In addition, my experience with the customer service persons has always been pleasant and unhurried. This was not the case this time, I assume due to the number of customers waiting.

Lastly as I was outside waiting for my ride, I was watching the man who was moving vehicles out of the check in bay onto the street to, I assume, wait to be taken into service. Though he was wearing a mask as he got into each vehicle, the moment he drove out, his mask came off, and not put back on until after the car was parked and he headed back in. In these times, while I am being especially cautious due to caring for my 92 year old father, this action was a concern to me.

Stopped in to look at the 2019 Forester and was helped by young man moving into sales from service who provided an excellent introduction to the features and displayed enthusiastic pride in their product. Coming from a 2000 Camry, the thorough review of the Forester's high-end electronics and drive-assist technologies was both welcome and exciting. Ended up purchasing a Touring model with features equivalent if not superior to more costly competitor and luxury level SUVs. Very satisfied with the experience and sales staff cooperation in closing the transaction.

There are a large number of friendly, knowledgeable service people behind a long desk in the garage to help you with your service request. Any one of them can look up on a computer to see what your request is, and help you get started. This person is likely to escort you to the waiting are so that you don't get lost. The only criticism I have is the long wait to get your car back. Be sure to bring something to read or games to play on your phone.

They always do such a great job in the service department, and are friendly, prompt, and fix whatever the issue is. My ECU failed last year in my WRX and was replaced under warranty. I recently thought I might have a coolant leak and went in to get it checked. It was just a lot of summer hot weather evaporation but I felt much better getting a pressure test done, and knowing that the system was working properly before any preventable damage was done.

I purchased an outback from Autonation 2 years ago, unfortunately it is not one of the 95% of subarus still on the road; it was totalled in an accident, not my fault, and no one was hurt. The next day I went to another dealership to check out the new models. I was dissapointed in thier service so headed back to AutoNation where Zach was great, and as it turns out the sales person who sold me my 2012 outback is now the finance manager and even remembered us. I am hoping I don't find myself in the market for a new subaru any time soon, but if I am, I will return to Autonation.

They were all super helpful in holding a specific vehicle for me while I was out of town for essentially 2 weeks (my previous car was totaled right before leaving) I was pleasantly surprised they were so understanding of my situation. Great communication from the team as well if a new person was to help me (Gabe got a promotion and Ryan was enjoying a summer vacation). Ryan Anderson who helped me in the end arranged a pick up for me at the Jefferson light rail station which made travel to the location convenient for me. I bought a used car from Autonation and was not satified with how it handled after purchase. I used the 5 day money back guarantee which was a nice feature that they offer. The salesman was excellent, even though I was returning the car. The problem is on the backend where I am now waiting 2 weeks to get a check cut back to me, even though I can't put a stop payment on my check because it has already been cashed. Extremely frustrated with having to wait this out

Extremely poor experience with this dealer and their self stuff even though we bought the car. The car was dirty and we waited five hours when paying with card and no financing. I felt the salesman was dishonest and extremely difficult to deal with. I hope to never have to deal with them again of any other Auto Nation dealer. They made it feel like they were doing us a favor by selling us the car. Not even a single please or thank you through the entire process. These are basic customer service skills. The chairs were very hard and for that long of a wait they pretty much need recliners. I felt extremely rushed when they finally did put the paperwork in front of me and I feel like they did not want me to read it just sign off on these documents I had not even read for 2 minutes. This could all easily be fixed with tablets and better doc handling and signatures. They got the tax amount wrong and tried to overcharge us along with that no time was the handling fee mentioned before we entered the premises after speaking multiple times on the phone. I understand AutoNation manages a lot of dealers but with this kind of experience they must not be paying very close attention considering this is one of the most popular spots for Subarus in the entire country. I have purchased many cars over the years from dealers and this was by far the worst experience. Private sale abd eBay even have been better in the past.

I recently purchased a 2010 Honda Fit from Chris Noll at AutoNation Subaru West. The car was priced really well compared to other local dealerships. Chris was easy to work with, no high pressure sales tactics; in fact, he encouraged me to sleep on the decision and return the next morning - which I did. It took about 90 minutes to complete the paperwork and to be on our way. I had an independent inspection done on the vehicle by another dealership to ensure that everything was as it should be. When they found a couple of minor things (brake fluid needed bled, 4 lug nuts needed replaced) and I called AutoNation Subaru, they did the work free of charge right away. I would recommend this dealership to friends and family.

Wes Guthrie is the man!! Wes has sold me, my family, and friends more than have a dozen cars over the years. There is a reason that we keep coming back.

Subaru West is always good, but Wes is the reason that we return again and again. Finding a "straight shooter" in the car business is near impossible. Unlike most salesmen (or women), Wes wants you to get the right car for you. Plus he'll actually take the time to go through the car with you. This is something that is lacking from almost any other car salesman.

Our finance guy was also amazing this time. Today was my nephew's first new car buying experience. He was simply overjoyed because of what these two guys did for him.

If you're in the market for a new or used Subaru, you need to go to Subaru West and ask for Wes. You can trust that you'll be treated fairly, treated with respect, have a good time, and you can definitely know you'll be in good hands.

I bought a brand new 2010 Forester and strickly/religiously complied to the service recommendations set forth by Subaru. Began to have issues with the battery, they would test it and state that it was testing at normal rating capacity. I continued to experience low voltage, battery having to be "jump started," and Subaru continued to state that the battery was fine and that they would put "NOTES" about it in my records. Fall 2012, when the basic warranty expired, my car was stuck/stalled because the battery finally died without any indication what-so-ever. I was stranded for up to an hour, afraid and waiting for a tow truck. This is not a good feeling having to experience and wait, all because GOLDEN SUBARU refused to replace my car battery when I first complained, which was well within the warranty range. Very poor excuse for a replacement battery, which ended up costing $110.00. I called them about this issue and they stated, "WE HAVE NO NOTES OR RECORDS ABOUT THE BATTERY EVER BEING TESTED OR TESTING LOW."

I am usually hesitant about going to a dealership for service/maintenance as I expect high prices and mediocre service... that being said, AutoNation Subaru West has won me over in terms of quality of service both to their customers and their vehicles. I have gone to them previously for small services while my vehicle was still under warranty, as they have a large waiting room area with snacks and good WiFi (I often work while waiting), and the service has always been friendly and timely. My recent experience, however, has made me a customer for life. My A/C had been acting up, and after going to three other shops (all either A/C or Subaru specialists), John and team were the only ones to definitively diagnose and then ultimately fix the issues. He worked with me on a tight timeline to make sure that it was fixed prior to a road trip, made sure that I wasn t overcharged for any of the services. Overall the service and experience were both wonderful, and my car is working as it was when it was brand new. I ll definitely be going back Huge fan of John and AutoNation Subaru West!

We test drove the new Ascent it was great, Allen was awesome and very helpful. As was everyone who works there. With the one exception of the receptionist she was unprofessional and abrasive from the get go. We didn't have an appointment for the test drive how silly of us to just walk in and ask to drive a car at a car dealership! Somehow it seemed that was personally offensive to her, so we were talked down to like children. Otherwise I have always liked this dealership, I am already a Subaru owner otherwise I may have just turned around and walked out.

He fine-tuned our choices, found exactly the car we wanted and at a very good price. He also facilitated our trade-in . . . and we were done within several hours. We ve purchased our last 3 vehicles from Auto Nation. We truly appreciate their transparency, no haggle pricing and great customer service. We were a little frustrated with how long the process took this time. Our sales guy was juggling multiple customers and the finance people were behind. However, it was the last day of the month and they did look extremely busy. Overall, our sales guy, Preston was knowledgeable, friendly, outgoing and great at giving us options. We were pleased with the entire experience. We will continue car shopping at Auto Nation and consider Subaru again in the future.
