Horrible experience trying to book a Holiday Light...

Horrible experience trying to book a Holiday Lights ticket. They are price gouging and limiting people due to COVID. I understand the liability and implications etc. but they are going overboard in my opinion. They must be receiving government kickbacks requiring such tight measures. It's an outdoor event... I interact with more people at Target with a mask.. They have their heads held a bit too high because they know that they a good product. Hopefully they can become a bit more realistic.

The christmas lights are awesome! We got to spend some quality family time together. The boys loved it, couldn't get enough. My oldest didn't want to leave the train area. Can't wait to go back again! Smores by the fire. What more can you ask for...

Great event and visit. We came for the night time Holiday Lights Show. It was well-run and included several different sections and experiences including inside the rainforest area. Overall great experience and well worth the visit. It is cheaper to pre-buy the parking if you intend to come back at the gift shop.

Love this place. There was a recent Christmas event here and it was fabulous. Great for a family night or a date night. An added plus is the nice view/ walk around Piedmont Park which is right outside of the Gardens

The BEST part of our Atlanta trip! We saw the Imaginary Worlds Exhibit and the detail takes your breath away! It is such a serene place to relax and enjoy the moment. The edible garden had a lot of fun facts and interesting information on different foods. The butterflies flutter around you as you walk through and it is just stunning!!

Visited this place during the December garden lights. It was so beautiful and enjoyed the trail. The lights synchronized with the music was breathtaking. All the trail was lit with different themes. Not sure what other times they have the garden lights, but if you are in Atlanta in December, you should definitely visit this place.

I always feel at home here in the gardens! I usually visit during the winter holiday season which is the best time because so many people come to enjoy the aura, restaurants, Garden Lights and more.

Great place to see plants of all types.

Great place to see plants of all types.

We went during the Alice in Wonderland exhibit. Kind of small, but the gardens are huge, went without a map and got lost a few times.

So we drove 5 hours from Florida just to be told that they were not selling regular admission tickets and we would have to become a member to get in. We dont live in Ga so that wasn't a option for us... So, we made a very long blank trip due to their website not giving updated information. Please call them before making a trip. Never ever again!

This place is beautiful. You can forget for a moment (or couple of hours) that you are in downtown atlanta. Be prepared to walk the trails are pretty big. I walked about 5 miles. Some areas are more wheelchair accessible than others. I rate handicap accessibility 3.5 out of 5. Definitely a great date idea.

Worst valentine's day date ever, frozen all morning because not one indoor exhibit was open for over an hour waiting in line to get warm from the outside. Literally under 40 degrees and none of the outdoor fireplaces were lit or anything. Was never informed that I would have to wait on valentines day to get any kind of warmth when there were plenty of
r esources available. Don't come here at all if it is cold outside they will let you freeze

Always love to visit this spot! They are one of the best gardens in the country and the holiday show is second to none. I love the canopy walk and the indoor area is fascinating! A wonderful and super affordable spot to bring someone visiting. Great for covid times as well.

I was visiting in town so my boyfriend decided to take me here since that was probably the one thing I wanted to do with the Alice in wonderland exhibit going on until November 1st. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. The only thing they had was a giant Alice twirling around in a pond, nothing else was there. The website photos are all for show to lure you to visit. Not sure if wedding events were the reasons why the Alice displays were gone, but this place was not worth spending $50+ to see.

I loved this place mostly because of the huge landscapes statutes themes of Alice in wonderland. This botanical garden offers multiple cafes throughout your walk. I recommend wearing comfortable shoes. I enjoyed the leisurely walk. It s a good place to take your family after brunch. There are scooters outside that you can ride around the nearby park. The admission is fairly reasonable.

Such an amazing experience seeing so many species of unique plants. Despite the crowded venue, the garden provided for ample space to comfortably maneuver throughout the garden. The walk was very cathartic due to the plethora of trees whoch also played a major role providing much needed natural shade from the blazing summer heat. The designing of the trees into various characters and animals is creativity at it's best and I could hear the other visitors verbally expressing the exact awe and admirstion for the projects that I have for them. Parking was super convenient and for the first time visitors pay attention to the parking instructions because it's designed to allow patrons to enter and exit the parking structure with the most ease and convenience. All in all this was a stupendous experience, 6 stars out of 5!

Went for the Holiday lights.. the "premium" pass was supposed to be 3D, but it was nothing but hologram glasses that made all the lights have an owl-shaped glow.. cool, but complete waste.. COMPLETE WASTE, I gave my glasses away to the first child I saw.. Save yourself $10 per person. Also the website didn't fully describe the 'after 9pm' which is discounted, it seemed as though you would only experience half of the show, but you get the full experience with only 2 hours to complete a 45 minute course. The light show is amazing, but the descriptions are deceiving and a waste of money. The premium pass does include a free beverage (alcoholic or non) which relieved some of the aggravation.

This isn't necessarily a bad review but we were excited to book a later time to attend the Atlanta Botanical Gardens because it would be dark outside and we thought we'd Really enjoy the lights. We attended on Saturday night and it was SO dark. I don't understand why, there were plenty of lights and light displays that just weren't turned on even by 9:30. I don't know if this is a regular thing or not but in my opinion if you're going to stay open after dark I believe you should utilize all the light you can or at least warn people that you probably won't be able to see hardly anything let alone where you are walking. Like I said I don't know if this was a one time thing but from our experience I would recommend checking it out during the day or calling to make sure lights will be on. Other than that we had a good time, just a little irritated.

About Atlanta Botanical Garden

Atlanta Botanical Garden: A Haven for Nature Lovers

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30-acre oasis located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It was founded in 1976 with the mission to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. Since then, it has become one of the most popular attractions in Georgia, drawing visitors from all over the world.

The garden is home to over 30 different gardens and collections that showcase a wide variety of plants from around the world. Visitors can explore everything from tropical rainforests to desert landscapes, as well as themed gardens like the Japanese Garden or Children's Garden.

Every year during springtime (March-April), visitors can enjoy thousands of tulips blooming throughout various parts of garden which creates an amazing view for photography lovers. During summer (May-August), there are colorful annuals planted throughout different areas which makes it perfect for family picnics or just relaxing under shade trees while enjoying nature’s beauty.

In addition to its stunning plant displays, Atlanta Botanical Garden also offers a variety of educational programs and events throughout year such as classes on gardening techniques or cooking with herbs grown at garden itself; concerts featuring local musicians; art exhibits showcasing works inspired by nature; and much more!

For those who want to learn more about horticulture or botany field itself can take advantage by attending workshops offered by experts who work at this botanical garden which provides hands-on experience with plants grown here.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden also plays an important role in conservation efforts both locally and globally through partnerships with other organizations such as The Nature Conservancy or World Wildlife Fund etc., helping protect endangered species like monarch butterflies whose population has been declining rapidly due to habitat loss caused by human activities like deforestation etc..

Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life while still being within city limits then visiting this beautiful botanical garden should be on your list! With so much natural beauty surrounding you everywhere you look combined with educational opportunities available here make it perfect destination not only for tourists but also locals alike!
