Pretty nice. Noise cancellation for the room could be improved

The room was clean and in good condition. When we complained that the toilet's flush button is hard to be pushed, they fixed it. The room is not in good soundproof tho. I could hear the neighbor ladies chatting and even their phone message notification tone can be heard, I think maybe it's because of the connecting door. In addition, as I stayed in 9th floor, the vehicle crowd at the busy hours from the road was a bit bothering.

Had to spend two nights in this place, and this place is wonderfull, the pool and cafe is on the rooftop, nice servings here, the place location is suitable for you if you want to go to places near the simpang lima.

It's quite comfortable for a seminar place, and the rooms are comfortable, clean. Near the location of souvenir milkfish presto, and close to the center of Semarang, namely Simpang Lima. Located along Pandanaran road which is complete with all public facilities.

Aston Inn Pandanaran Semarang is one of the big and nice hotels in the city of Semarang. The hotel architecture looks from the outside looks very elegant. In addition, the interior is no less interesting. Here besides renting out rooms, it also rents out meeting places.

The parking lot is in the basement, very narrow, but you can use valet parking (free) if you want, there is a free swimming pool and a free fitness area.

the rooms are clean, spacious too..there is a fridge, there is a teamaker, there are slippers, near the pillow there is a usb for charge .. the inet is okay, in the room there is a wifi router, whether I just put it in my room or have the standard facilities for each room .. ac its cold ... the mattress is a bit hard, the tv channel is pretty good ...

The bathroom has great hot water, there is a hairdryer, unfortunately the sink is a bit clogged, and the floor is slippery because the ceramic is not textured, the partition between the shower area & the toilet area uses plastic curtains (feels old) ...

The breakfast choices are quite a lot of standard but there is a noodle station, soup station, station chicken porridge, buns, ala carte menu (fried rice, vegetables, potatoes, omelette / fried egg) you can order ommelete too ... there are pancakes too ...
there is a traditional menu (mangut catfish, sayur2an etc.)

The choice of drinking std (guava, mango, plain water, infused water) includes cereal + milk ..

The room is not soundproof, the chat from the next room and the cellphone notification from the opposite room can be heard clearly, especially the voices in the corridor. The bathroom is super dirty, the towels are yellowish too. Standard service. Plus point is only in a strategic location. Ketnya 4 star, but taste 3 star. Even my in-law insists this is a 3-starred hotel so bad hahaha. First and last stay.

We stayed in Aston Inn Semarang for two nights, and booked Deluxe room for our stay. The hotel itself actually located in a very strategic place and our room overlooked on a busy street. Sometimes I found it a bit loud, but overall it was ok.

As we checked in, there was no need to wait for long. The receiptionist was extremely helpful and accomodated our special request. The bellboy was super agile to help with our baggage.

We got a room in 10th floor and near the lift. The room's super comfy and awesome! However, the amenities we received was not completed as it should be. There was only shampoo, no shower gel. Furthermore, no laundry or sanitary bag that we can use for our things.

Sadly, the mini refrigerator in the room was not working well. We placed the cake we bought earlier and it did not stay good. The other thing was tv channel seemed like repeating L over the movie. I mean, I have stayed in another Aston in the same week but the tvchannel kept playing the same movies. It's odd, isn't it?

Beside the room, we also tried the breakfast and found out the menu available were so many. The taste is so-so, but the service was excellent. This was better than Aston in Bekasi, place we stayed prior to this visit.

For the facilities, I tried the pool and it was ok. Not big enough, but good. No guard around the pool, and it was a bit hard to find the pool towel we can borrow.

For the gym, it was outdated. I barely hard to breathe, because there was no air in the gym. The equipments were old, but some of them still working.

Well, another thing is their front building was not completed. I sometimes wondering why it still not completed, during the stay (lol).

As conclusion to my personal experience, I think this hotel is great and value for money. Best opt whenever Im visiting Semarang.

New building ... clean, friendly and fast service. The swimming pool is also clean, doesn't smell like chlorine ... there is also a special pool for children.
The breakfast menu is also varied and delicious ... love the bread. Hmm ... nyummy ...

If you are hungry in front there are several food stalls or if you want to leave the hotel to the left and right, there are also many stalls.

The breakfast is not much different from Neo Hotel, Yogyakarta.

1. The room was not clean enough, there are stains in front of bathroom door. Also, i found hairs under the table and previous guest socks under the bed.
2. Breakfast are so-so, not as i hoped from Aston chain. Same menu for 3 days staying there.
3. Book the hotel since 3 months ago, asked for large/double bed, given twin bed by frontdesk, they say the hotel is full booked. Super dissapointed.
4. Location is the best for this hotel.

Strategic but the service is not satisfactory for Aston class hotels. Sink water can not be cold, the breakfast menu is little and quickly runs out, not immediately refilled. The cutlery is not directly available at the table, it must wait to be delivered. The meeting facilities are also some broken equipment, enough to hamper the activity

For those of you who stay in just staying at Aston Inn

Fairly passable hotel. Complete facilities and good views, even though the view in the room I stayed in was just the next building, but the view on the rooftop is very beautiful. This rooftop is equipped with a swimming pool that can be used until the night. In addition, a restaurant for breakfast and dining is also on the rooftop (sky lounge). We can enjoy breakfast by watching the sunrise in the east. The staff is also very responsive and friendly. Not disappointed. The location is very strategic, close to the center of Semarang's typical souvenirs in Pandanaran, easy access, also close to various Semarang tourist icons such as the old city, Lawang Sewu, and Simpang Lima, etc. You can enjoy morning to night by walking around the hotel. Many local culinary delights that can be tried near the hotel. Many local food vendors nearby. Fast wifi.


Overall, It's recommended for you to stay in.

Aston Pandanaran hotel, near MCD. But if you bring a two-wheeled vehicle, if you want to park on the other side. You have to walk again.

This hotel is newly finished and I can see it's not yet lived up to its expectation and Aston's long stand name. The problem however lays in the staffs...I have stayed in Aston in various places even in considerably distance area like Kupang NTT - Aston has always been great. But this one in Pandanaran Semarang is not good because the staffs are slow and I can sense a bit lazy. Unbelievable a Hotel like Aston has no hand towel in the bathroom even when I politely asked for it! The bathroom was unclean, lots of hair, seems like it was last minute prepared or something. Staffs weren't smiling and slow! Not recommended until the management willing to fix this!!!
