Nice. Realize you re dining at one of, if not the, most expensive day spa in Napa Valley. You will get the locally sourced ingredients expertly prepared with outstanding visual appeal. There is overhead for the location in the price. It s fair to compare it to other nearby fine dining that are going to try just as hard at lower price points. What the competition won t have is the view, this place is high on a terrace overlooking some of the most complex and beautiful areas of Napa Valley. If you re going, allow enough time to do a self guided walking tour of their art garden.

We ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning while we watched hot air balloons taking off in the distance. The views are stunning, and the food is really good as well. I will come back for sure next time I'm in Napa Valley.

Auberge is a one of a kind experience. Warm and inviting. The view is incredible and peaceful. Staff is exemplary. Food is great. They have a nice variety for the 3 course meal. Complimentary starter beverage and bread. Reservation recommended.

Aubergine was luxurious and professional. The staff was curtious and on top of everything. Plates cleared promptly and my drink was never empty! The views of Nappa Valley from the deck were breath taking especially at sunset.

Took my mother there for Memorial Day dinner, due to last min booking there were only late times so we thought we would eat a late lunch and make it work and at 8:30 we d still catch the sunset. Unfortunately they kept us waiting until after 9pm, and others too. They did apologize but maybe a Resturant of this level could have better planning. It was dark by the time we were seated and missed the sunset.

The staff were attentive to our needs and I choose the Burrata, sweat meat and beef. My mother chose the asparagus soup, sweat meat and the duck.

The food is well presented but I wouldn t say extraordinary, my main course had a piece of short rib I think off the side that was cold.

The chocolate deserts were fantastically delicious.

Worst food poisoning I have ever had, other than e...

Worst food poisoning I have ever had, other than e coli (I travel a lot). Initially, I thought it was the oysters, which i didn't really blame them; It can happen. I only spoke to my friend 24 hours later (she is a CEO and BUSY) and she had also become ill but not her husband (he didn't try my dish). She had ONE forkful of my halibut and was ill for two days. I had the entire plate and the entire toxin, to a much greater extent; It was beyond. I was screaming in pain from the cramps. I am still cringing from them, waking in the night. The worst symptoms- meaning, everything under the sun, at the same time, for 12 HOURS straight!!!!! Then, I had to catch a flight to NYC!!!! I would have gone to the hospital but I am european and didn't take US health insurance for my two week trip (plus, there is very little to be done, other than pain killers- I ingested fluids, before it was critical). It was exceptionally painful and gross.
(I literally have NO idea how i made that flight)

I called the restaurant on my way to the airport- I had only JUST been able to peel myself off of the bathroom floor. They offered to refund MY fish plate, ONLY!!!! I could barely speak, so i had my friend ring. In the end, they gave us $150 off of the bill. $150 and a week later, WORKING all day, every day, unable to eat, waking up all hours for the loo and they gave me $150... Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

They promised to follow up. They didn't. Food poisoning can happen- I do AD for big restos. I know food poisoning happens. This was/is a very very serious case. They were not serious about it.

My brother is a Dr at the best hospital in NYC and I am being looked after. They haven't asked. They don't care. This is WRONG. They offered to replace my dish, not my flight. That is just sickening, literally.

I would like to add, the food was not good, other than the quail salad. Absolutely average. 1 Michelin star for what??? Service was better than Olive Garden but certainly not Michelin Star. The wait staff interrupted our conversation REPEATEDLY to fill our FULL waters. They would refill the bottled water with tap (when it was still full). It was literally difficult to converse. That is one example but frankly, they just weren't polished. Cafe de flore's newest waiter would put them to shame.

The view is spectacular.

Food, beyond lame. Get some COURAGE! Find INSPIRATION! Seek the BEST! Many of our dishes were over or underwhelmed. It was Australian yuppy food, hardly haute cuisine. I can go to Bar Martin in Paris, pay 7euro for an entree and it will blow ANY Auberge du Soleil dish out of the water.

Get it together guys.

We ate at the bistro which provides a nice view of the area. The burger and the calamari taste great. Unfortunately we did not have a reservation and we had to wait 30 minutes to get a seat outside on the terrace, so make sure to make a reservation. The staff was not too friendly but the overall experience was good.

This is a beautiful resort and spa, with the world class views and a top-notch restaurant!

You can literally check in here, and never have to leave! The service is beyond impeccable, the staff surprisingly very friendly, and the food is to live for!

Every time I come here, I'm reminded of the very first time I visited and sar on the bar patio, watching the sunset in October... Truly magical!

The prices are pretty high, but worth every penny

I m not sure what s better the view of the bone marrow. I dreamt about both of them for days after being there. The bar deck is more relaxed but the service and food is as good as the main dining room

We had a reservation for lunch there. Very fancy place with delicious food. Food is priced on a higher end. The portions are small, but filling. My mixed drink was $20 and my cup of tea (it did come with a teapot with hot water) was $7. It's worth it, because mainly you are paying for the experience. The servers were extremely attentive. If you even slightly turn your head in their direction (even if you are just looking around) they will be by your side in seconds. The view is absolutely amazing. I ordered shrimp salad and maitake mushrooms

We came to celebrate a birthday at the bar and bistro and it was beautiful. The service was excellent and the food was delicious but the view of wine country was the best part. The food menu at the bar area was a little bit limited and portions weren't really for sharing except for the appetizers but still savory all the same. highly recommend the clams and dessert section. The wine was excellent.

We visited for drinks and some light food at the Bistro, which is open 11a-11p I believe. Free valet was great, though a bit crowded on a Friday afternoon, but everyone was hustling! The House Chardonnay and Cab are solid and recommended as they're half the price of comparables ($9 & $11 by the glass). The sharing plates were pretty reasonably priced ($10-25) so you can definitely have a great afternoon on the balcony without breaking the bank.

We had a lovely late lunch there. The view was gorgeous, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The service was excellent, as was the food. The only downside was that it's quite expensive at $70 per person for a three course meal.

A beautiful, luxurious experience at their spa. Amazing massage with Magenta followed by a steam and a soak in the warm infinity pool! Previous trip included time in the restaurant which offers incredible views and a terrific pre fixe menu.

Eating lunch on the terrace is such a special treat. I have been 3 times, but I have to say this trip the service was not up to par. Food was great, the selection perfect. The waiter just wasn t attentive. I had to flag down for water and never got to order dessert. Made me a little sad.

We had high expectations coming to this place, after all it was given 1 Michelin Star. Food was decent, but not as good as we had hoped. Service was good, but nothing exceptional. We did enjoy our view overlooking the grounds and the vineyards in the distance. We won't go back the next time we are in Napa. It was expensive for what it was.

This place is first class all day. Top notch service stands out, but the setting is perfect and the rest seemlessly falls into place. Lunch on their patio is easily on the Napa Valley bucket list.
