Lovely staff just a pitty they take certain products off after a time even though they are good sellers . There own curries (chilled) are mainly chicken not much variety of other meats 1 lamb and 1 beef there used to be a good variety

definitely a one stop shop.... i really like this store because it offers a good range of makeup, hair products, home decor stuff and ofcourse all types of groceries...

like their huge range of cereals, biscuits and i love their honey nut cornflakes.. i can walk even miles to get it from asda...

Good value and stock range as you would expect from an Asda but the layout makes it hard to find things sometimes.

I like asda byker as its local for me but selection wise not nearly as good as hyper store Gosfo th they do have toilets an cafe pluss carpark

After having a nightmare day I nipped in on my way home for some shopping. After scanning all my things at the self service till I realised the pay pad did not accept contactless payment, and I had forgotten the PIN for the card I wanted to use. I thought I'll quickly transfer some cash from that account into one I did know the PIN for but I couldn't connect to the Internet to access my online accounts. With the queue piling up and the woman behind me becoming more and more irritated, one of the customer service girls came over to save me! She packed all my shopping for me while I went into the entrance of the store where she said the Internet signal was better. 2 minutes later, job done, she had put all my stuff at the customer service desk bagged and ready for me to pay for. Excellent customer service, I just want to say thank you for your help!

Only needed a few items, got them all and self scanned. In and out in 15 minutes.

Best area around, with cafe and restrooms. Can purchase everything you need including clothes and electrical items

No butternut squash! Confusing layout. Long wait for tills. Staff friendly and helpful though

Big store. Asda George and Asda Living also have departments in here. A lovely cafe serving great food Lovely helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Petrol station also. Cash machines. Click and collect service. Great produce. Open from 6am untill 10pm Monday to Saturday. Sunday opening is 10am till 4pm. Wheelchair access. Along with disabled toilet. Clean female toilets.

Large store to buy daily essentials. Also has a pharmacy, fresh bakery and deli on site. Plenty of checkouts so never have to wait long to purchase goods.

Be Carefull!! in this store some staff , uses racial offencive language to ethnic customers who come here to shop and in turn pay for this staff salary and bonus.

I honestly love asda and i know im only 15 but im thinking bout leaving school next year to try and get a job there, its close to me and the staff are lovely, they are so helpful. Just cant wait till a try and apply for a job there. best supermarket company every!!!

Very big store for all kinds of items. Great Value.

It's a fairly competent example of a supermarket. And is close to my house.

ASDA has a contract with a bus company to run every hour from opening time with the last bus starting in the walker area 14-40 hours to the store. This is a free shuttle service for store customers. This is an excellent store with a pharmacy & a great variety of children's clothes by George.There is also a cafeteria with a very good children's menu.

The layout is chaotic compared to other stores and some of the 'fresh' vegetables I bought, went off within a couple of days. This was including a butternut squash which I've never seen to melt inside.

4 stars because sometimes they let the stock run out which is very irritating if you go there just to buy a specific item

Huge variety of items at this store! Staff are friendly and helpful. I do almost all my grocery shopping here.

The Mos Eisley of the UK... Dogs on rope in the car park, but canny cheap for scran and lots of shoppers in pyjamas

Staff on shop floor are helpful and so are the checkout staff. However the cafe isn't as good hence my low star rating. I feel there is no order in the way they serve, cook etc. They take your order but always end up getting it wrong. If there is more than 2 people in the queue they can't cope. Now I know why Morrisons byker is alot more busy at meal times.

Really good opening &late closing times, as lots of people vary in times they are able to go do their groceries for various reasons,. Every thing that you need, lot of choices, helpful and quite pleasant staff on the floor,most people on tills very helpful but some need to

Usually it's ok , but on occasion they run out of certain things and don't bother re stacking the shelves which results in me travelling to asda at benton, which is a bit of a pisser when you're trying to save fuel.

Went for a coffee and ended up spending a few extra pounds on clothes and electrics at good prices

As far as supermarkets go, this store is probably as good as any. Not as cheap as Lidl or Aldi, but has a good selection of merchandise, clothing etc. Bus stop and taxis right outside. Cafe and toilets inside.

Service could be better staff with altitude only some of them

Prices are responsible, was clean and tidy. Shelves were fully stocked.

A great range of foods, produce, home and entertainment items, and technology is available here. Plenty of choice for those with all tastes and diets. The new scan and shop system has also now been introduced, making it even easier and faster to pay for your shopping and get out of the store. My only concern is the availability of staff on the shop floor, and the disorganised arrangement of some items. I've often struggled to find what I was looking for because it is shelved or kept far from where I'd expect. So the arrangement of the store could be improved a tad!

Good range and helpful staff. Some shelves hopelessly overloaded; vegetables thrown about like frisbies. Excellent taxi and koafibg helpers. Cafe is dull

It is big superstore with a variety of items available and bargains too

Expecting people to follow arrows but staff can walk anywhere shocking

As many store this one is located in a good place and has it all on the shelves.

Massive shop, has everything, clothes, electricals, food, essentials. Brilliant.
Not a big freezer section though but sometimes a cracking bargain to be found.
