The West University of Timi oara (Romanian: Universitatea de Vest din Timi oara; abbreviated UVT) is a university located in Timi oara, Romania. Established in 1962, it is organized in 11 faculties. Classified as a research and education university by the Ministry of Education, it is one of the five members of the Universitaria Consortium (the group of elite Romanian universities). The West University is an institution of the National System of Research, Development and Innovation in its capacity as an accredited higher education institution.

Teachers dedicated to students. The faculty is located near Cardinal Points and Unirii Square. From the student complex to the FAD are approx. 20 min walk. recommend

A place of joy and peace where you can learn your way trough art while also enjoying life and the peace of mind, getting ispired by many sculptures galleries from the inside and outside with kind and caring people, also probably the only college clever enough to make a lot of seats outside for recreation!

Story time! The marketing teacher, Diana Andreescu, the owner of osd, occupies 95% of the course with her mother-in-law's gossip. Once I could not attend for an hour her fascinating course about the mother-in-law, due to my internship, and she scolded me, later admitting that she confused me with another student with whom she has a personal problem
Another story: Mr. Caratgiu from the engraving commented to me every detail of my works until they came to imitate his style precisely. Then at the end he had the audacity to ask me what the work expresses
