Assist Ambulance Company Review

An amazing ambulance company. Reliable, fast, safe, caring.

This company was tasked to pick up my mother post hip replacement surgery. After waiting 3 hours past her pick up time we called the dispatcher and we were told they would be there in 10 minutes. we called back 45 minutes later and we were told ten minutes again. 45 min after that, we were told they were in the elevator of the hospital. 30 min later we were using the back of our SUV to bring my mother back home.

I called the supervisor and t as introduced myself as a Paramedic and I was met with disrespect and excuses by on duty supervisor.

This is not acceptable, this little rant is not the end of my discussion about this less than mediocre operation. As a professional you are supposed to be able to deal with critical opinions and concerns, not get upset and disrespectful when faced with them.

The fact that I am in the industry and was dealt with in this manner makes me afraid for others and their loved ones.

makes me wonder if my last name were different would the call to this guy gone differently. just food for thought anot making accusations

Unreliable AND unprofessional. 3 1/2 hours delay!!! In the middle of the night I spoke to dispatch supervisor who said that team which suppose to pick up my mother, who is bad bounded on oxygen, from hospital to transfer home was diverted to a different job!!! no explanation! no Apologies! After our conversation supervisor cancelled transfer appointment!
If you hear that service to be performed by ASSIST AMBULANCE, insist on using different company!!!

Miss Pierre and her partner are allstar EMT's
They treated me with respect and compassion when they transported me to interfaith hospital. I used to work at Assit as an EMT in the 90s and compassion is something you can't teach. I was in a lot of pain and I was well taking care of.

Had a 130pm pickup but found out that the hospital didn t call till almost 3pm, not Assist fault. The techs Moore(Ravi) and Sharma vehicle #623 were very professional and took care of my mom as better than I could have even bring her to the rehabilitation place they were patient and professional even as I noticed that a few of the staff was not too accepting.
Thanks guys and I hope and expect the rest of the Assist staff is the same if not better.

Amazing ambulance company! Would highly recommend for all your transportation needs!

I m a volunteer with a local ambulance squad. Recently I met crew 790 at the local ER. They helped us transfer our patient and were extremely kind and outgoing. As an EMS professional I highly recommend this service.
