This was not the typical cheap, beachside fried food shack we were expecting. Everything was delicious

The best little gem in Pawleys Island. The only beach front bar in the area. Great seafood too.

Great staff and relaxing vibe. Love the beach bar feeling. You must try it.

Food and service not up to par, four different meals all sub standard, and very expensive, waitress made three attempts before she got or separate checks correct, while we waited and waited and waited

Bill Austin, chef is a genius. ..magical food with a magical view. ..best on the south side! I came to try this awesome eatery after staying in a room oceanfront. ...was fishing and ran out of bait..went to the back of the kitchen and asked to buy raw shrimp, scallops...Bill graciously GAVE me plenty! Made my day!

We went to Cabana because I wanted a great pina colado. Saw good reviews and antipated a great drink. It was not great. It was not even good. In fact it was pretty bad. Here are the factors that were poor:
Not frozen
Watered down
Could not taste any rum
$9 drink with no fruit garnish, not even the obligatory cherry
No happy hour prices even though stayed on their web site.
Server said quality of drink and garnishes depended on who was bartending

Brought my sister-in-law to my favorite lunch place on Tuesday. Our waiter approached us with only a face shield (and it was not pulled down). We saw him wipe his nose 3 times and I went to speak to the manager. Manager said a face shield was ok and that I had been touching my face while lodging my complaint. He promised to bring our food himself, but defended the offending waiter. I won't be returning for a long time.

Delicious food, beautiful view! Expect a wait, but it is well worth it!

The pool boy is was working in the bar and i ordered a virgin pina colada. I had brought 13 dollars with me and ordered i was not expecting them to be that much money, when i asked if i could only get one he told me that he already rang up both and so i had to pay for both of them. I just sat there until a random man gave me some money, this was humiliating having to ask a stranger for money. They will never be getting another dollar from me or my friends or family due to their poor customer service.

While we were staying at the adjoined Inn, we had minimal expectations that Ocean One would be average at best.
From the time we walked inside we were very impressed with the friendly and attentative staff, and the spectacular view.
From the bartender to our waitress (and sommelier) Cindy, we enjoyed great conversations with some knowledgeable wine facts to help our wine selection.
But nothing topped our evening more than our dinners. From the perfectly prepared scallops & shrimp to the pistachio crusted grouper, we were not disappointed. The only negative I can say is that the food was so good, we didn't have room for dessert!
We will definitely come back to this restaurant.

Great view and good food. Sit outside if the weather permits. They can do gluten free.

Food and service were good. We sat outside and it was warm and there were quite a few flies. Would be a nicer visit in the spring or fall.

Good service, goid food, follows recommended guidelines by sanitizing tables and chairs between seatings with appropriate distancing, plus servers wearing masks.

Pasta plates so large you can share them! Of course we took ours home to snack on later, . Delicious fried green tomatoes, ! We had to take the Ameretto glazed chocolate cake home, no room left in our bellies! Dixie, our waitress was charming and attentive. A beautiful view of the ocean was a bonus. Highly recommended eatery, we are looking forward to eating there again soon.

It is and old place with a good view of the beach. I was not impressed with the food quality for the price. The chef's menu sounds like a foodies dream but it didn't deliver. I felt like I was in the old country club dining room from the 70s. I don't think I would return.

So far so good! Ordered grouper wrap for myself and wife got the crabcake and we love both, read a lot about being too greasy and overpriced but for the atmosphere quality of food and scenery and wife's happiness I cannot give it less than five stars! Menu selection is small but a good one, very dress down casual atmosphere with outdoor seating down below whereas the upper level is formal with fancy Waiters and friendly atmosphere, both restaurants share cooking staff but 2 bars and automatic urinals what more could you ask for for real?! HAPPY HOUR $1 off most drinks and strong the way i like it, also outdoor seating had heated lights! Very pleased! Highly recommend! :-)

Nice bartenders and wait staff! View is great if you get table outside!

We had dinner at Austin Ocean One tonight and it was superb! Fine dining at it s best. We started off with New England clam chowder that was the best I ve ever eaten. We have been all over New England and never had any better there. I had braised short ribs with risotto and spinach that was absolutely Delicious! You could cut the meat with a fork. My husband had broiled red snapper over risotto with green beans that was also delicious and very moist. Our compliments to the chief. Our waitress was Cindy and she was outstanding. Our service could not have been better. Cindy was so friendly, very knowledgeable about all foods and wine, very attentive and we were not rushed. You could tell she enjoys what she does.
A must go. You will not be disappointed.

First time stopping here and will definitely go back

I had the special for lunch, black bean cakes over greens with corn and avocado. Perfectly light dressing with salsa and sour cream on the side. And the server Dixie was delightful!

Food was ok, bit pricey. You'll pay for the view - but it was a nice one!

We stayed at Lichfield by the Sea and loved it. Cafe is pricey for what you get, but expected for a beach side setting. Would have given 5 stars, but drinks were not strong. Friendly staff and good service. Fun location for family, but lots of kids if you're looking for a romantic/party weekend be aware it's more family oriented.

Views are excellent from the inside restaurant. We wanted to enjoy the outdoors seating. Staff friendly, seafood was good, but wraps/lunch menu is pricey. The cabana is located between the 2 pool areas, so there can be lots of noise. Some island music (there was not any music) would have set the mood much better and made it feel more like a vacation at the beach. Overall great place and ocean access. Just add some tunes please!

This place is excellent and rarely crowded in the off season. A gem and a jewel.

Way up there with the Best!! The Seafood salad is super delicious!! And if your appetite is a little bit on the "meaty" side I highly recommend the Duck-breast salad..The chef really knows his trade. LOVE this place!!

By far the best restaurant in the area. White linen exceptional ocean view. Not cheap but the best quality best food in town!

Always great! My "go to" place and only place at the beach.

I love sitting on the pool deck and looking out over the ocean. The nachos with the chili on the side are my pick and Steve loves any of the grouper dishes they are all great either bronzed or blackened. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because they have tiny little plastic cups for the wine.

Loved the place. Food was good. Would have given it 5 stars if they could take my Discover credit card. They can t take Discover card at this time.

Great food. Only one guy trying to run everything. The two girs and other guy standing around talking doing nothing. Girl at bar completely ignored me. Food was good.

Go here every year. The sommelier Cindy is always perfect in pairing a bottle with the meal. A true gem!

The place is a good location but the food was awful my shrimp was frozen. Not happy at all. I had to pay 14 dollars for a basket of FROZEN shrimp. Go to a real restaurant you can get real food for the same price.

Very nice. The restaurant overlooks the beach. We had a party of 8. Reservations were no problem. Service was excellent. Drinks just right. Food was perfect. Lots of imagination on the menu. The "Ring of Fire" should have been called the "Ring of Warmth". Not spicy at all. Presentation was good, though. Appetizers and desserts were pretty nice, too. Definitely pricey, but probably worth it. Good parking. Easy access.

The steak was cooked to perfection. No need for sauce as the seasoning was awesome. This steak melted in my mouth and my friend's shrimp and grits we're also good. Service was great and the bartender was super nice!

Great staff....good food... Friendly ... a bit pricy for drinks ...$9.00!!! And food...$14 +...but its convenient to our inn.

Overall maybe the best meal of the year for us in our 2019 visit to the Pawleys Island area. The veal chop special was out of this world. Lisa's said her salmon dish was one of the best meals she had on the trip. Ocean views add to the great experience we had to Austin's. We'll be back!

Way overpriced for frozen popcorn shrimp. Nice location overlooking ocean but cannot recommend the food.

Great ambiance, great service and great food. Lovely view of the ocean. Wonderful way to celebrate a birthday with dear friends.

Bartender was extremely rude. Told us they were not seating people outside when there were numerous people sitting outside. Finally, a nice server provided us a seat outside.

They dont monitor their email for reservations...need to phone them

Food is good I sadly I will never eat hear again it was not even busy but I sat here for over a hour and never got a drink service is being bad they had 4 waiters out ones and never got offered to get me anything would not waist you money on this place

I had the fried shrimp basket and it was delicious!! My parents both got salads and they were amazing! Highly recommend the food and the frosty cocktails are yummy as well!

Great place! Great food! Great view! Great service! Sit outside as it's all about being on the ocean here. The food is fresh, reasonable and the servers are personable and professional. I especially recommend the Bronzed Grouper, the crab cakes and anything with the succotash (never thought I'd say that... it's that good). Also, the salad dressings are all homemade... creamy tarragon? Oh, yeah!

Food way better than a beach bar, but you are going to pay for it. I am willing to for the location!

Annette and her staff are beyond accommodating. If you are looking for an incredible dining or catering experience in the area, look no further. Simply the best around.
