Taronga zoo is an amazing place to visit. The variety of birds and animals at the zoo is extensive. The animals are well looked after by professional staff and the grounds are clean. A must see for any visitor to Sydney. I now have an annual pass to visit the zoo as often as I can.

We did the Roar & Snore. It was absolutely amazing! The dinner, night tours, and morning tours were all a ton of fun! But by far the best part was the view. You have a view of the Harbor (including the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Opera House), which is stunning both at night as well as when you get up in the morning. The hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly. The entire visit was just fantastic!

Nice place for the kids although very crowded. Just make sure you go on a normal weekend or any weekday. I went during the Christmas holidays and it was overflowing with visitors. The tiger exhibit queue was snaking all over and probably took an hour. We skipped for next time. Also take a tip - if you you think you'd visit the place frequently, go for the yearly pass. Would save a lot of money and time each time you visit!

Still a good zoo. Go with " my fast ferry" pass at the darling harbour warf also at circular quay for a direct two way ride which includes the chair lift to get to the top and Zoo entry for only $60. No waiting, no bs, they are fully licensed and tell you what your looking at during the ride.

Australian wildlife at one place and much more, you get a chance to interact with the caretakers .check the timings before you go. Always purchase the cable car ticket with entry fee, covering the zoo from top down is much better.... the seals and dolphins put an attractive show... the reptile zones are also quite interesting

Visited the zoo around 5 years ago it was amazing but when we revisited again this year we didn't really see much animals and anyone could see that it is not well managed and it looks like the place hasn't be cleaned in years!

Our family loves the zoo. We've been at least once a week for the two months we've lived in Sydney. Annual pass is great value. Unsurprisingly it does get busy in peak times but there's loads to see

Great time at the zoo watching the live shows which are quite entertaining for kids plus the view is spectacular. Best way to get there is via ferry, as it will add to overall experience! Loved it!

The zoo is great, and will be amazing once the new bigger safari habitat is built, lots to see and do, the cable car is a very exciting way to arrive, the staff are all friendly and helpful, the animals are great and the conservation projects are very interesting to read about. Penguin feeding is the BEST!

Paid a fortune for tickets for the family, to find the sky safari cable car wasn't working (10 dollars per head wasted), then everywhere we turned in the park we were met with building works, or exhibitions "returning" so only about half the park even seemed open. An absolute nightmare with a push chair.

If they had discounted tickets from only having half the place open, wouldn't have minded. If the tour rep said, not very pram friendly, wouldn't have minded.

Best zoo in the world. Stunning. . . . But hard to navigate around even with a map. It's on a hill and I think it's designed so that you take a cable car to the top and walk down to the entrance at bottom of hill. I walked up the hill and coped fine but wonder if navigation would have been easier if I had stuck with the crowd

Its a lovely zoo, with a large variety of animals, but every time I've visited in the last few years, there is always lots of construction happening. The park layout is quite messy at the moment. Once its complete, I'm sure the park will have a better layout, and closed enclosures will be reopened.

Too crowded with school groups, I reckoned bringing your own food, as most attractions are usually overpriced, being a picnic basket and blanket, and sit on the grass, watch the talks and shows, wear runners and nothing fancy, but good enough for photos with those breathtaking for example a tall tall tall giraffe and in the background the most beautiful view of the Harbour Bridge from the distance unblocked. Taronga Zoo is on a hill so be careful when you go there in hot weather you get very easily tired and also when it's raining it's not the best idea to go as animals will also want an umbrella isn't the best idea as it often attractions instead bring a disposable rain poncho or similar to that. This is just good to Taronga Zoo have so many attractions it's very beautiful it's hands on it's worth it...... just keep precautions

Love the zoo. The staff is really dedicated and passionate about the animals. The zoo also has an amazing view of the opera house and the harbour bridge near the giraffe enclosure. The food was subpar and overpriced. The place needs a better food court. Also a few water stations to refill water bottles will also help especially during summers when it gets really hot.

Perfect setting to view animals that you may not get to see without travelling.

Can be a bit of a hike, for some, as it is set on a hill. But, the view of the harbour helps make up for that.

Can bring your own food and drink if you're not willing to pay the kiosk prices

Taronga Zoo is the best place for children and adults go out on holiday. You can learn and know a lot of things about animals. The cost in there is not too expensive: 30$ for (5-15), 40$ for adults or you can go with your family and get the cheap price!!!! There are a lot of animals maybe you never seen before and you can watch bird and seal show for free!!!

Great place to spend with your family. The zoo has a wide range of animals. And is home to the famous Sumatran Tigers. The seal show was just one of the highlights of the day. In all a lovely place to spend with the wild away from the city.
