I couldn't stay at the Atlantis on my trip to Reno...

I couldn't stay at the Atlantis on my trip to Reno, as it was booked solid, however, myself and my traveling companions were able to have a meal at the Atlantis buffet. WHAT A TREAT!! I love sweets, and as we were paying for our meal, I could see into the restaurant and I swear, I almost fainted when I saw a COTTON CANDY BAR!!!

The Atlantis has a wonderful buffet, it reminds me of the champagne brunch at the Rio in Las Vegas. The premises are clean, the food is varied and sumptuous. The mimosas were something to write home and everywhere else about.

To put it plainly, I've been thinking about the Atlantis buffet since I returned from Reno and I am, even as I write this review, trying to determine how I can get back to Reno within the next month, strictly to visit the Atlantis.

Not only was the food EXCELLENT, but the staff was friendly and helpful. If you're going to be in Reno any time soon, don't cheat yourself out of this experience. Don't waste your time on the buffet at the Silver Legacy, we tried that buffet the night that we arrived in Reno, it's not at all worth the $30+ cost of admission. But the Atlantis...................I left there with my stomach overfull and with the nagging feeling, that even though I paid for my meal upfront, somehow I still owe them money.

We always go to the Atlanta spa, but today was very disappointing. Called a few weeks ahead for 5 of us and a massage for one. During the call nothing was mentioned that we would not get our local discount or that they do not take reservations for day use. We were told these things upon arrival. They did get us in but at higher price. The site did not have Martin Luther King listed as a holiday. Everyone else was great. The indoor pool was cold. Not the water but sitting area.

The food at the restaraunts are never incredible, but it's a nice place to go for a gathering. The interior is confusing but that's expected for a casino. The rooms are pricey but approproately so for some of the larger rooms.

I would not recommend playing slot machines here but if you do don't let them talk you into a players card. I had a real bad experience with Atlantis,I was playing a progress slot and one slot machine attendant was watching me. The machine was playing great .he came over and insisted on me getting a player's club card. For some reason the card would not work and they opened up my machine and reset it. I feel as the machine was going to hit the progress pay out and they just wanted to get into my machine any they could to reset it and keep that from happening. Really

My family comes here often for dinner... I still find the Valet to be a nightmare, but I don't think it will get fixed any time soon. It is just to small of a space for the amount a traffic coming through .

Undergoing yet another revamping in a few areas of the property, it is still packed with guests. The rooms are nice and on my opinion, a few of the Jacuzzi suites are the nicest in town! The staff is friendly and you are made to feel important whenever they interact wirh you.

I'm not a fan of casino hotels. They have lots of amenities but it's very smoky, dark and outdated. And much of the time this place is overpriced. It's a great location if you have to attend an event at the convention center but still not worth it to me.

Best hotel I've ever been to. High speed wifi for free. Amazing resteraunts. So much to do as well and to explore. Kids have a place in the huge fun center and they have bars and gaming for adults as well. Their spa is amazing and the rooms are just as great.

We had a great time, room service staff was on point, food (lunch & dinner) was ok. Pool was clean with lots of room even during busy weekend. I'd get a cabana for $85 w/rm if wanted more room. The buffet @$18.99, I was surprised at the awesome selection. I'd sign up for the club card asap as you start to earn points with everything, earning free goodies like dining etc. Strange occurences was the vibration in our room (12th floor). Nite was the worst when we tried to sleep. And the door kept sounding as if it was being tried to open, might be the air conditioning..... however the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, we like soft beds, honestly that's the most important for us. We will be back

Excellent, excellent, excellent-modern, spacious room and toilet.. Various restaurants with different kinds of food. One can have sushi roll while taking a clam chowder in a sour dough bowl. Manhattan deli club sandwich is huge and stuffed turkey. Red clam chowder with crackers are delicious. Servers are friendly there on top of being professional.
