Audubon Park and Zoological Garden Review

A great place to go for "kid friendly" New Orleans. Our two year old adores this zoo, but our nephews (12 and 14) had a blast too. The ropes course was a big hit!

Cats enclosures are wayyy to small. Pretty place looks wise but that's it.

One of my favorite zoos. Handlers actually seen to care for their wards. If you can't see the animals in their natural habitat it's the next best thing.

Beautiful park. The Tree of Life is a must see in this park.

Watch out for a the dog . People don't seem to clean up their messes.

My kids enjoyed it,, if u don't like heat like I don't then maybe it won't be good for u ,,but if ur like me & willing to do anything to see ur kids smile, then a nice shaded hat & cold lemonade should hold u for awhile my babies enjoyed their self

Wonderful outdoor exhibits, restaurants, and activities. Walking trails all through the site. Had a blast!

Love this park... Specially in June. If you don't have much time to visit don't go on a swamp tour, just visit Nola's parks

Great for family walks and strolls with the baby and both dogs. Every Sunday we walk once around the park, have a picnic, and feed the ducks and turtles. We even saw a bunch of kids playing the Harry Potter fictional game: quidditch.

Great zoo. Feels empty on the left side, because of all the walking to get to the exhibits.

Always love this park for so many different activities - kids play, leisurely walk, observing nature. However, reserving a pavillion for a 2 hr kid's party is obscenely expensive

Clean park with beautiful trees. Would come here rain or shine.

Excellent place to have a picnic. Always love visiting here. Just make sure you leave before the mosquitoes come.

It was extremely hot but it was fun. The kids loved seeing the animals.

This place is beautiful, I could go for a walk here everyday. It's super easy to stay healthy in New Orleans.

We enjoyed our walk from the St. Charles Street Car back to the Audubon Zoo.

First time back in awhile! Great to be back! It looks wonderful with plenty to see and watch. The staff is extremely helpful.

I love our zoo!! It was great when I was a kid and now that I have kids, it's even better. I love the fact that I got to watch the zoo grow from the little zoo it was to what it is now. I will always love and support our zoo and the Audubon Nature Institution.

Excellent park, to walk, exercise, organize meetings. Animals and plants very cared for. It has a pedestrian and bicycle path. It is very easily reached by Magazine st or by St Charles.

Hot, lazy lake is very small but a good set up, very expensive ,great food. Need more shade its summer.

I take over 500 kids here every Summer and with the group rates for entry and cool zoo it's affordable and fun for all the kids that go. They also give you an awesome elephant for your group.

Such a wonderful and clean park. The park has installed to play areas as well as workout equipment for every range of skill. The play equipment is so different then any other park that my son and I have been to. They really thought outside of the box to create such amazing features. The location is perfect and absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of ducks, geese and birds to feed as well as bathrooms, picnic pavilions, and plenty of trees with ample shade to lay under, climb or even set a hammock in.

Beautiful zoo. Great place for families and very interactive displays. Well worth a visit. Buy the Autobon Experience tickets, they get you into the zoo, aquarium and insectariam.

I do not know why New Orleans officials pay little attention to the street on magazine this is one of the worst streets in New Orleans and probably one of the most busiest but still the streets are the holiest

Really great place to go to beat the hustle and bustle of the city (at least when we went) pretty pricey tho....

Awesome place to observe nature. Take pictures and see Giant Oaks. Take your shoes off and feel thw vibes of mother Earth.

Beautiful Park designed by John Charles Olmsted, the adopted son of Frederick Law Olmsted, the designer of New York's Central Park. For over a decade this has been my favorite location in New Orleans for picnics, exercise, and getting together with friends for various casual sports.

Honestly the most fun you can have with your family in new Orleans. Great because behind the park there's a couple sports fields and zoo.

I love this place. It's wonderful to bring my son here and we always enjoy ourselves.

This zoo is so much fun to visit! I've been dozens of times and it never gets old, great exhibits and it's not overwhelmingly huge so you can actually see everything in a reasonable amount of time. I love when they have the animals out and you can pet them! Especially the elephant!

This zoo is really big. I had so much fun even though it started to rain lol. Also the tiger kept staring at me .
