Beautiful location and super delicious food and excellent service

Good food, but the terrace is not up to the price of the card. It is imperative to have umbrellas that are not a level of camping.

Beautiful area. Ideal place both at the private level and for a meeting. The meals are of very good quality. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. Good wi-fi connection.

Great food, beautiful environment. We had problems with the wasps. Dangerous road between the parking lot and the restaurant.

I'm pretty sure I'm too poor to stay at this hotel normally, but we got a GREAT deal on a room. Then the woman at the front desk was kind enough to upgrade us to a room with a view. It truly was a great view! Staying in different cities while visiting Belgium, it was a nice change of pace staying in the country. The hotel was a mix of old world charm with modern amenities. Nice and quiet and a short drive to Ghent. Truly a great hotel experience.

Signed up for Spring brunch a few months ago and Mother's Day brunch last week. Both were enormous and it was pleasantly busy. The brunch is buffet style with a large choice of dishes, only for the main course the choice is limited to 3 dishes. The dessert buffet is my absolute favorite with so many goodies, various types of ice cream and sorbets, cakes, light chocolate mousse, fresh fruit, petit fours, etc.
The service also deserves praise, all cheerful and very attentive.
Located on the Leie, good gastronomic food and a delightful service, life can be so good!

Dust in the sheets, little cleaning in the room, mosquitoes in the rooms for the client to do night hunts, little attention to the needs of the client, shoes and soaps when you use them are not replaced.

Nice location for training. Delicious well-cared for lunch with smooth service. In addition, the staff were so attentive to serve lunch on the terrace on the hottest October day.

Top restaurant they were very friendly and the food was more than fine.

Lovely stay. Beautiful place and surroundings. Superb kitchen and a quality. Friendly staff. We did a walk of 7 km around, the perfect way to explore Flanders. I would recommend it to foreign visitors and also Belgians

hmm, despite having booked the suite, a minibar appeared to be far away in the room.
Restaurant was pretty good, but seen a lot better for less.
Nuance and Luc Bellings stand out for us.
Operation hmmm, after the dinner we just wanted to hang out at the bar.
Taverne turned out to be closed and we passed the hall next to a wedding party.

If we told them that we could not find anything else to drink, we were taken back to the tavern, no "led", after which apparently someone was called to serve us in a completely emptied and cleaned up tavern. Fun is certainly different for that money.
Going back falls under the heading "rather not".
Advice because of my background in customer service:
Kindness, the customer is always right first, the customer pays your salary.
For me, kindness, team coordination and customer focus are essential in this industry and it didn't just go wrong everywhere.

Fantastic food, we had two fish dishes, both excellent and a very tasty local beer too.

There were a lot of people on the day we visited the restaurant, so the best things disappeared fast from the buffet and they don't refill.

Very nice infrastructure, very nice spacious room and especially very quiet, very complete breakfast.

Great location, nice room, good breakfast and excellent restaurant, but bathroom with saloon type door, not really ideal.

Disappointment. Hotel is beautiful. Very much noise in the Brasserie. Our table wobbled. Were 2 tables against each other with a level difference in the middle. Not nice then. Food to be faulted. Breakfast was a disaster. There was not even a table set for us. When we entered there was no staff to be found and we had to wait a long time. Many things were missing and were not topped up regularly.

A lovely place to stay, fine food, sophistcated interior and friendly staff makes the restaurant to a special place to stay. The hotel has simple rooms, that could be refreshed a bit, but the charme of this houses is creating a warm athmosphere!

We participated in the lunch buffet on Sunday afternoon. Very extensive buffet for everyone. Varied choice at the first buffet (starters): oysters, raw fish, meat, cheese dishes and salads. Buffet for the main course is more limited (meat or fish) but the meat was really tasty. The dessert buffet on the other hand was again very extensive and varied. Both the traditional desserts were present and special desserts.

Was attending wedding reception. Plenty of drinks, friendly personnel, tasty appetizers...

Glory long gone.
Infrastructure is perfect, but the service on the terrace is inconsiderate and unkempt. A slouchy polo on jeans is not exactly classy.
Waiting to order, waiting to be served, and waiting for the bill, until even people who are tired of waiting leave: and none of the staff respond.
Really not a pleasant experience in such a beautiful location.
