Atlantis the palm Jumeirah Review

Cool off from the desert sun and take a break at Atlantis. From the moment that you step into the reception the decor is absolutely beautiful and you feel like you are under water. Service is impeccable. I would suggest that you book the imperial club room prior to arrival as you will receive free airport transfer services and the breakfast buffet at the various restaurants are fantastic. It is also beneficial if you plan on spending time at the resort as there is always soft drinks available at the lounge as well as daily tea and happy hour. The hotel is an obvious choice for families as there are several entertainment options available including child minding facilities.

You should definitely visit. One of the most impressive places in Dubai.

The Heat though!!! Goodness me, be sure to save your trips for after the summer period; just to save yourself the trouble of the desert heat.

Great day out at the aquarium and dolphin show. Had a great boat ride around the palm. A must if you are visiting Dubai. The Aquarium is better than the one at the Mall.

Overpriced and the service is horrendous. The room smelled like an ash tray(non smoking room), the staff is very pleasant, outdated everything. Waldorf Astoria is better and cheaper

very high professional decoration , carefully made with quality hand crafted arts, well maintained, start from coloring , flooring , walls ceiling are amazing also.
wherever your eyes looking, your brain start acting , how this art pieces been made, and if you look to whole picture you would find a special art piece.

This is an amazing place to visit .

This is one resort you can stay here for months. There are so many things to do, many great restaurants to choice from, many activities including water theme park. And there a wide selection of rooms to suit all budget!

Just had a coffee at Gordon Ramsays but nice experience.

Very nice view at night and you can feel the ocean breeze...

Ammazing Island and Aquaventure water park is a cherry on the cake! Also you can pamper your taste buds by enjoying the buffet at @kaleidoscope

The experience here is very welcoming and the staff is large scaled. There are also attractions in every section of age.

It is amazing to see how that building is stnding there at the end of an artificial Island --- must to be seen.

Had lunch at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant it was very Yummy.

I really enjoyed the experience! The architecture was amazing! The place is really amazing, also I wanted to point out that although I have tried so many hotels, Atlantis by far has the most neatly done housekeeping, there performance was extraordinary !!! Seriously!!

I just didn't feel like the hotel lived up the the hype
However it's possible that this is because I have many other experiences to compare this against
The hotel is not as grand on the interior as picture suggest especially not for the lower end rooms, however bear in mind
This hotel is a few years old now
I'm quite sure a refurb will be happening soon

However this hotel has some very unique offerings that make it a bucket list destination

Externally it has that grand iconic look

However globals trends of lower service levels seem the norm at hotels these day

Be warned the food at the hotel is rediculously over priced

Please consider half board or full board

Awesome creation. Truly luxurious hotel in the world. Best part is that I have checked in and enjoy the water park and property without entering the room. Same during check out. Property is so good that we like to play outside all the times

The rides are amazing, highly recommended especially if you're going with friends and family. The staff are very friendly. Would definitely go back soon.

Amazing place to stay. Includes unlimited access to aquarium and water park (tons of water slides, wave pool, float river, beaches, speed slides, raft slides, etc. However, for the price I paid for two nights at this place, I could have spent a while another week in Dubai. Well, hindsight is 20/20.

The design, the houses, the beaches and the hotel itself

When we arrived our booking planes had been stuffed up, but they instantly compensated us and upscaled us to a VIP room on the top level and we got special access to other areas, and when ever we had a problem we went into a different room there they sorted out our problems instantly. They had a wide range of restaurants and little fun areas, there where a couple main restaurants that we went to (mostly buffet) that had such a massive range of food it's not even funny. Since we booked in thought there website we also got free access to the water-park right next door. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that can afford it.

Most beautiful place ever!! We visited the water park and the lost chambers. The water park was pretty good, lots to do, great fun, it's not as big as the siam in tenerife but still excellent. I would definitely recommend a day trip. I throughly enjoyed the lost chambers, its just so beautiful.

Tip, buy your water park tickere in advance online, saves money. And best to wear swimming shoes as the floor is impossible to walk on bare foot, saves you having to carry flip flops on the rides

Came back due to positive experience we had back in 2013.

Stayed in a Regal Suite with Imperial Club Access. All in all a different experience. Personally feel the place has taken a bit of a nosedive as they prepare for the extension of Atlantis.

We arrived at night and were supposed to have the Royal Mhjali check in. All we got was a rushed, rude check in clerk who made me run to the luggage area to dig out my passport as I did not have this immediately on me and as we were waiting on my mother in law and son to arrive he appeared quite impatient about this and would insisted we have their passports presented ASAP. That aside he was more than keen to show me the bill and get my card and signature. A very, very poor experience.

The room was nice and view pleasant, we requested a room change after the first week as they had a DJ on the Sunday night and pool party that kept everyone awake (was far too loud).

Buffet food was ok, busy environment and quite hectic sometimes. Enjoyed the Asian style soups.

Enjoyed the complimentary cocktails between 5-7 for Suite guests at the 3 locations you could have it

The imperial club felt like a free for all and a feeding of the masses. It did not reflect the place and felt more like a soup kitchen than top end hotel.

Overall would not return based on this experience. Certainly not as it is, no individual care, you feel like you are part of a pack and its more about herd control than an individual customers experience regardless how much you pay.

What to review about thia world famous place... Amazing all in one place for holiday. Take a stroll along the beach around sunset. Avoid going by car in the evenings. You may be struck in traffic jam. Monorail is best way to reach here.

Atlantis has a small area to the public and it really wasn't enough. The shopping area was nothing major to spend the day, and the few restaurants need prior reservations. The promenade outside the Atlantis is best during the cooler evenings.

One of the most luxurious hotels in the Palm Jumeirah.
It is packed with people most of the time.
Gym and Spa are really nice and well equipped.
Staff are usually stressed as they are overloaded with work most of the time.
The hotel is over looking the sea and they got awesome pools, grand lobby, great restaurants and more.
It is considered on the expensive side.

Magical, went twice first stayed in the 2 bedrooms terreace suit and then stayed in the regal suite.

We arrived 10.30 am from overnight flights...of course room is not ready but no one can tell us when would it be ready! We were kindly offered to relax at "Hospitality" lounge...it worked out to be a holding place with not much of any hospitality...only chairs and tables...I will.post more if I ever get to my room...been 90 minutes of waiting so far

It is a beautiful sight.... you need to be there to witness the beauty. Especially during autumn and winters, the breeze makes it a perfect spot to enjoy, to calm and relax.

Very nice place to freak out with friends and family. Water is main attraction. You will find mono rail near to this and beach as well.Evening time it looks very good. Atlantis acquaventure is the nearest station 2 mins walk for hotel and 5 mins walk for beach

Very Big hotel with a lot of facilities free for residents(aqua park +lost chamber )
There are also lots of delicious Resturants.

We got there early ... just about opening time... was able to do almost all the rides by 2 pm ... stopped than as the lines got to full. Had lunch for 4 at a fast food type joint ... cost about $90....guess its to be expected.

Amazing place in Dubai,
By the train upside the sea,you can visit the palm ,many beaches in a perfect position

We did a staycay day on white beach it was great. My only issue was that it took them absolutely ages to check us in. I have no idea what was even taking so long, surely this process should be 2 minutes max?
The room was fresh and clean though and the surrounding areas are always spotless there. Overall a lovely stay.

Hotel was good, make sure you pre-book and manage your day to get the most out of your visit.

If you Enjoy the sunrise then it's worth getting a room with a Palm View. I was on the 11th floor when I took these photos.

Amazing hospitality, not enough words to describe it. We booked an imperial club package for our wedding anniversary which included complementary access to imperial club lounge (which has a lot of offerings ranging from breakfast to happy hours), access to Aquaventure waterpark and Lost Chambers Aquarium. For our ocassion, they also offered a beautiful box of chocolate

Atlantis has certainly raised the high for hospitality without doubt. Just an example, we were waiting to enter Kalidoscope restaurant for breakfast and the guests were offered juices and water while waiting in the queue.

The entire staff was very polite and helpful all the time, room service was promt. Our room (12465 east wing) was sea facing with a very nice view.

To sum up, thanks to Atlantis family for making our stay comfortable and memorable one. Looking forward for more from you guys.

Good Hotel with Ultra Huge Activities and facilities

Excellent facilities, friendly staff, skilled personal. On the other hand, the prices for drinks, water and quick bites are extremely expensive, even the towels are on rent for a small amount of 25 aed each! End up paying 1200aeds and nothing on complimentary not even the towels are free! Thats way beyond expensive...

We enjoyed each and every moment during our stay in Atlantis. The stay was really awesome. And especially dinner at saffron restaurant was amazing.

Our point of entry was absolutely marvelous. Our service at the check-in was completed by Artem who was par excellence in guiding us,was friendly ,and very hospitable. Also we would like to appreciate Thintin who served us at Kaleidoscope as well as Premier lounge. Our getaway was just too good to be true especially during Covid19. It was VFM and the right staycation for all.

Visited Atlantis with family and friends. The hotel is located at the palm a man made island. The rooms and the hotel are beautiful. It has huge waterpark, pristine beaches and world class cuisine.
Although check in took very long time.

Perfect in every sense. Stayed for just a day, but leaving wanting more. Great staff, food is amazing (12+ restaurants I think, including one run by Gordon Ramsay). We tried out a place called The Burger Joint, served some of the best burgers we ve ever had. For buffet dinner Kaleidoscope is nice.
Lost chambers (the underwater aquarium) is beautiful. Haven t been to aqua venture yet heading there tomorrow morning. Both are included in the hotel stay, unlimited access!
+1 to them for complimentary water, Dubai has a water shortage (it s in a desert) and this is one of the few places that boasts of this luxury.

We checked in after entering room every worse thing started from there. phone broken, construction next door you will not relax. I complain this matter to Night Operator Manager for cancel and full refund to exit the hotel because of the inconvenience . Ali Alnawafleh seemed not to be helpful and was not excited to hear all the legit complain and took our time did not return refund until 3rd party booking was involved. I feel Ali did very poor job managing. I will not return neither refer anyone at this location. At the end i did cancel and he did return the refund so as far they are not willing to help you if you have legit complains. Please be aware prior booking this location. We had booked 4 night at the location and did not last 3 hours. Please have training on management to be pleasant with customers needs and take time to understand their complains seriously.

Great food, drink and atmosphere. The staff at wavehouse are AMAZING. Bowling was so much fun as usual.

Unbelievable beautiful hotel that remind the legend of the city of ATLANTIS felt down in the sea and covered by the water. Huge and stunning architecture with a lot of stores and restaurants inside. You do not need nothing else if you book there. To reach the location is another magic point of this hotel.. You have to enter in a tunnel with your car inside the water of the sea only in Dubai is possible live so exclusive and exciting feelings!

Jabeel garden situated between Old and New dubai.And most attracting thing is dubai frame.U will enjoy both side of dubai at highest roof.

The beautiful hotel with the aquarium. Very excellent and lovely architecture. Was sad when I wasn t allowed to go up to see a guest because I didn t have ID even when the guest came down to vouch for me. I think that could have been handled better.

Fantastic place to go on holiday. This is our tenth trip and we were lucky enough to stay in the Regal Suite which is as big as an apartment. The kids loved the waterpark which we visited each morning when it opened so no queues. The kids loved Saffron and Kaleidoscope and our favourite restaurant was Hakkasan. You can book a babysitter so the kids and the parents can have fun ! We have already booked a return trip.

The real Atlantis. Holiday place for the ntire family

obviously the best! we love wild wadi too. we have been travelling to Dubai since our child was 2 years old. he has seen Dubai grow in a way. we do come here to completely relax in Dubai. the city itself is known to us now like the back of our hand, and so for us the city is just like home and abit boring sometimes now that we have got used to iit and seen everything but we do honestly just travel all the way here just for the water parks.
if you are travelling to Dubai, you must visit the water parks. both wild wadi and Atlantis palm are fab. we get free entry to this water park as we usually stay at the hotel so it gives free access to its stayers.

staff at Atlantis water park are excellent! the most professional you could get and so alert. 1 mistake in the pool or grounds and they are on you by blowing the whistle. they don't smile too much but I agree with the policy, because they are so focused on health and safety around them and others that talking to others would distract them. they are friendly and fun, but they are dedicated to their jobs. I praise every staff here who stand in the scorching burning heat all day and watch our kids (and adults) for their safety. bravo! to the staff for always providing us a safe ground to enjoy and relax all these years we have been coming.

the food, is as expected pricey but this is anywhere you go whether in uk theme park or Dubai. the chicken place is the best and the family feast bucket is well worth it with good portions. it is better to eat in if you aren't staying in the Atlantis palm hotel itself. the drive up to Atlantis is long and costly itself so go out looking for food so I personally recommended you eat in than try find something in Jumeriah. of course there are lots of places to eat but I always look at convenience.
the rides are fab, the toilets and changing room are constantly cleaned and I always find them clean. this is because there is staff present in every changing room or toilet. they don't leave the area. the ladies who work in the changing grooms are fab and helpful. since it was set up we have been here countless times we have forgotten and we have never had issues. we highly recommend it. we are first ones in and usually the last ones the staff are trying to kick out!
