Nice place to have a quiet relaxing walk in a well curated natural environment. The zen garden is awesome. Worth a visit.

Great to walk around safely outside. Wonderful sites to view.
I believe they should not open during winter, unless you want to enjoy the lights. Rather than that don t go during winter.
Somewhat disappointing Christmas lights. Wasn't much of an actual Christmas theme. I really enjoyed the semi-synchronised forest lights, but it would have been better with Christmas music.
It is a very beautiful landscape, with beautiful flowers
This botanical garden was awesome especially loved the Alice in wonderland theme section of the garden. Definitely recommend going for a all family
Its the perfect place to admire the masterpieces of The Creator
Absolutely stunning garden. I'm a huge fan of Alice in wonderland so I vastly enjoyed the experience
Great place, make sure to go way before dusk to enter the children area as it closes early
One of the best I have seen. Good for everybody, big and small.
This is absolutely a first class place and most DEFINITELY worth the visit....
Great place to go! Walk around and see some cool plants and flowers and artwork made from flowers.
A must if you're in Atlanta. Try to go when it's not super hot! Parking is affordable at about $2 per hour. Or take an electric scooter. They have them all over Atlanta!
Beautiful place, excellent for a walk with the family. Do not forget to bring your sunscreen, a good hat and a sweat wipe, a lot of moisture at this time
Love the Garden! Recently went for a chef demo in the outdoor kitchen...so much fun. I'll be back for one of these.
Nothing like it! It s amazing and the kids enjoy every second of it! This is the move for Spring/Summer!
It's such a serene place. The orchids are amazing.
Went for a Wood Brothers concert and it POURED rain. We were soaked and miserable. That isn't ABG's fault, I know. What we saw of the gardens was really cool. And the concert was great once it got going. The sound was really good. Might go back for another show sometime, but will have to make sure to bring a poncho!
Being May much of the outdoor sections of the garden were actively growing, some even blooming. Although there are indoor exhibits they would be a bit of a letdown, just a fraction of what is available to see during the growing season. Parking structure on the grounds, although it is not included in admission which is $20, so you will want to go when you can get your money's worth.
Great plants, art, shows, lectures, greenhouses, and views! One of my favorite places in Atlanta
The garden was amazing great sites. I'm sure it would be better to go when the sun's going down so you can see all of the lights.
Not good if your mom wants to keep on taking pictures when your trying to find some gosh darn peace
Beautiful Gardens, even in the middle of January the grounds are pleasant to stop through and the indoor plants are worth seeing
Fantastic place to visit! The flowers are lovely and the staff is really friendly and helpful.
What a wonderful botanical garden. Ton's of great exhibits.
Great place for pics!! And the gift shop is super cute! The trail isn t easy to follow but you get a chance to get your steps in!
Amazing light Feture or Festival. So many people there, parking was a nightmare at that location!
We arrived at around 1PM but unfortunately due to the horrific and inefficient parking situation we did not get into the parking deck and get a parking place until about 3PM. TWO hours to wait through about 20 iterations of lights at the Piedmont Drive entrance and then a SLOW progression to finally get to the parking attendant to PAY to park. After we paid to park another SLOW progression to get through the parking deck and FINALLY get a place to park. Absolutely no staff there to help facilitate a smooth flow of traffic and parking so visitors are stuck in a 2 hr traffic jam to go literally about a fourth of a mile. What a waste of a Sunday. You would think creating/managing a parking area that lets visitors park within 5-15 minutes would be a no brainer.
Always a great time for fresh air, conversation, and a bite to eat in the Atlanta fall. Not yet holiday lights so the crowd is light. Not too heavy on the Halloween stuff, but creative. Hats off to those creators. A little Covid references, but not overdone.
I adore this botanical garden. It's so creatively put together.
This is the best place to visit on Atlanta my kids and I enjoy this place more then the Zoo it's beautiful there
Amazing! This year beats all the years that we have been seeing Garden Lights
Dead plants everywhere barely one alive they didn't even advice on it or anything 45 bucks to waste just to watch them die more.. not coming back
Beautiful at the holidays. You will enjoy and peace and quite magical Christmas lights and themes. Easy parking and access. Restaurants are on site but make reservations first.
Beautiful place, slots for the evening light show seem to always get filled. Some things are closed due to covid, like the cooking class in the edible garden. I wish there were more hand sanitizer stations around. Still was enjoyable after being inside for so long.
We had an amazing time! The gardens were very well taken care of and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We'll be getting the membership and going back often
Concert venue is just OK. Bring your own chair and best of luck to you. Sound is adequate at best.
Beautiful garden with two snack bars and a sit-down restaurant
What a beautiful garden! Quite large and well maintained. Worth every penny. My bf jokingly said getting a membership here to take girls on a date isn't a bad idea. Lol
I was there for work pruning trees. It has some awesome sculptures there though that I was able to get pictures of.
Spectacular feats of botanical engineering, artistry, and genius are on display here. Fun for adults and kids alike. Great for a date night! Was a beautiful date.
Parking prices are great. Entry prices are reasonable. They are creating Alice in Wonderland at this time. From what I saw it will be great. I truly enjoyed thr rose garden and the canopy walk. I could have easily stayed all day. A must see.
The Christmas lights experience was amazing. Would be perfect for families with kids and for dates. It was very romantic and fun.
I loved this place it fills all your senses and an amazing place to start teaching your children how awesome nature is
Absolutely gorgeous! Just make sure to bring a way to cool yourself down. There is not a lot of shade on the main paths and the AC was broken in a few buildings
Great place to run, walk and a take in the scene there.
The garden light experience during the winter is truly spectacular and now with the COVID restrictions, it's a much more relaxed experience
Very overrated. Made a visit and wasn't what we expected. Maybe it's better at night but the pics online really are deceiving.
Coolest attraction to see at night by far!! They have amazing light shows and music all over the place. Great place to take you and your date for an amazing evening. Really friendly staff and lively atmosphere. Recommend going on a week day not on the weekends. They are packed in the weekends and it makes it less enjoyable due to the fact you're tripping over everyone. Great view of the city in the background and good place to take kids. We got hot chocolate and they even sell Smores you can cook over a fire!!! Definitely a must see if you're passing through. Also they have an option to get 3D glasses for an extra cost with a compimentry drink. Me and my fiancee didn't purchase it and found out from another couple it didn't make a huge difference with visual affects except seeing bugs on in the lights, tried them out and wasn't impressed. The basic ticket was all you really need to have a good time unless you need that drink. Overall best place I've seen here at Atlanta. It was so beautiful we walked back through it twice to get another view. Check it you you won't be disappointed at all.
Perfect attraction for families. You can ebjoy a walk in the nature with nice views and plenty of informations about nature for the kids
So much fun, so much to see. A lot of care for the environment and plants as it requires a lot of attending. Clean. The food and merchandise is expensive.
Beautiful but definitely overpriced for this time of year when not everything is blooming, some parts were closed...
Atlanta Botanical Garden: A Haven for Nature Lovers
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30-acre oasis located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It was founded in 1976 with the mission to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. Since then, it has become one of the most popular attractions in Georgia, drawing visitors from all over the world.
The garden is home to over 30 different gardens and collections that showcase a wide variety of plants from around the world. Visitors can explore everything from tropical rainforests to desert landscapes, as well as themed gardens like the Japanese Garden or Children's Garden.
One of the highlights of the Atlanta Botanical Garden is its collection of orchids. With over 2,000 species on display throughout the year, it's one of the largest orchid collections in any public garden in America. The Fuqua Orchid Center houses many rare and endangered species that are being conserved through careful cultivation.
Another must-see attraction at Atlanta Botanical Garden is its seasonal displays. Every year during springtime (March-April), visitors can enjoy thousands of tulips blooming throughout various parts of garden which creates an amazing view for photography lovers. During summer (May-August), there are colorful annuals planted throughout different areas which makes it perfect for family picnics or just relaxing under shade trees while enjoying nature’s beauty.
In addition to its stunning plant displays, Atlanta Botanical Garden also offers a variety of educational programs and events throughout year such as classes on gardening techniques or cooking with herbs grown at garden itself; concerts featuring local musicians; art exhibits showcasing works inspired by nature; and much more!
For those who want to learn more about horticulture or botany field itself can take advantage by attending workshops offered by experts who work at this botanical garden which provides hands-on experience with plants grown here.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden also plays an important role in conservation efforts both locally and globally through partnerships with other organizations such as The Nature Conservancy or World Wildlife Fund etc., helping protect endangered species like monarch butterflies whose population has been declining rapidly due to habitat loss caused by human activities like deforestation etc..
Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life while still being within city limits then visiting this beautiful botanical garden should be on your list! With so much natural beauty surrounding you everywhere you look combined with educational opportunities available here make it perfect destination not only for tourists but also locals alike!
