Horrible is an understatement. I contacted Audi in the middle of May in order to take advantage of their monthly May special for their Audi A4. I spoke to a sales rep and told them I pretty much was a guaranteed sale and that I would like to work on a time in order to check out the vehicle. The next two to three weeks would consist of nothing but emails from random people at Audi asking if I would like to still purchase the vehicle I would respond yes Can you please call me? I would never receive a phone calI, but instead I would just get emails every single day asking the same question, Finally I called the sales manager Frank, who couldn't have done a worse job. Not only did he not honor the deal that I was interested in he tried to upsell me on a 2020 vehicle for double the price, and this is after I told him the story of the laughable service I received. The remainder of the conversation ended up being nothing but arguing about on how to treat customers. I ended up hanging up on him because I couldn't believe the service I was receiving. I ended up getting a call back immediately with the caller ID "Mercedes Auto Parts". We spoke for a little bit longer, any continued to try to upsell me. Not only did I not purchase a vehicle, but in my next sales conference I will be using Audi as an example of how not to treat their customers. It's a shame considering I thought audio was a "luxury brand"

I ve bought 3 Audis in the past 10 years. 2 from this dealer. More recently it feels like they are just trying to get me to pay more and more whether that s sales or service. The guy who deals with loaner cars is also absurdly rude, every single time. I ve found Resnak Audi in Pasadena to be much less expensive and more professional. Recently Resnak gave me a bid that was $800 cheaper for a service they had the parts for and could do in one day. Downtown Audi thought at least two days, $800 higher bid, and weren t even sure they could install a part they advertise on Audi USA. And I waited several days to take my car in do they could get he parts they weren t sure about. Really unprofessional at best. Unfortunately downtown audi is closer to me. So I will still have to go there some but if I could, based on my recent experiences, I d go to Resnak Audi in Pasadena every time.
We were looking at a vehicle when a nice gentleman who worked there informed us we could not park in the lot in front of the dealership. We decided to take his invitation to leave, as the vehicle we were looking at was covered in scratches and had a broken headlight...
Went to downtown Audi, had two nails in my tire, one in the front tire one in the rear tire, so they quoted me $628 for two new tires, I waited for 45 minutes to tell me you need new tires, I went to this mom and pop shop in Ktown, They said the nails weren t deep enough to do any damage, put air back in my tires and charge me $10, Beware of the service department of Audi/ Downtown, get a second opinion, I will never do business with this place again, I called to complain they never return my call, when my lease is up I will go to Beverly Hills Audi, Once you sign that lease they have nothing to do with you, you re on your own. And I will be calling Audi of America to make a complaint .
Pretty bad experience with this showroom. They sold us a car which had dent and defective rear view mirror. They made us sign the papers before showing the car that we are supposed to get.
EXCELLENT SERVICE, EVERY ONE THERE IS REALLY NICE, THE BEST SERVICE EVER, I WILL NOT CHANGE THEM FOR ANY ONE ELSE. DOWNTOWN LA MOTERS IS #1 FOR ME !!!!!!! THE BEST
I get my 08 Audi RS4 serviced here for regular maintenance and Jorge (George) has been my service advisor for a few years now. He is extremely professional, genuine, and honest about your service needs. Highly recommend Audi of Downtown LA and George to anyone wanting to get their car serviced!
Disappointing: I urgently needed parts Saturday around 11am, called the parts department, no answer, left a voicemail stating the urgency. Wrote them an email a min later as well with all details and I still do not have the parts :(
Absolutely Fantastic! I had a very tricky situation and Roger was my best resource. I had gone to almost every Audi dealer in the greater Los Angeles region with no luck. Roger, with the help of the amazing finance team at Audi DTLA, put me in an epic A4. I can not recommend this dealer or the staff enough. Roger went out of his way to reach out and coordinate around my hectic schedule, consistently going above and beyond. To anyone considering this dealer- they strive to make customers for life. You're making the right choice by shopping here. Happy to be a part of the Audi family. Thank you, Roger.
What a nightmare. I've been buying cars from Audi for ten years. Now, after a drunk driver totaled my car while I was at dinner nearby, I'm being brushed aside as if I'm not a customer. Here is the shady nature of Audi: My buyout was 47k on my A7; AAA payout was 58k. Audi financial retroactively changed my buyout to match the higher payout so they could make 11k while still requiring me to continue the lease payments. Effectively double charging me for the additional two-month interim. They made it clear that I would not receive any reimbursements. When I asked if there was a program to get me into another car, the answer was, "Buy a new one," but I can't until this account closes. Until then, I'm without a car. While I was there, another customer was screaming as he left saying I'll never buy another Audi. Audi is not a luxury car company, and after ten years with them, I can say I share the screaming man's sentiment. By-the-way, today, their CEO was charged with fraud, very poetic.
i got my car there, and they did not put my file in the audi system, made me can not pay my bill and drop my credit for late payment, also always can not get someone to help after purchase.
On October 7th, 2015 I decided to contact Downtown Audi to do the second test on a oil consumption test that was first done on a Covina Audi dealership. Reason why i did not contact Covina again was because i wasn't very happy with the way I was treated so I thought I'd try downtown Audi. When I made my call Wednesday October 7, 2015 I was transferred over to services and I asked if I could be scheduled in on Friday October 9, 2015 because my low oil light has been on for a day. I was able to book the appointment with no problem, and was told that the car was going to be there for about a week. I was told not to worry, that Audi will have a loaner for me. I called Thursday afternoon and asked if I can go in that same day because my car now read that oil needs to be added immediately and i was afraid to smoke the engine. I was told that unfortunately they had no loaner cars available, that I was already scheduled for Friday I left my office early Friday to make sure I was there on time for the same very reason that I didn't want to get left out without a loaner car. After waiting my turn, I was told that I wasn't in the system, which I find very funny because there was a piece of paper with couple names that were scheduled in for a loaner car and my name was one of them. So I don't understand how I couldn't be on the system. After giving my full name & phone number several times they had to "add me to the List" as they called it. To make matters worst they ended up telling me that they did not have a loaner vehicle for me. I came to an agreement that I'd come back in on October 10, 2015 since i had forgotten my wallet. He assured me that a loaner vehicle would be ready for me. So I agreed, I arrived there October 10,2015 at 8:45am and after my existence being ignore for a minute they had the guts to tell me that Audi doesn't give out loaner vehicles on the weekend by the service manager. Obviously that's a lie. At this point, I'm already upset because it seems as if the dealership does not want to give me a loaner vehicle, and likes to play games with me. I walked away and was helped by another gentleman by the name of "Luchie Bennette" who said that they once again had no loaner vehicle for me, that I will be issued one by a rental place down the street. I asked if its going to be an Audi and he said it could be anything from a corolla to a Mercedes. I hate to sound picky but I was already promised a loaner vehicle, why should I drive anything else besides what I was promised. After exchanging words I finally agreed to get a rental. When I got to the rental place the lady said that the code that Audi had given in the paper work was only for a basic make. Which was a TOYATA COROLLA. That's a vehicle that my 45 year old mother drives. There's a reason why I purchased an Audi and not a Toyota. I felt mistreated once again. I called back the Audi dealership and was told that I can ask for an upgrade, but that Audi would not cover that. That to me is a slap in the face. How are they going to promise you a loaner car, then send you off to a rental with a code that only allows you to get a basic make. As a result of lies from the dealership and horrible service I ended up getting an upgrade that's going to cost me $15 a day. Sure it may not seem like a lot but x's 7 days. That's $105 i didn't have to spend. It's not even about the money it's about the disloyalty to the customer. Got an email from Mr. YI this morning who seems to use different email accounts and names on yelp and a apologize to everyone having the same issue. All i got was a some what apology, and not why i never received a loaner & had to pay out of my own pocket so i wont drive a corolla. I was also promised a loaner by today October 12, 2015 and to my surprise Audi didn't keep their word. All i asked if for Mutual respect and that my car gets better service then i got.
Phil Kang made the toughest part of getting a new car - negotiating the price - a smooth and easy process. He was up-front and honest regarding available discounts and was able to give me the best offer to meet my budget.
I love coming here! Cash Yi always answers any questions I have and helps me schedule my car maintenance. He's my go to person when my family and I look for new cars. He introduced me to Jorge Serrano who took care of my Audi maintenance and service. I appreciated how Jorge Serrano updated me with mobile texts even though it was a very busy day for them. Jorge Serrano was very polite and they even washed my car!
Christian, the Internet Sales Manager was personable, very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased and overall Audi as a brand. He was very professional, thorough and a class act from start to finish.
Armen the finance manager was also fantastic and worked very hard to provide me the best options and customer experience. Also very professional and did amazing job getting me through the process in the shortest amount of time possible.
I am very satisfied with the work, the efficiency, the good hospitality and above all the professionalism of this branch, especially because of the great work, Jorge Serrano is a great example of customer service to follow. I hope the audi oxnard branch will take for example the audi downtown branch in how to serve customers. Audi downtown They are the best. Thank you .
Above and beyond! Service department were wonderful today. Freddi (I think!) was so courteous and helpful as I was there with my children. All associates are wonderful here, very different experience to going to car showrooms in Glendale for example- especially as a woman. Everyone at this garage is respectful. Service is always top notch.
Salespeople are slimy and rude. They never gave us a copy of our lease, we had to ask for it. They also tried to lie to us about how many miles were included in the lease. We are loyal Audi customers, but will never return to this dealership other than to turn in our car.
Great experience working with Kit. We agreed on a price for a new Audi lease online. When we arrived to the dealership our car was already detailed and waiting for us. Minimal time was spend on paperwork. No gimmicks, no pressure. What we agreed through emails was delivered. Kit was extremely nice and very accommodating. The car was exactly as we needed and the price was really good. Thank you guys
Cool at first but when I refinanced my car they all switched there emails or don't even reply to my email at all an when ever I call they don't even want to bother to help me or make an appointment for my car's mandatory check up an I still pay for the deluxe package an get less than minimal service they don't even want to bother helping me change my wheels that have a nail in them saying I have to pay full price like really all I got it a nail couldn't patch it up or even try to make a deal or work with me still to this day after 1 year haven't bothered to email me about a single thing do not trust them got Audi a3 Quattro premium. When they do your oil change they don't even change it they just add oil to make it normal level an that's about it they do the most to save money when they make alot of money already scandless they still don't reply to my emails lol
I went to this location to test drive an A4. Gabriel talked to me on the phone and helped me when I got there. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and answered all my questions. The A4 I checked out looked really nice and clean. Even though I wasn't able to make a purchase decision today because I had just started looking, I would highly recommend checking out this place because I felt welcomed and not pressured or rushed at all.
Eddie really helped me out with a loaner car when I got my Audi serviced. I was in and out in less than 24 hours and received my bill online so I could review it and pay it. Love coming to the Audi dealership DTLA. Thanks Eddie Perez!
Stephan Khukoyan and everyone else at Audi of Downtown L.A. were very helpful in the search for my first car. I walked away feeling enthused and in love with my ride. Would recommend this dealership to anyone.
I was helped by Preston Jimenez who sold me an Audi A4 he was nothing but nice and understanding he walked me around the car and showed me what special features it had and how comfortable it was. During the buying process he fully made sure I was understanding the process completely we was nothing but patient and willing to work with me to help me get the best deal for this car. Thank you for the amazing service
They are so courteous & professional , as soon as I drove up someone came out to guide me on what I had to do .. I went in for a recall I thought it could take longer then the time they said it would take they surprised me it was on time , The really good part is that they send you a video of them performing a multi inspection on my car they check tires , brakes etc .. The service technician Valentin Rautescu was so nice & helpful ... I m so glad that I got my Audi Q8 from them ..
We signed our lease on Apr 27th 2019 and have been waiting A MONTH but haven't received any related docs about my car. No DMV registration, no licensee plate, no letter from Audi USA, but only one system email reminding me to register my car on MyAudi. Since this is not the first time I lease a car (other 2 times with other brands and dealers), I do feel it a bit weird for them to take such a long time for processing. But I still wanted to be patient and trust the process.
On 5/22, only 5 days left till my due day including weekends and holiday, after a couple of times of failure to register online I finally called the customer service of Audiusa. And I was told that THERE S NO INFORMATION, ABOUT MY CAR, AT ALL, IN THE AUDI CORPORATE SYSTEM YET. That said, it s been a whole month from signing the lease and THE DEALER HASN'T SUBMITTED MY INFO OR REGISTERED MY CAR WITH AUDIUSA AND DMV!
The customer service lady checked the dates and details on my contract, and it turned our that this lack of information confused her too. She has been very understanding about my concern to the approaching due date but since there's nothing in the system she could not just charge my card for the next payment. So she suggested me calling my dealer immediately to fix the issue and find out where I can pay my next lease payment.
I called, and then the ball started to roll and nobody would like to take it. Voicemail box full, no body answer the phone, put us on hold for 20min+ if answered... And we finally were told that they didn't know if they had sent out our docs or not, but to wait for another day since the financial person wasn't in office and only he has the access to his computer to check. The other day we called in, the financial guy still didn't come in office, either, and we were told to wait one more day.
I finally get in touch with the sales manager who sold this car to us in the first place, and he promised to get back to me by Friday noon, 5/24. While the response I have been waiting for so long was just downtown la audi would submit my contact SOON and they will to take my payment for this time. I will be receiving letters from Audiusa and registration later, and then do the rest of the payment thing later online in the way it supposedly to be. I sent back the credit card authorization form within 2 hours and told them again this need to be processed before 27th since I don't want to miss any due date. They replied yes they will but I haven't seen any charge till today and I asked again and no body replies, again!
My point is super simple: I DON'T WANT TO MISS ANY DUE DATE AND I DON'T WANT TO HAVE ANY OVERDUE PAYMENT TO HURT MY CREDIT. NOW I HAVE THIS OVERDUE PAYMENT NOT BECAUSE I MISSED IT BUT THE DEALER!! WILL AUDI OF DOWNTOWN LA FIX MY CREDIT FOR ME? AND HOW??!!
Remember when I called dtla audi they called this a "LONGER-THAN-USUAL DELAYED PROCESS", and I just don't want to argue with them about such a poor excuse since seemed like they were trying to fix the issue for me. But maybe I was wrong, since what they did and are doing, shows 100% they are not taking care of my issue professionally, promptly and appropriately.
Honestly, this is not the first time I lease a car and, HOW COMPLICATED THIS PROCESS CAN BE, SO THAT A DEALER NEEDS TO TAKE MORE THAN 1 MONTH TO REGISTER MY CAR? MAKE THE CUSTOMER GO OVERDUE ON HER PAYMENT?!! THEY JUST FORGOT TO DO THEIR JOB!!!
Just cannot image an auto dealer, located in downtown LA, under such a big brand name, would provide service like this.
Daniel Saldana is always great. He is informative and always speaks to me bluntly about my car. I really don't trust taking my benz anywhere else......
Our sales rep Amir was incredibly friendly and helpful while deciding what options in a car would be best for us. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond. He is very knowledgeable about audi vehicles. We appreciated that he was not pushy. He took great care of us through the whole process. He even came in on his day off to finish the purchase. Overall, a wonderful salesperson.
Took my car in for service. They really took care of me. They accommodated my time (needed the car back on Saturday). They were out of loaners, and got me a loaner from a sister store, gave me a very good price. All in all would recommend heartily.
2 stars for their service department. There was a recall for my vehicle s gas tank, and they said my gas tank was fine but they put a protective film over just in case. So a month later my gas tank valve cracked, and gasoline was spitting out of my rear passenger seats. I had to also take my car to another mechanic to inspect first because Audi service told me they were going to charge $250 for the inspection. There was clearly visible cracks, so the film was applied, so I was told by my mechanic. They finally replace it during the second visit, but I would ve gone through much less trouble if they just replaced it the first time, and now I can still smell the gasoline inside my car.
I had a new engine put in my A5 2.0 tfsi about 1 year and 6 months from these guys and also some new rotors and pads on all 4 tires . my car feels so smooth i cant stop driving it. I can hear a hiss sound from the engine sometimes. It might be a hose ill take it to them later lol
But a car from Gabriel, he took care of my husband!!! Also, the service manager and Jorge are very helpful. Perry was very friendly, but too busy to respond to emails and text s, which I don t mind because Gabriel took care of everything I needed....
Made an enquiry to Kit Chieng at the dealership. He was professional followed up and gave us a very good deal. We ultimately selected another brand but were very impressed.
I love this place.. if you go to buy a car ask for zurich he treated us about the best you could ask to be treated .. i don't look like i can afford a new audi with no shoes on and not dressed that great but it didn't seam to bother these guys. He went above and beyond in customer service quality. In fact i will be driving the extra miles from rancho cucamonga to get my car serviced there instead of going to west covina that is much closer to me but not worth it..
STAY AWAY for this Dealership. BAIT and SWITCH . Didn't deliver on promise and forged documents. I traded in my 2015 A4 for a 2017A4 . Dealer agreed to pay my mileage overages but instead I receive a bill from finance for 3000.00 dollar. I call the dealership to inform them of this mistake . Never receive a call back. Looked up the GM Roger Song email . He replied with a sorry your out of luck email. Do yourself a favor and go else were. I will be taking them to court.
The interaction with the staff went exactly as expected, the process was smooth with no surprises. Complimentary services, like coffee, cookies, and shuttle service were very helpful as well. The online video technology sent via text is very convenient as well.
It was a very friendly and relaxed experience. Never did we feel rushed or pressured. Everyone was very accommodating and willing to negotiate to help get us everything we wanted at a fair price. They even saved us money and found a better interest rate than i was expecting. My husband an I are both in high end and upscale sales and we notice everything. We appreciate when sales staff know their craft and read the audience appropriately. Often my husband and I are underestimated and unskilled salesmen loose sales because of it. This was not the case at all. We found the experience perfect for us. As a Sales Manager myself I never felt the need to critique one aspect. Completely satisfied.
I have taken my Q5 for service at Audi on a few occasions now, and every time Valentine Rautescu has gone above and beyond to take care of my vehicle and me. The whole team is great, but he keeps in constant contact with updates, and I've never left unsatisfied with my service. Love Audi of Downtown LA!
I have owned 2 audis and my service experience started at Santa Monica audi. That experience was awful. I started taking my original Audi to dtla after horrible customer service and quality of work at Santa Monica. Valentine has always been my guy, since the very first visit. I have never once left dtla Audi with anything but a smile on my face. He is prompt in getting back to you, always is honest about the work and its price, and goes out of his way to accommodate in any way possible. Often he has to deal with my wife so he balances two sets of calls. I purchased my second Audi from dtla because of Valentine. No joke. My third audi will be purchased this year and I will do that from dtla as well. He has helped get my ski rack put on in record time, tires changed at the last minute for road trips. He is a good man that looks out for his people and I don't even like dealing with other people there because of that. Quality employees are hard to find and harder to keep. I am happy that Audi makes it worth his while to stay.
This place is awesome. Very professional service . All the staff are great. Fredi Urieta is a very professional and very nice person . Thank you so much
I've had to deal with Audi of Downtown L.A. twice since moving to Los Angeles from Houston and have had horrible experiences in both circumstances. My latest visit had me being told that it was going to cost $90 and an hour of my time to retrieve the code to unlock my audio system after it had retreated to "Safe" mode when I changed the battery in my car. I had been told previously by Audi of Downtown L.A. that if I had the 17 digit ID for my car, that it would be able to be retrieved over the phone. When I refused to pay $90 for something that they could easily solve, I was told "Well, you should've had your battery changed here then".
Luchie is the guy that assisted me with my car services. He gave me options and recommendations. He asked me questions to find out what I wanted and what I was expecting. He educated me on what the different terms meant. I left Audi of DTLA satisfied and excited about my next visit. I always receive great service here. It is my preferred dealership.
I recently went to Audi of Downtown LA- I was shopping to purchase my dream car, uncertain it would happen for me. The very excellent car salesman Amir Khoury assisted me and in no time at all I drove off in my beautiful brand new Audi! It was the most comfortable, easy, no-hassle, just lovely smooth purchase experience imaginable. Everyone was extremely professional yet kind and courteous. Highly recommended!!!
I would not recommend Audi DTLA. I bought a used car there and had issues with the registration. When I made severel attempts to get them to help / at least call me back they were no where to be found. I am a very unhappy customer and would not recommend Audi DTLA.
Overall service was great. Took my a4 to change all tires. They replaced one tire with incorrect one but they immediately corrected the issue when I went next day.
I bought a Pre-Owned Audi from this dealership in July and thought it was great, they told me they d take care of all the paperwork and I d even get my plates in the mail.
This quickly changed a month later when Kit (the salesperson I purchased the car from) tried to get me to sign some backdated documentation from the DMV. After I said I didn t feel comfortable signing a backdated document all I got was radio silence from them.
Cut to 3 months later, I still haven t received my plates in the mail and have called and emailed them countless times to no response. I actually got better service from the DMV when I called them, they told me the dealership never filed the paperwork to get me the new plates.
I don t know what shady dealings are going on here, or why on earth they d try to get clients to sign backdated documents, but when you buy a luxury vehicle you d expect luxury service, be warned this dealership does not offer that.
EDDIE PEREZ IS NUMBER ONE AT SERVICES!! I WAS HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY AUDI A5.. IT WAS MISFIRING ON 2 CYLINDERS SO I WAS HAVING A STRUGGLE GETTING TO WORK... EDDIE SAID BRING THE CAR OVER AND WE WILL CHECK IT OUT. GOT MY CAR BACK IN LESS THEN A WEEK, MISFIRES WERE FIXED, EDDIE HOOKED IT UP! IF YOU EVER HAVE ANY QUESTIONS DONT BE AFRAID TO GO TO HIM, HE WILL BE HONEST AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF EVERYTHING.
I was helped by Roger Choueiri at Audi DTLA. I had a great experience choosing my first Audi and would definitely recommend shopping here. Roger was patient, helpful, knowledgable and accommodating. I am loving my new car!
WARNING: DO NOT BUY AN AUDI. They sell defective cars where transmission needs to be fixed under 50k miles. Costs over 3k to fix and these dealerships do nothing but exploit the defect and make money off customers.
I go to this dealership to get my A4 serviced and every time I have gone there everyone is very friendly and helpful. Valentine in the service department is particularly awesome. The thought of having to take my car in to get serviced gives me anxiety because I had being stuck without a car, but my last visit Valentine got me an Uber to take me to work and pick me up. My car was checked out pretty quickly, but the conveinence of not having to wait around and be late for work really put me at ease. Also they wash your car for you : )
