80% of the time this a great venue at any occasion. That said, my last experience here was a little disappointing. It was a small composer concert. Normally I would think this venue the perfect setting but there were three major things that detracted in this setting. First the left side speakers had constant feedback which took away from the subtle toned, second there was what sounded to be a refrigerator fan somewhere to right of the stage that was constantly screeching. Third, one of the staff had incredibly squelchy shoes. This isn't a problem during pop, rock, or country concerts but it is incredibly distracting for small, intimate, orchestra settings that have quieter music and a more intimate ambiance.

Life Austin Church has their Sunday morning service here at 10:30, decided to check it out. Absolutely phenomenal! I really had a great time worshipping God and the ministry was really rich, just good full preaching and praying and loving God. Gotta check it out if you'd like to see a good, Christ loving church!!!

After purchasing tickets to a show six months in advance I was diagnosed with a debilitating illness. I was unable to stand for long periods and was vomiting everyday. ACL refused to refund the money for my ticket. I even asked if the funds could be held for a later show when I would be better. They refused and offered no reason or any other options.

Attended Rumours Fleetwood Mac concert it was my first indoor concert since the pandemic started. If you believe you would be comfortable attending an indoor concert then ACL live handled it about as well as you can, social distancing limited seating, temperature checks, hand sanitizer. I felt perfectly comfortable and the concert was excellent.

Went to see Dave Chappelle. The row behind me 2 people that continued to make loud and obnoxious political comments in response to every joke.

Me, and a another person in my row had to get up several times to speak to an usher about this issue. Nothing was done. Wish there was a policy or warning system to prevent issue from continuing.

Until this venue actually does something about PHONE and TABLET use during a show, I will not return. I watched the entire show on the idiot's tablet in front of me. Plus, the woman next to me hogged the arm rest the whole time. It was a bad experience.

A cosy and clean venue in the heart of Austin. The security guards manning the street entry were ill-informed of proceedings, but the staff inside the venue were very friendly and helpful. I took a ride share to and from the venue without any issue on a Friday.

Love moody theatre, because they have great artists. They have bars in every section with good drinks also. However there are certain spots the sound is super loud and hard to understand the words. I've never quite heard that at another venue. Every seat does have a great view though of the stage.

This is such an excellent venue; though it's typically pricey to see a show here, it's got massive appeal because of its ample space, amazing climate control (you won't sweat your butt off here) and great sound quality. Though drinks are expensive, that's what you trade for an awesome balcony and great location downtown.

Came here for the first time and was able to see Bob Weir, and was blown away by the sound and the venue. What a great experience it was. There is not a bad seat in the house, and the entrance and lobby areas have plenty of room to move around. The balcony is configured in such a way that every seat is about the same distance from the stage, so no matter what seat you're in you have great sight and sound lines. Weir and his band did not disappoint, a full set of country and western, ballads and some rock & roll. After intermission a Grateful Dead jam session that musically took you everywhere. A great show and a great venue!

I went to see Judas Priest tonight at ACL Live and it was one of the worst concert experiences I ve ever had. Halfway through the show a fight broke out next to me in the pit with two guys. One of them had the other by the throat and pushing him into everyone while yelling and beating him. This and the lead up to it (yelling, shoving and such) went on for almost 10 minutes. I noticed some other patrons tried to get security and notify staff, but no one ever came. Next time I ll have to think twice about going here, because that was just unacceptable.

I was highly disappointed in this venue. The sound was terrible in the mezzanine. When the performers talked, I couldn t even understand it because the sound seemed muffled. I had a table and there was a door behind it that people kept going in and out of, which was noisy and distracting. The temperature was freezing and a lot of people were complaining about that. I can t really think of a positive thing to say. Overall, way overpriced and unhappy with the experience.

Great venue! Seating was comfortable and it's small enough that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Getting through security was fast. I would definitely come here for another concert.

We love this venue! Great sound. Very clean. Nice bar. Not much in the way of food, but plenty of choices nearby. Just go ahead and pay the ten bucks and park in the garage next door. I will say that if you don't (or can't) do stairs, consider seats that are not in the balcony.
