This was spectacular. We arrived a smidge early but were seated immediately. The service was friendly and attentive.

We all ordered different things and everything was wonderful. The best dishes were the ones suggested by our server.

The deserts were simply stunning as were the views from our table. We were there for a special occasion and it surely felt special.

This place is amazing, simply amazing (which is good because what is paid qualifies the visitor to experience amazing). From the moment you locate and then drive onto the property, you are treated with individual interest, dignity and courtesy. Our car doors were opened for us, our names asked and then used, our vehicle valet-parked and monitored while we wandered the property waiting for our check in time. This same treatment continues in every aspect of visiting Auberge du Soleil until you depart for your next destination. The on-site restaurant and bar/grill areas serve a variety of excellent tasting meals, appetizers, and drinks from water to wine to alcoholic or non-alcoholic. We didn't have a single snack or meal or beverage that was less than great. The grounds are kept impeccably clean and orderly. All staff speak clearly and make friendly eye contact with you so you know you are being noticed and taken care of. The pool, infinity tub, hot tub, and steam rooms are excellent. We had a fantastic time in all of them and had to almost be pried out when the tubs closed for the evening. And the rooms, ohhh the rooms. Nice-to-beautiful views, an amazing tub to bathe or soak in, an abundance of pillows and a comfortable mattress, an iPad for checking or requesting things, a great sounding Bose Soundlink bluetooth speaker, complimentary beverages of all types including a bottle of wine, and so much more; just a very nice overall place to spend our downtime and get a good night's rest. We had such a good time at Auberge du Soleil that in the blink of an eye, the time was up and it was time to depart. Leaving was the only part of our time at Auberbe du Soleil that we did not enjoy.

Celebrated my birthday with dinner here and was delighted with the most incredible meal. We both selected the four course meal and had the most difficult time selecting our courses because everything was amazing. Months later we still dream about the food, drinks, and service we were wowed by during our dinner. The view isn t too shabby either!

Had a Saturday brunch reservation here. Arrived a little early so they had us go into the bar area. Great drinks and good service. Once our table was ready they brought us over to the dining section. We had a table that peered outside but heavy rain didn't give us the best view. The staff was very attentive and were very accommodating and helpful when I proposed to be soon to be Fiance. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Well, this is probably my fourth time at this restaurant over the past 10 yrs, and I most say each time I have not been treated with the level of respect as others. But, this time was the worst...The pregnant restaurant manager was the absolute horrible and completed disrespectful...I'm short of calling her racist, but her actions was very questionable if we had not been African American, would she have treated us the same way...I will not be back, when the Wine Country has so much to offer, why bother going here where you are not wanted. We where first told at 5pm, there was no reservations available until 8pm? Ha , this was the Maitre'd, so I asked that we would go into the Bistro restaurant and possibly if something opens up, please let us know..Then a really nice lady, came and offered us an opportunity to seat inside the restaurant, just not outside, we said that would be great, she said could be seated at 6pm, which was great...When it became time for us to be seated in the Restaurant, as we politely escorted to our table, I was asking if there was any other table and this pregnant women came from no where and said this to us, "that is the only seats available in the restaurant and if we didn't like it we could go back to the Bistro where we where" This was inappropriate and highly insulting to speak to anyone this way, and having a National Recording Artist with me and a Retired Fireman, how dare her... Well, we will not be back to this snooty restaurant! Very disappointed..

Fantastic views, great food and service, also pricey (even for Napa!). The smoked salmon on toast was super and so was the bone marrow. My wife had a creamy soup and said it was the best she's ever had, that's saying something! Go early and do a walk of the sculpture gardens, definately worth the visit.

One of my favorite restaurants and hotels in California. Always have a world class experience at Auberg du Soleil. I m certain they keep notes on your file as it seems the staff always seem to know exactly how I like things.

Amazing place. There are few places they make me as happy as when I m at Auberge du Soleil.

Went to the restaurant for a mother's day dinner. Went early to have drinks on the patio at the bar. The sun was glaring right on the table and server was unable to use the umbrellas. For dinner they were very accommodating since we did have to children with us. The menu had a nice selection however the majority of the entrees had lobster in them which for a person with a seafood allergy was a bit difficult. The desserts were amazing and the wait staff was kind and very professional.

I admire this restaurant! They provide decent meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I love very much tasting all their food. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the clients is nice. I often eat in this place and I was never discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.

We had an absolutely spectacular evening at the restaurant. We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairings. This was an outstanding choice as each course was brilliant from the amuse bouche to the dessert The wine pairings matched the courses sublimely.

Impressive, mind-blowing, unique!
We were on a Sunday, there was brunch, and it was spectacular.
But although the food was perfect, the best thing is the place and its views of the entire Napa Valley.

I took my dad and step-mum to l'Auberge du Soleil, a Relais & Chateaux member, last spring. We went there on a sunny Sunday for brunch. Views are absolutely breathtaking. Food is amazing - make sure to save some space for the dessert! The wine list was also impressive. Finally, the service was friendly, a very nice surprise when you think of the austere atmosphere you get in some French restaurants. A must go.

Attentive staff, gorgeous view of Napa Valley, stunning food. The wine list was pretty cool too, you browse and pick using a tablet and can forward your picks to an email address so you don't forget what you had.

This restaurant stole $855 from us. And by stole I mean charged us an incredibly high amount for tasteless and overcooked food and bad service. This place strengthens my questioning of the entire Michelin rating system. You could eat twice at bouchon or a similar place for the same price. Save your money.

We recently spent a long weekend in Yountville to celebrate a special occasion. The restaurant, staff, service, food and surroundings exceeded our expectations in every way.

Because this was a very special evening for us, I called the restaurant a few days ahead to arrange some special touches for our dinner. I want to specifically highlight Auberge s Manager Scott Trace, who could have not been any nicer and helpful in making this a perfect evening. Scott worked with me to arrange a special menu to accommodate our dietary needs, worked with the sommelier to find fantastic wines to pair with every of our courses and he and his team also supported an order of a custom flower bouquet for our table. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and everything was arranged perfectly. Our table was ready, our menu and wine matching were perfect, and we celebrated a wonderful evening.

The food was superb. Period. Every course was expertly prepared and tasted wonderful. But by far the potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms were the best course and the absolute best gnocchi either of us had ever eaten. They were indescribably light, and the flavor of the mushrooms, vegetables and sauce was out of this world easily one of the best meals either of us had had in many years.

We will for sure return to Auberge and highly recommend this restaurant!

Had the brunch menu. It's not prefix but it's that arrangement where you choose the courses from a short list. Everything was amazeballs. Go ahead and spring for that fois gras upgrade. Easily the most memorable course. Great view with a summer breeze in the patio.
