Super location. Always good food in the Brasserie. Steak Tartar prepared at the table and the Vol au vent are recommended. Friendly service. Wide selection of wines and gin and tonics. Pop up bar in the summer with tappas

When in Deurle (Sint Martens Latem) go and have lunch here. Excellent choice on the menu, perfect service!

Impeccable service and friendly staff who take care of every customer. Nothing is too much to ask.

Lovely hotel and nice rooms. The superior room with vintage freestanding bath provides an absolute zen feeling. If you are lucky enough to get a room with a terrace, you can enjoy a spectacular view there in the morning. Nice lounge bar to end the evening and start the day with a five-star breakfast including fresh, home-baked waffles. :-)

If you have the chance to come in summer, there are also many activities to do around and near the hotel. Summer bar, boating on the Leie, cycling tours, ... always in beautiful surroundings.

We are in any case a fan!

The food was very tasty. It is a pity that we did not receive the reserved table and that we had to sit at 2 separate tables. The staff were very friendly and the toilets were clean

Nice terrace in front. Friendly service. Excellent kitchen. Tidy and refined dishes. Just a pity that the terrace on the Leie with beautiful views is only accessible for parties.

Beautiful location. Nice interior. We are sorry that some do not observe hygiene. When placing the new glasses, someone (with fingers of course) grabs the inside of the glasses. That person had previously cleaned up dirty glasses, with the same fingers in the glasses. And even if those hands are washed in between, clean is different. I wonder where that person received his education.

A very nice and enjoyable dinner
We had a business dinner with 13 people. Clearly we were asked for a pre-selection but the choice offered was really nice. Freshly prepared, well seasoned and tasty starters and main dishes. Sashimi were a dream and the meat was well prepared. Great sauces to enjoy fries :)
We enjoyed a nice white wine with the starter and a good red with the meat.
All in al a great dinner with good service ! Recommended !!

Very pleasant hotel in a nice setting with spacious and clean rooms. There were some problems with our booking but these were more than made up for by the professional staff. Breakfast is certainly sufficient (including making waffles yourself) and good quality, if the weather is good you can have breakfast outside. The location is very good at the Leie (own boats) but also for walking and cycling in the pleasant region or to beautiful Ghent. We had a good stay, thank you staff from AuP.

In the summer there is a pop-up summer bar. Super sitting with a view of the Leie.

Great terrace for a sunny summer evening.y Upper level restaurant, however steak was bit overcooked and lobster was nearly cold again. We waited 50min for the starter. Signs of weak organisation in the kitchen. Besides that it could be a great place outside Gent for diner. Only mediocre kitchen overall

Tasty brasserie in a sublime setting on the Leie. PQ this is a highly recommended address. In summer an absolute must to dine on the terrace.

This is one of those places in Latem where everyone wants or must have been. We are frequent visitors (especially from the brasserie in the summer) and we find the service really lamentable especially at busy times. This is such a case that lives at its location but has little added value.

Despite the varying reviews booked a night in this hotel.
A beautiful location and a building with a beautiful character ...
But ... the rooms are tired, dirty and outdated. The socks of the previous occupants were under the bed among the dust clouds ... Disinterested staff, a stay in this hotel is certainly not worth repeating. Have become too big and commercial, not the Auberge du Pecheur as we used to know it ...

Rooms are due for renewal. Shower a lot of lime on the floor. Breakfast poor. Pistols are tough, no way to get eggs. Would be a room with a refrigerator, was not available. When asked, 1 was put in the room. Coffee in the room was not replenished. Furthermore, we had asked for dinner along the Leie in the evening, but no, apparently that was for customers from outside. Sad that you are treated like this as a hotel guest (3 nights). Heavy disappointment. Not worth a gault millau of 13/20. 7/20 seems rather to me.

rooms are nice and big with laminate. bathroom with bath, toilet in the bathroom.
there is ample parking space.

Excellent service and refined food and catering, but difficult to reach by public transport let alone by bike on this extremely dangerous road

I followed a one-day training course, which was very well cared for. Generously supplied with coffee, tea and snacks during coffee breaks. The lunch was excellent. Very nice location, I will definitely come back here.

Unique location, wonderful service, amazing food. A no-brainer. Make sure to book a table on the terrace during summer.

Amazing view on the canal. Room clean and nice. A bit small in the corridor buy worth staying there.

Unfortunately, a lesser experience with the father's day brunch on 11/6/2017. The coordination and professionalism of the operating staff was totally lacking due to:
- operating staff was more concerned with themselves and their colleagues than with customers
- there were long waiting times for the aperitif (for our table),
- there was no real discipline / coordination regarding the availability of the buffets (which was partly due to the lack of discipline among the guests), which led to chaos in the starter and main course buffet
- the fact that guests visit the terrace in good weather. Easy to solve by not providing control on the terrace. Leaving the table means a delay in the service (or no service) but not at the expense of the guests staying at the table
- a white wine was served that was "accidentally" diluted with water (???)
- a totally substandard sweet wine was served (for a fee), the service of which did not know which wine it was;

Visited the restaurant, food was excellent. View was good. Felt calming and soothing.

Very beautiful place, very charming. Very friendly staff. Ditto for the brewery, but on the other hand not worth the price at all. The food is very good but paying 11 for a bottle of water and 27 for pasta seems a bit overkill to me. Moreover, at the price of the dishes they could have served us home fries and not bagged fries ... Too bad also to have been taken for idiots when we asked to go for a drink in the back with the view on the river and we were told no because of the covid to then see lots of people going there ... the room was cute but it was not the one advertised on the Bongo ... breakfast good, fairly simple, too bad these are not fresh products ...

Cozy to stay. Quiet environment. Great food and nice rooms!

2 lunches during a course. One was ok but plain. The other was actually not ok with both fish and potatoes not cooked enough.

Good dishes at reasonable prices. Very nice framework. Everything is very well taken care of. Good service. On a bend in the Leie. Beautiful view from the terrace.

We come here regularly to eat because of the good price / quality ratio. The location is very beautiful, so we decided to give our wedding in Auberge Du Pecheur. Everything was fine, the food was very tasty and problems were solved professionally. The honeymoon suite was very nice, the fridge was filled with a nice bottle of champagne! We had a very beautiful wedding anniversary at a fantastic location. The only downside for us is that there were no cameras or security present as there was stolen during our party (we saw the 2 perpetrators very briefly), but we will not let that ruin our day. We hope that this does not happen more often and will definitely come back to the Brasserie to celebrate our wedding anniversaries!
