Hotel in Belgium
The elevator is full with one person and the luggage.
Our room got the signing 1
Beside the elevator but away from the partners
We are the heads, they are the tails
The size of the house is much different.
Feel that we are slaves
They are VIP rooms
So in the past, their rooms were opened.

Food was good but the price of the water is surprising. Asking 7 euro for 50cl of water is giving a reason to visitors to avoid this place in the future. There are better restaurants in the area that are more reasonable in their water pricing.

If you go for 2p. Paid 188 , 4 times behind coffee and wine, have to ask which were included in the shellfish menu .... Then have to hear it is busy, witnessed of little professionalism ... In the past often satisfied, but now. pfff
Not to be repeated!!

Friendly lady at the reception of restaurant. She also took our order. Smooth operation. Taken menu. Was very tasty for a fair price. Very nice that you can order a number of wines by the glass.

As a family we were once refused service on a virtually empty terrace, with the message that "everything was reserved"; strongest example of discrimination I have ever experienced in the hospitality industry. Never been back and never planning to go back again.

Been there again yesterday for a seminar. It was long ago, but it remains a top service at the Auberge. Because there were a lot of visitors, we were kindly escorted upon arrival to have free parking. Who was parked down at the parking lot, could count on a shuttle service. The guests were also welcomed on arrival. The frame on the banks of the Lys remains gorgeous and the appetizers are still just that little extra. Also enjoyed a delicious wine ... It remains blissful! Continue like this

Lovely outdoor courtyard seating for a breezy evening with friends. Excellent food and service. My pork chop was perfectly cooked. Servings sizes generous without being too much. Perfect dining experience.

Eaten lunch here with New Year.
Perhaps wise from experience, the guests are paid in advance. This means that you already pay when you reserve in November. Wouldn't you expect at such a luxury restaurant ...
The meal was mainly fish-based, with only the last course of wild poultry. That meant that those who had meat as an exception did not have the same good wine experience. The wine was good, but focused on the fish that was served, not on the meat.
Those who had meat had to remind the ministry again and again, at every course and when putting down the cutlery. This had the consequence that the meat eaters were always served last and so the table had to wait.
For the rest, nothing but praise for the service. A set-up like this, with payment in advance, does not actually offer an opportunity to tip, so that is a pity for them.

For example, I thought that there were quite a lot of tables and quite close together. The tables were spacious enough for all the seekers only when leaving the table it was quite difficult to get through this. Also for the staff.
The music in the toilet was very loud and certainly not everyone's taste. That distracted quite a bit from the atmosphere in the dining room.
Strange: the only urinal in the men's room blocks the only toilet. So someone sitting on it can only get in or out the moment nobody uses the pissoir.

From 2 to 5 February we stayed in the Auberge du Pecheur. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful room and the service. In the course of the evenings we had dinner in the Brasserie. The food was very good with super fast service. The breakfast is plentiful and extensive.
Highly recommended to stay a few days.

In one word: TOP! We organized our daughter's communion party in auberge du pecheur. Perfect corona rules were observed, all agreements made were fulfilled. We were really carefree! Impeccable service, excellent food. My thanks go to the whole team for this fantastic experience. They have become happy memories.

There is nothing to notice about the quality of the food and wine. However, the service is a major disappointment. Tuesday evening with 4 people ate on the terrace. The requested 2nd portion of fries was not brought. More than half an hour with empty plates stood on our table after dinner and waited more than fifteen minutes for coffee. And, oh yes, 11 euros for a bottle of water .. in the region there are better alternatives.

Dinner and lunch are good, the food tastes fine and the plate is well garnished. It is a middle range restaurant with friendly staff but the pricing is something else. For those kind of prices I will expect something more.

Wonderfull dining setting near the river Leie. Top French cuisine in a luxurious setting. If you want to enjoy Belgian gastronomy at its best this is definatelly a spot you need to discover.

Beautiful location right along the Leie. A very well-kept garden and parking. On a warm summer evening it can get warm at the table if you eat by the water. Sometimes you have a less fresh scent of the Leie, but that certainly doesn't bother you and also has its charm when you look at the overall picture. Everything is beautifully maintained and the food is also very good, but of course that comes with a decent price.

You can not beat it: a hotel restaurant on the banks of the Lys with modern, spacious and air-conditioned rooms. The restaurant offers a varied menu and a balanced menu. Warm environment.

Glory faded for me. Decrepit interior, filthy and dirty plumbing .... end of comment because I don't want to spend my time there anymore. Too bad for the families who will have paid a lot of money for something below all levels for the wedding on 31 August
