Venue was great. Staff A+. My only complaint are the seats. Could stand to be another 1 - 2 wider.

Attended Professor Jordan Peterson's "12 Rules for Life" Tour. Absolutely slammed. Line outside moved quickly, almost TSA levels of security at gate. Staff friendly, no lines at bar, great seats even though in the gods.
Difficult to hear at times as staff noisily restocking bar or something right behind us. Very interesting, good venue. Saw Blondie here in 2011, I think, good deal too.
Best music venue I've ever been to. Not a bad seat in the house.
Awesome venue for a large audience while still being an intimate experience. The bar and hang out area just outside of the concert space is a sheltered open air area. The security screening is a thorough manual inspection with hand metal detectors so choose smartly what you have on you.
After my first concert here, i was hooked. Probably one of the better music venues I been to. The sound, lighting, and seats are great. Plenty of bars at all levels. I enjoy going to the Wine Down series. I will go to any ACL taping that I get passes to, no matter who is playing, just to experience this venue.
Is saw Desus & Mero live here tonight.
Venue was great, Staff from Security to the ticket scanning people even the ushers were great. The whole experience was sensational.

I'm in a wheelchair and the staff went out of their way to accommodate me. Thanks y'all
I went here for the first time to see Neutral Milk Hotel, and the venue was fantastic! Neutral Milk Hotel is my favorite band of all time so I was so so so happy that it was such a nice venue. It was a great size - not too big - and the balcony seating is set up so well! It's really steep so there's absolutely NO issue with people's heads in front of you blocking your view. It was also pretty awesome that there was actually a bar inside of the theatre area so you could go get another drink without causing a disruption or leaving!
Pain-in-the-ass venue with surprisingly uncomfortable seating, indifferent staff, and muddled sound quality for most acts playing there
Really great venue! Not a bad seat in the house, multiple easily accessible bars on every level, and super friendly staff! And even with an almost sold out house, it didn't feel cramped or crowded. Can't wait to hear about another artist I want to see live playing there so I can go back!
I went to a free taping of Austin City Limits Live within my first week of being in Austin. Even though the performer was not the type of music I usually listen to, I was still blown away by both his talent and the atmosphere of the venue. In particular, I really enjoyed that people are not supposed to use their cell phones during the show, and I'm glad that everyone that I could see adhered to it. It was a refreshing change from most other concerts I've been to, where most of what you see is screens.
Myself, Yvette Offor, and family enjoy ourselves. Hate for it to end
Incredibly intimate high end venue. Feels like a shrunken arena. Mezzanine level is best view!
The Moody Theater has the greatest acoustics of any venue in Austin and truly makes concerts an incredible experience. The lineup of performers coming through here for free ACL Live tapings is always so impressive. Even the paid events often feature the best of the best. Now if only the drinks didn't cost so damn much.
I saw Common it was laid back and I had a very good time!
The best shows in Austin come here! Love the setup, and the location!
First time to this venue. Attractive building inside and out. Had the best time.
quaint & cozy venue off the drag... nice staff. Be prepared for limited space. outdoor patio is a neat option!
This is a good middle sized music venue. Sounds is good throughout. No seating. If the weather is good they can open the rear wall to a small deck.
The venue has great staff and great views from any seat in the theatre. The location is convenient and very pretty, with easily accessible public parking. The shows I saw here were amazing too, thanks to the artists.
The drinks are very, very overpriced -- $10 for a Jack and Coke, yikes. The seats themselves are horrible if you're anywhere higher than a size 9, hideously uncomfortable and even painful. Fat people should not have to purchase ADA seating just to watch a show, but at this venue, that is definitely the case. This could be easily resolved by making the armrests moveable, or adding more folded chair seating. Elevator and wheelchair accessibility is abominable.
Great venue! Seats are set perfectly to give everyone a great show. And perfect location I hate having to go to an obscure location.
I went to see Judas Priest tonight at ACL Live and it was one of the worst concert experiences I ve ever had. Halfway through the show a fight broke out next to me in the pit with two guys. One of them had the other by the throat and pushing him into everyone while yelling and beating him. This and the lead up to it (yelling, shoving and such) went on for almost 10 minutes. I noticed some other patrons tried to get security and notify staff, but no one ever came. Next time I ll have to think twice about going here, because that was just unacceptable.
Great place to see a live show! The patio is a nice place to grab a drink before the show or taping. Only complaint is that it is usually freezing inside. Just be prepared!
Nice area with two bars side by side to the stage. Needs better organization in the seat arrangement/numbers. Several people (myself included) were seating at the wrong seat.
Best acustics that I have ever heard, weather in seats or in the floor, it's a treat !
No bad seats in the place. You were pretty close to stage even in the balcony seats.
Awesome staff. Watched a ACL rerun on big screen before the show. Very helpful bartender on Thursday show.
Went to a concert here on a Friday night. I was super impressed with the acoustics. The sound was outstanding. Place was easy to get in and out of the staff was very nice.
Amazing views on all levels, multiple bars too, so your never in line too long
The concert was everything, thanks Jill, can't walt until next time
Great place, good size, and stage is not too far from the very back!
Intimate venue where all seats are within 40' of the stage. Several bars (expensive) but their not shy about giving out good drinks. Would appreciate a better wine selection though... This visit we saw the Mack, Jack and Mcconaughey show which is always fantastic.
Event staff was very helpful with the questions we had, bartender knew how to mix drinks properly, had clean bathrooms. Overall a great experience.
Phenomenal venue and experience! By far the best venue I've ever enjoyed live music at. Easy to get to, great staff, great service and great drinks! Unfortunately not very many acts that I would like to see seem to go through here, but that has nothing to do with the venue.
I ve been to ACL Moody Theater so many times. What else can you say. It s great!
I love the location of the new ACL studios. I am glad it has been bringing in more artist to Austin. However, my only complaint is that the seats are too small. I am not overweight and just a normal size woman with curves, but if I was any bigger, I would be very uncomfortable in the balcony seats.
What's not to like about this multipurpose music theater?!? Sort of wish the floor had angled seating, but in the tradition of the old ACL filming in the UT RTF studio, it gives the same old school vibe, with far better acoustics and bars.
Moody was on Pollstar's Best New Major Concert Venue for a reason, it's a really great place to catch a show and if you're lucky, to snag spots to an ACL taping. The theater is at the same time spacious and intimate.
This place is so great. Everytime I've been - the people are great, the atmosphere is great, Awesome views and awesome artists! Go check out the upstairs and you'll find some awesome displayed art as well!
Nice place ... clean ... attentive and friendly staff !!
One of the best venues for live music in the world.
One of the best venues for quality acoustics in Austin.
Good event venue in downtown Austin. I love coming here for events. Drinks are available because there are several bars throughout. Good bartenders too.
Loved the music, needs better lighting when finding your seat.
I love this venue! I've attended the Social Media Awards show and numerous other events there. The acoustics are outstanding; and the decor is funky retro. I really like the lighted bar chairs in some parts of the venue. Bar drinks are freaking expensive for what you get unless they are trying to get rid of a previously prepared concoction from another event.
The venue itself is great, but the seats are very small, like hope you have a 32in or less waist small
Great place, it feels intimate and you can really be part of the show.
Socially distant football was awesome, great work ACL folks.
Love this place. Have seen so many great shows and tapings
Great venue with excellent seats. The security line was long, but they were quick. Violent Femmes rocked it!!
Great venue drawing excellent artist! Drinks are inexpensive and the wait for alcohol is minimal.
THE PICTURES BAND enjoyed performing here twice for a couple of wonderful events!
Fun small theater. Not a bad seat literally. Their security is a bit over the top.
Beautiful Venue with a Gorgeous View. Clean facility, clean bathrooms, and helpful and friendly staff!
Beer is expensive, but that's kind of to be expected. I wasn't a huge fan of the acoustics inside but overall ok
I've seen so many good shows here!!! Robert Plant, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Queens of the Stone Age, Rodrigo Y Gabriella...the list goes on. It's an intimate venue, big enough to house the big names but small enough so that you can clearly see the performers from every seat. This is my favorite live music venue in Austin, and that's saying something
Excellent venue! The acoustics are phenomenal! There are no bad seats - even the sides which can often be horrible - offer an unimpeded view of the stage! There's a bar on every level decreasing wait times. And Willie is right out front! Can't wait for my next opportunity to see a show there!
Absolutely the best place to see a show. The sound quality and smaller setting allows for a more personable feel. Watching Ed Sheeran live taping and I am beyond happy. His songs bring back some beautiful memories. Amazing!
I had such a great time at the concerts I attended at ACL live. It's a cool venue and pretty spacious! Very classy as well.
