Love it, love it! Great plays and actors. Often thought provoking, always worth watching. If you can afford to subscribe, do so. You will ensure that you see great theatre and save money.

always have good play, watched amazing angel in america part 2 there. The ambience is different with my another favourire theatre - Royal Theatre but it is a bit bohemian and I like the crowd there, which is like a small arty village.

Watched 'Single Asian Female' - very funny. Small cosy theatre, bar with small meals. Always enjoy coming here, the range and calibre of plays shown are either confronting or fun.

Great spot for a drink and a play and conveniently located a stone's throw from all that surry hills has to offer. Recently Watched 'My Name is Jimi' and 'Hir' prior to that. Both excellent productions.

It's been a while since I've been there, even though I only live across the street from it but last time I went there I had an amazing time. From time to time they do quality theatre if that's your thing but I'm not really big on it so I'm the wrong person to be writing about the place really!

Love this theatre, good quality shows (I've seen Calamity Jane and the Wolves) and great wine list. It's a lovely spot to hang out beforehand and during intermission, they even have Negroni!

Wageless days are always good. Queue for tickets but all seats are close. Intimate; diverse audiences; Varied plays; minimal actors; stage changes - very smooth; if you don't like the play you can leave at interval & it hasn't cost you a cent. Thank you Belvoir Street. Well done & keep up the great work.

Dusty smelling theatre with uncomfortable seats, could use a renewal really. At least visibility is good from most seats. Food is a bit poor for the price and tehy're using way too much packaging.

Belvoir St Theatre is in a great location, with easy access to heaps of bars and restaurants around Surry Hills. We went to Lil Darling just down the road which was great. The play we saw "The Glass Menagerie" was really interesting, with great local actors. There's a bar downstairs for a drink before or at intermission.

The play and cast were outstanding. Left the three of us all thinking about the contents and a good and necessary reminder of the atrocities inflicted on the Jews by the Germans during the Second World War. Think they could improve on the quality of eats and wines before the show. Fair quality only.

Amazing independent theatre. I Love the free performances of their shows every month for the unwaged members of the community such as pensioners & other people receiving centrelink benefits.

I have been a subscriber to the Sydney Theatre Company (fabulous) but now subscribe to the Belvoir St. The Belvoir St Theatre was started in 1984. I really like the program it offers as it strongly supports Australian playwrights as well. The program is varied and I can honestly say that I have not seen a play I did not like. There is an upstairs and downstairs theatre. The small downstairs theatre often offers one man shows and is priced accordingly. The upstairs theatre is still very intimate and there is not a bad seat in the house. Speaking of seats, if you are tall speak to the box office and get advice about which seats offer the best legroom.

Always something interesting on stage so worth a punt. Some productions sell out quickly but you will get a good view from just about any seat in the theatre. Bar usually very busy.

Good theatre with comfortable seats. A little confusing as to where you should go upon entering. Schedule of shows seem to have interval at the same tome, meaning the lobby is crazy busy, at least stagger it to allow customers to get served easier!

Great service at box office and bar. Good food and beverage options...and not outrageously overpriced. Comfortable seating and good viewing from most seats in the upstairs theatre.
