For much better food try an authentic restaurant like El Paso which is 3 miles east of here. Hostess and servers are ditzy (or stoned) high school girls. Food was horribly bland. Decor was cheesy (very suburban). The drink we ordered when we sat down came when we were just about done eating. The only redeeming quality was that the manager was nice.

Great Tex-Mex with reasonable prices. I love the Willie Nelson taco platter as you get several different specialty tacos, such as a spicy beef, carnitas, and chicken version with creative ingredients. Overall, I recommend the appetizer special so you can try them all, but my fav is the Austin wings, which are blackened and served with a smooth ranch-style dressing.
Amazing restraunt, we've been eating there for 9 years and we all love it, the chips are fresh and right before you run out they give you more. The quesidilla and burritos are amazing but the wings are amazing but it's Mexican food, what do you expect. Definitely recommend this to familys or people who just want a drink since they also have a bar and an outdoor seating area, definitely come here!
NASTY.... I witness the waitress.Go out side play with a dog then gave him a pitcher of water out of one their pitcher . Then came back in didn't wash her hands. Took a drink order and went straight to the bar and fixed the customers drink.NASTY NASTY. ...I told the manager but he didn't care because he sitting outside watching the dog drink out the pitcher. He said he would talk to her.
Austin Grill cares! The food and service are great, but I can't tell you how much I appreciate how they take care of their clients. My parents have been going to Austin Grill for date night every Friday for years, but when the COVID-19 quarantine hit, they had to get their weekly dinners with carry out. Now that Austin Grill has reopened, they resumed their date nights. I was worried, but went along last week. I learned their favorite waiter Brian reserves them a table away from everyone else. Brian and everyone working there wear masks. Austin Grill has always cared about the community. When first opened, they invited elementary school kids in to watch them make tortillas and run a clean, healthy kitchen. Ever since they arrived in West Springfield, Austin Grill has been a great neighbor and an essential part of our local community. Thank you.
Clean and consistent. Out door seating. Good food. Covid-19 friendly. Reasonably priced.
Tasty tacos
We fondly recall Austin Grill as being one of our favorite places to go. I can't count it among one of our favorite locations any longer. The meals didn't seem to be as appealing and the location seems as if it hasn't been properly maintained and it could use some leadership.
Different chips and salsa but our waiter said they'll go back to the old "recipe". Hope so! That's what we were looking forward to after being closed for months! Great chicken tacos and delicious margaritas too! Happy you're open!!
The Austin Grill in Old Towns was great, before they decided to become a Tequila bar.

Staff treated my elder father like a complete joke when these jerks gave us the WRONG food, then REFUSED to fulfill our ACTUAL order. There a quite a few TexMex places in town. You should check those out before being dead set on coming here. Not worth the possible dissapointment and maltreatment.
Watched the Capitals play there. Great spot to watch the finals while everyone else forgot about this place.
Extremely over priced food and my waiter was very rude. Nobody bothered to check on me while eating. If they had, I would have told them how dissatisfied I was with my order. I recommend never eating here.

It was such a pleasure coming to this restaurant. The food was amazing, customer service was amazing as well. I was helped by Brian and the manager Jerry came over to thank us for coming. Ordered a steak burrito and I was not pleased. It was more a black bean burrito. Please please reduce the amount of beans you put in the burrito. Not much flavor. My fault for ordering a burrito in Virginia because I have been spoiled by living in Los Angeles, San Diego and Phoenix. The place was pretty busy so I guess I chose unwisely. Not to mention that it cost $20 for a burrito and a Coke.

Went for cinco de mayo, and our wings were cold in the middle. Instead of replacing our order, the manager took our 3 wings and warmed them up. The ones we bit into couldn't be put back on the grill (which is understandable, but REPLACE THE ORDER WE DON'T EAT COLD WINGS). The salad I ordered with steak was miserable. I have ordered this before, there were no steak strips, rather the tiny bits of beef that they put on tacos. Management must have recently changed, prices have gone up quality has gone down. I WAS a regular (Once every 4-6 weeks) there until now.

Asked for a large queso and instead of telling us they don t have a large they brought us 2 so we paid 20$ for queso that tasted like it was out of a can. Food was terrible would not recommend.
I have been there a few times. It's good. It could be a bit more affordably priced but it's good food. I'm a bit prejudiced because Tex Mex and mexican food in NC is so much more common, cheaper, and faster to come to your table. I will say, it might be a good idea to mention on your menu that the wings are naked. Just saying, I'm not holding any grudges.

Fun, festive, terrific & tasty! My wife and I have been finding this to be a fun place to get our southwestern food fix for years! It's a lively environment, the staff have always greeted and served us with great moods, the food is consistently good and tasty, along with reasonable prices. Although not a burger buff, I was enticed to try their Hangover Burger... WOW! I'll swear by it - it's great! Highly recommended! Almost everything on their menu is terrific from breakfast faves like Huevos Rancheros to the Barbacoa Beef, or Los Lobos with the skirt steak taco, barbacoa beef enchilada with Ancho chile sauce and Carne Asada steak, one cannot go wrong. It gets really busy around dinner and lunch time, so be aware... but it definitely is worth it!
Great ribs and a great staff all around. I'm from texas and the food is a bit different than traditional tex mex bbq but very very close.
Location is open despite the surrounding construction (June 2019). The manager handed out $5 off coupons because of it but they only worked on regularly priced food so not very useful for happy hour. I visited on a trivia Monday, the host was a few minutes late and not as funny as I had hoped. I ordered a hamburger and it wasn't seasoned, so that was a bit disappointing and I got charged for avocado which they forgot to include. The waiter was great and fixed the check for me. He was also very attentive! I'll be visiting again and trying something else on the menu.
One of our favorite local places. The staff are all very friendly, usually fast service and overall decent food - highly recommend the tombstone tacos or Austin Chopped salad with Salmon

I've been visiting Austin Grill for over 20 years. I stopped by this evening for some food and I sat at the bar and ordered a beer and chips. Once I finished the beer, the bartender was no where in sight so I could order some food and another drink. I went to the restroom and when I returned, I was surprised to see that my place was gone, along with my chips. Another couple was sitting in the same spot that I had occupied. I sat at another location and the bar assistant did not recognize me after I complained. She stated she could not help me. All I wanted was another drink and a menu. Once the bartender returned, he joked about it, but was NOT apologetic about my experience. When I suggested that I didn't owe anything from my previous spot due to me being ignored, he got mad. I explained I was joking but that I have Never been treated like this, ever especially at Austin Grill . The bartender and management were never apologetic for this rudeness. And that's all I can call it. Bartender never offered anything especially an apology for me being evicted.
I have been going to Austin Grill since I was a kid, and have always loved it. Went for margaritas with a friend on Saturday night. We sat a the bar for ten minutes without any acknowledgement from the bartender. We asked for chips, salsa and queso, with a round of margaritas. We were LONG done with our margaritas (45 minutes) before salsa and warm-ish queso was put in front of us. The bartender honestly did not seem to care at all and just said "See I didn't forget your queso!". If this had been my first time dining here, I wouldn't return. But I will never sit at the bar again especially if that bartender is working.
If you re in the service industry, it says a lot about your restaurant if you loved eating your own food. I think it says more when you continue to return and enjoy it long after your change in careers.
I was a server at AG from 2001-2007 and loved eating there daily, oftentimes twice a day if I was working a double. To this day, I continue to return and enjoy some wings, chicken quesadilla with bacon and combo fajitas. It s changed over the years with more formal uniforms or jazzed menus but what s remained are great people, tasty food and a chill atmosphere to just enjoy a meal and company.
Looking forward to the next time I m around town to stop in.
Love this place! The food is good &the service is amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot. They also have a bar & a different special every day of the week.
We really like their queso. Everything else on the menu is good. Their Mexican gumbo is spicy and delicious.

Just finished lunch with my mom and daughter. We all enjoyed our entrees. Chips and salsa are great. Just the right level of spice. Waiter was nonchalant. Could have been a little more enthusiastic.

Wouldn't bother coming here if it wasn't for Tuesday kids night. Kids eat for $1 and they have free face painting and balloon animals. Food is just ok. Ordered my burger medium it was very well done. They do have a military discount.

I've come here for years, and the food is great. The menu has some pricey items, so it's important to know what you want and what you're paying for. Geoff is fantastic! He gets the orders right every time, and remembers how you like your food and drinks.
They do have very meaty burritos, real delicious meat. Staff were very nice and attentive.

Wow, Keisha was our server and blew it out of the water. Me and my boy were hungry figured why not, expectations were low and Keisha met us with kindness and knowledge of the menu. Food was good as well, and was delivered by a very nice gentleman, Ford. Overall, very good place for a bite to eat and even watch the game.

We've eaten here a few times since we moved to the area. The food is always delicious and I love their margaritas when they're on special. The only issue we ever have is slow service. It's understandable when it's extremely busy for dinner, but during lunch is a little less so. It's a minor annoyance, but not enough to keep us from eating there again.

I have been coming here for 20 years. My dad actually brought me here when I was two years old! And even before I was born my dad was a loyal customer for years. And even still to date, this is our go to restaurant. The best salsa I have ever had. The corn soup is always great, and the overall environment is amazing.
