After he was brought a neat phone call with what had to be done about the car and why.
At the end of the afternoon a phone call telling you everything is ok and you can pick it up.
Well why am I telling all this. I already knew all this, since the 1995s already customer and buyer and never had any complaints.

Bought my VW Passat at Auto Smeeing. Incidentally, I thought the car was competitively priced and the reception was good. The car was purchased with a 6-month warranty. Unfortunately within this warranty period the rubbers of the car started to crack and the tires were not properly aligned. This was solved very nicely both times. The car was picked up from Groningen both times and we are provided with a loan car. After a smooth repair, the car was neatly delivered to us both times, well arranged!

At Smeeing we had an Opel Mokka X1.4 turbo automatic from 2017 in mind.
On a weekday we drove from Noordholland to Soest.
The cars are all in perfect shape, sort by type and in price class. Because we were there anyway, we watched about 2 hours of div cars and were in it.
We went for the Mocha anyway.
After we reported ourselves in the waiting room (bar) we were offered something to drink and a salesman was arranged.
Our salesman Maarten was there within 5 minutes. After he first valued our trade-in car, we drove a test drive of half an hour in the Mocha.
We quickly agreed on the trade-off and in fifteen minutes everything was on paper.
The packages offered there everyone is free in. Nothing has been forced or talked to us.

Exactly a week later we picked up the Mocha.
This was ready for departure on arrival at the front door.
We are very satisfied with this purchase .. the company Smeeing and the way seller Maarten helped us.

A month ago we bought a Nissan Qashqai from Smeeing, with a trade-in of a Volkswagen Polo.
Test drive in a comparable car, because the relevant Qashqai still had to be prepared. A week later I could make a test drive in 'our' Qashqai. Our salesman, Chris Koelewijn, helped us very well. He kept his promises. No blah blah stories, just neat / sincere and honest! A very nice seller. So if you go to Smeeing, ask for Chris ;-)
Smeeing's service is also great! A small defect in the car, so the car had to be checked. The car was picked up and brought back home.
In short: we definitely recommend Smeeing !!

Nice thing, a lot of imports. An appointment has been made for a car, the seller in question appears to have a double appointment. And if it has little to no time, you are not really taken seriously. Negotiating the price is not possible here.
Car bought and "official cruise control" built in for 500 extra ... it appears that they have built in a non-functioning gold cruise (costs 60) but Smeeing refuses me anything to meet ... other points of attention have not been met ...

Hostile hostess but on the other hand long waiting times, low trade-in. Sell cars without emotion. A box slider in auto land and absurdly high prices for delivery and warranty packages. That it is still possible at this time.

This weekend we went to Smeeing with the family because they had several Toyota Prius cars. After looking around we saw two cars that had aroused our interest. We let the kids drink chocolate milk in the showroom to have a closer look at the cars and we asked an employee for help. This friendly but probably inexperienced employee did not know much about cars, but was helpful and willing to check our computer for us. We were then allowed to take a test drive without any problems. The employee had taken the car key and started the engine. We first looked at the dashboard and discussed the navigation and the bluetooth calling option. The employee showed how bluetooth works with the help of his own telephone when he was called by his colleague. This colleague asked the friendly employee if he was still working on "those customers" (so we). He had to say that he had to help elsewhere because those people had no serious interest and were only orientating. And whining about navigation and stuff. The colleague literally said that: nagging. A hoot of course that he could be heard over the loudspeakers of the car, but also ... Well, give it a name. At least I left immediately. Stunned and furious. We were genuinely interested and would like a Prius before we go to France in two weeks by car. That Prius will probably come there, but not bought at Smeeing. If they think you're nagging because you ask a few questions about a car before 13,000, then I don't want to find out how service-oriented they are once you've bought the car.

Today went by public transport from Stadskanaal to Soest, to pick up the new acquisition. In itself a nice experience on a 'free day', when you do not often travel by train and bus.
When I arrived at Smeeing the coffee and the car were waiting for me and after the last signature and handling I wanted to go home soon with the new pride. In the parking lot near Smeeing a light immediately lit up, which fortunately went out quite quickly. Agreed that if it came back after a short round Soest, the car would be put to the computer for reading.
When this did not happen right away, I trusted a one-time failure and started the return journey. Unfortunately ri. Zwolle started to light up again and agreed to drive back by telephone with the seller to do a check.
Yes, annoying when it turned out that the malfunction could not be rectified immediately, so I could not go home with the new car, but compliments for the solution that was offered. Company looks like a wonderful company with friendly people behind the bar, but if something is wrong with your car then they would rather spend time under warranty than time to adequately repair your car. They have specially employed people for this: an after-sales director. His salary must come from somewhere.
Do not purchase Best Buy (Plus) with warranty extension and warranty repair from a dealer in your area, because if another garage does not perform the repair properly, the terms of the Bovag do not apply to the additional terms. You then have no leg to stand on. Moreover, Bovag warranty is already included with cars from 4500 euros. Why would you pay extra? It is better to put that money aside for a possible repair. For a delivery I would not do it either: cars are already heavily cleaned in the garage, oil is not even changed (only according to factory schedule) and within a year, within 15000 km the oil level has already been dangerously twice below minimum, despite interim completely fill / refresh during a small turn. So first check the oil level before you start driving, i Also inspect the bottom well. They also let you quietly drive out of the garage with a dangerously sliding floor mat that didn't want to get stuck anymore because of a button from the previous mat that was stuck to the wall. That's what they call a year of maintenance-free driving. On day 1 I already had to go to the garage to release the button. So irritation was already awakened from day 1, but it gets worse, much worse. Two weeks after purchase, I heard that my gearbox gave a strange rattling noise when accelerating from a standstill. Commissioned by Smeeing to have a thrust bearing replaced by a garage close to home, to preventively install new clutch plates that I had to pay myself because they were not completely worn out, while always advising to replace the entire clutch set at the same time. Returned after six months of the same complaint. They say without a glance or blush a user error or (part) error from the other garage and you can whistle to the sales guarantee. Even the disputes committee does not rule out a user error twice and sends you home empty-handed. Despite the fact that the expert report of the disputes committee states that the burning smell did not come from misuse of the clutch but came from leaking oil, the seller certainly claims that the car was not leaking oil during their inspections. Rara how is that possible, no leakage but the burning smell of it. Extensive diagnosis of coupling problem almost as expensive as repair. If you have invested more than a thousand euros in extra warranty and service, you will no longer have any money left for an expensive diagnosis and repair with the high probability that you will have to pay the costs yourself. About a pok noise during the springing out after a threshold, high whistles from 80 km / h from the powertrain, a broken window control driver's seat, I will say nothing. Nothing they have wanted to repair. You would expect that the guarantee you buy is a kind of insurance that all buyers collectively pay for a few unlucky ones like me. But also bad luck has to be earned and not a cent too much loss should be made, except for that one cup of coffee of course. Don't be tempted / mislead. I'll never come back. You have been warned. It was a Citroen C5 Tourer from 2012, 81000 km on the clock for 12,945.55 (excl. Best Buy Plus worth 1090 euros).
Very customer-unfriendly, respond reasonably quickly to mail, but it does not go a step further (wanted a value estimate of my current car, after sending all requested information and photos), I am happy that I did not drive 130 km even after it read the other reviews.
Good information and fair prognosis. Always nice to be able to get replacement transport without problems. Pleasant treatment and tasty coffee during the waiting period should this occur.
Bad experiences with it! First car turned out to be a lemon, they would recover, car traded in with the statement that I would drive carefree, after a year of running at very high maintenance costs, of which they were aware but did not share. No I will certainly not come here again.
WATCH out if someone buys a car here! I was promised that they would give the car a turn, but that did not happen. Check on delivery whether everything is up to standard and whether it contains fresh oil. Poor service and emails are no longer responded to.

Auto Smeeing is 150km away from our home and we drove to Soest with cars on the eye. The cars had a low mileage (around 1st turn).
When we sat down to look at the price we were confronted with mandatory services packages from Smeeing that individually cost more than 600 Euro. These packages contain all securities that would never benefit the buyer, except for 40 of the fuel that was in the package. The packages offered are therefore a bad deal for an almost new car. We have reported this at that time.
When asked repeatedly to pick up this there was fenced with the fact that this must of the Bovag and the like, we have therefore canceled it - we felt that we were being cheated.
In addition, we were told that there was no better deal to obtain on the car, this while one car within 2 weeks 2000 Euro became cheaper.
As in all it was not a good experience.
Two times a car purchased from smeeing, both were in very bad condition.
Then the point that they misdiagnosed our two cars a few times, often resulting in extra unnecessary costs.

We were there to test drive a car and most probably buy it but the poor quality of communication changed our mind and we decided to buy from other dealers.
The guy who was supposed to know about the car was very disappointing, he was not willing to explain about the car and sale condition!
I strongly recommend you do not waste your time there.
In '13 a new Alfa MiTo bought here, car did not like after a few days. Thought the car to be able to exchange because of a 14 day exchange guarantee, was told that this only applies if the car had defects. Eventually lost money on a car a few days old and have to pay extra for another car. After all those years, I still do not like it.

Great company with a huge range. I bought a 2016 Passat there last year. The small things have been addressed directly from the warranty. Auto Smeeing is service-oriented. Comes with options and there is always a loaner available. If I want to get rid of this car, I will certainly see if there is something beautiful in between at Auto Smeeing in Soest. My only tip for when physical visits are possible again; make an appointment and don't just go there. Throughput in sales is high, which makes it busy. With an appointment you get all the attention of the sales advisor!

I arrived there and could still wait an hour. Only when I wanted to leave and said that I have been waiting 1 hour for nothing to be helped, was 10 minutes allotted for me. Really ridiculous service, when I made the seller attend that the car I came for (volvo xc90) leaked oil at the shock absorber had an asterisk in the windshield and had some scratches that death said nice yes it is sold as it is. And that for a car of more than 50k. Then left all my details to make a new appointment after I drove here for nothing. Never heard from them again !!? In retrospect, I am very happy that I bought my volvo xc90 elsewhere the following week. You don't want to do business with such a company.
