Pro s: Quick/nice maintenance

Pro s: Quick/nice maintenance
cons:
Thin walls
loud neighbors
There Is always ice in the parking lot they don t come plow until 2 days after it has snowed and the snow has either melted or froze over
Make sure to read your rental agreement they will charge you not even consider helping during the pandemic a fee or full months rent if you are a day late with your notice. They obviously do not care about people or their situation during this hard time at all. I recommended some friends to live in their apartments and never again.

Oh and please spare me the generic response you reply to people s reviews

in recent years management has been very responsive to the tenants in my building; replaced the windows for improved heat, added lights to the parking lot for improved sense of security; manager and maintenance respond quickly, seem to want to meet our needs and are helpful!

We really enjoyed our time at At Home Apartments! I would rent with them again any day. The maintenance staff was always super fast and friendly. Everyone that I've talked to in the office was so nice and helpful.

Went through the application process with this company. At first they seemed very responsive and helpful. I mentioned to the people I was working with that I had a guarantor if I needed one. I was assured by 3 different people including the property manager that the issue wasn t an automatic denial. They processed my application and sent me a notice of adverse action . No one bothered to contact me about having a guarantor, and as soon as they decided they were not renting to me the niceties went out the window. I responded back about having a guarantor and did not hear back. Very rude and unprofessional. They just want to make money clearly and don t care much about their prospective renters. The lack of problem solving in trying to help me secure the apartment was disappointing to say the least. At least I know now not to rent with this company.

As a new tenant, At Home Apartments has provided nothing but stellar service thus far. From helping me find an apartment that suited my locale and budget, to the leasing process. To helping fix a cracked blind and smoke detector in under 2 hours, they go out of their way to make sure their tenants are treated like family. Personalized touches such as a little welcome kit on the kitchen counter when I picked up my keys and prompt response to questions left me impressed. In a time where many property companies simply wish to collect rent from their tenants without providing anything, At Home Apartments show what a difference, attention to detail and personalized hospitable attention to their tenants can make. I highly recommend!

So I was a resident at 888 Grand Ave (November 2019 - December 2020) moving shortly.

This property in particular has been very well kept. The application process and showing at the time was easy and very professional. The apartments themselves have a lot of original character, and the brownstone exterior is in well kept condition. Residents in this building are respectful and common areas are clean.

I have had good experiences with the management and maintenance crew. Responsive and helpful anytime I emailed them about an issue. I have been a happy resident and haven t felt ripped off considering my rent at the time was $945 for a 1/bedroom.

Overall I would recommend this property for anyone needing affordable housing. If they end up raising rent over $1000 then I d keep searching. This property doesn t have anything fancy. It s all quite old fashioned and shared laundry. Parking is expensive for a single stall outside, but for me was better than city street parking.

At Home Apartments should do a better job at making these units feel more unique than slapping heavy coats of paint over everything. Appliances are quite outdated and poor quality. I took care of my unit to the best of abilities so hopefully I receive my damage deposit without a problem. Otherwise I ll be changing this review score.

I can only speak to my experience at Summit Terrace Flats but I lived there for four years and it was fantastic. The maintenance was very timely and thorough (and nice!) and my apartment building was quiet. Great location, you can walk everywhere. It s a historic building so you don t have all of the amenities, but beautiful hardwood floors, built ins and original tiling. They recently replaced all the windows and made updates to the property where needed. The biggest thing they did in my opinion was include the laundry in the rent (12$ a month) so I could basically do laundry whenever I wanted. My only qualm was I fell victim to 3 or 4 episodes of package theft, unsure if it was someone in the building or outside. I know some of my neighbors experienced the same. Management didn t really do much besides send an email about it.

Otherwise great place, I only moved because of work and I miss my home at 26 Dale!

I have to question a companies professionalism when the safety of residents and their right to peaceful living is disregarded in favor of keeping a unit full. I am specifically speaking about Arron at the St. Cloud location. His complacency is astounding. I have lived at Stratford Terrace for several months now. I have been dealing with an upstairs neighbor who at all hours of the day is either pounding on the walls or floor and it's constant. In addition they are obviously having physical disputes as at times it sounds very violent. I am not one to call the cops but when I brought this to the attention of management their response was "we arent the police". It strictly states in the leasing contract in section 7 that there is a strict noise ordinance and it is enforced outside of quiet time hours and that in certain cases cops can be called. So what cases exactly? Whats the extent? Does someone need to be murdered in order for management to care about the well being of their tenants.
