There's a lot of grass and trees. Sometimes there's people there. And dogs.

Great trees to look, but there's some goofy geese that heckle people by the pond

Lots of new exciting exhibits!! Had a blast at the Asian Heritage Festival.

Beaufitul large park with a nice bistro by the golf course and a decent zoo. The park itself is worth a visit for a light stroll and beafutiful nature

We were wanting to do the train ride since we are very short on time but there is no clear direction on where to go. Just overpriced for all the experience, but all in all, it's nice!

Very beautiful and very large zoo. Diverse group of animals with something for every animal lover. Spent a couple hours here with friends and taking pics. Cafe food is what negates a perfect score.

Beautiful park. If walking not an issue , can be just exhilarating. Get to see lots of wild life and some fabulous trees. Nice atmosphere day and evening

went for Mothers Day...what a letdown. No gorillas, no elephants, no lions.
they were all put inside because it was HOT. Are you kidding me? these animals are suppose to survive in Africa... drove over 100 miles to see flamingos.

The best choice for family is to have a seasonal pack. This include The Audubon zoo and the zoo cool, (children water park) very convenient specially in NOLA, the insectuarium, the butterfly garden also the aquarium with Imax 3D theatre .

Horrible. There was hardly no animals out and they are ghetto and not friendly. We got rained out and they were not sympathetic at all. That was my first and last time.

One of the most beautiful parks! I especially like the effort they made to be bee and butterfly friendly.

Took a Sunday stroll on a Tuesday afternoon through the park. Saw a sweet swing to rest my body upon. Very pretty flowers and landscaping. I liked it.

Awesome place! Play ground for the kids includes a handicap swing! A wheel chair ramp is currently under construction to easily push strollers and wheel chairs onto the sidewalk from the street. Jogging track for running and bikes!

We purchased a membership, and brought our girls for the first time. My only complaint was that as they were closing and it was time to leave, the picture we took when we arrived (3 hours earlier) was not ready yet. My 3 year old twins and my 4 year old were exhausted and ready to go.

Such a gorgeous park in NOLA, very clean, a lot of ducks and turtles. Right across the street from the St. Charles Streetcar.

Its nice, pretty, and clean but it's also too expensive and still doing construction work. Then some animals the kids seek are not there.

My family enjoyed this place so much we bought a yearly pass and went 2 years in a row. The Zoo was absolutely beautiful. The staff was very educational and friendly. The animals are very well taken care of. This is a great place to take your family for an experience you will remember for years to come.

I was SO disappointed after driving 2hrs to get here. Idk WHAT is going on but the area is severely lacking in every regard. The ZOO was a BIG disappointment. Parking was terrible. Not enough handicapped parking. I had to park a 1/2 mile away so I WAS exhausted BEFORE I even got to the front gate. Variety of animals was lacking. NEXT TIME I WILL GO TO THE BATON ROUGE ZOO.

Nice uptown park with a sidewalk loop. Great for bicycling or walking your bastard children.

Always a treat, year after year. Bring drinks and snacks. It is an all day trip. Avoid hottest of summer days.

There were a lot of unavailable animals to be seen unfortunately.

The zoo was really nice..but if you use the trolley, wait for shuttle at drop off point OR be prepared to walk almost 2 miles to get to zoo entrance.

Although it was muddy and collects water easily, it's a big park with water, playgrounds, and shelters.

Very nicely designed park! Great place for family fun! The food was not that great but good experience none the less.

Surprisingly well maintained. Lotsa cool birds. Too bad zoo isn't free like in Chicago's Lincoln Park

Always a great time at the zoo. Liked all the holiday decorations for boo at the zoo.

This park is beautiful. It's my favorate place to walk my dog in the city. It has become my saturday morning routine. From the trees to the surrounding houses to the views of Laloyla University. This place is awesome.

I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone out for a stroll. If you have a car or a bike that's fine. But don't expect to get from one part of the park to another by foot (even if you're okay with the distance) because it's not designed that way.

It's a big zoo with a lot of animals to see. If you come at the right time you won't be disappointed. If you come late you might miss some animals. They are doing renovations and are adding a new part to the zoo. I look forward to seeing it when it's finished.

Beautiful experience. The park is much bigger than I initially expected, so word of advice, take a bottle of water with you because they're not cheap at the park. The zoo says it closes at 5, but when we got there they informed us that the animals are taken in at 4, so if you want to see every attraction, plan to be there hours ahead of closing time.

Beautiful park to walk, ride bike, or just sit and enjoy the day. Pond, ducks, swans.
