Great staff, great classes, great diving events for divers to associate with each other. Highly recommended!

This is a terrific place! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They have everything you need or want in the way of gear, clothing, jewelry, or diving accessories. Brendon goes out of his way to make sure you get want to want, that everything fits correctly and you are happy. They ve got diving classes, and fun trips planned too! It truly is a one-stop place.

I am not one to normally write reviews but the Ascuba Venture staff went out of their way on countless (no kidding, in excess of 10-15) times to help me out, teach and educate me including some of the lesser known parts of diving, such as the behind the scenes and operation of air/NITROX banks. Anytime I ever had a question, they fully welcomed it with information that I have yet to have ever found to be other than exactly what they said.

I did my open water certification (and later on four specialty courses) with them and had a terrific experience with all of it. They encourage you to be a well rounded diver with all the information you can have. The staff quite often educates any diver that walks in (which was me multiple times a week), on whatever they needed, at no cost, even if the person didn't buy anything or have any intention on buying anything. They taught me all I needed to know (and more) regarding the smart way to decide how and when to go diving at certain local dive sites, this included in showing me websites, printing stuff out for me, explaining how to read it, what to look for, and what other factors to take into account. And they do this to everyone, with regard to just about any subject.

The shop atmosphere is laid back and inviting, thus creating a family atmosphere. On more than one occasion I was invited to go out diving by staff or referred to certain people, so I could dive when I wanted and as much as I was trying to.

At one point I had a piece of my equipment fail, at no fault/liability of the shop, while on a dive trip. The dive leader disassembled his own personal gear, to fix me up, so that I could finish the trip out without hesitation. When I got back, I took it to the shop, they troubleshot it, and decided it was something that needed to be sent to the manufacturer. It was sent off the next morning, and they let me know what was going on with it each step of the way.

When I moved away from Corpus, their staff referred me to another shop, dive charter company, and told me which dive sites were best in the area I was going to. They also made sure that I stayed informed of their international trips, so that I could join them, since they knew that was something I was interested in.

Awesome customer service! Competitive prices too. Getting my diver certification was one of the best things I have ever done. I can now check this off of my "bucket list."

I was iffy with the reviews but stopped by anyway. Luckily I did, they greeted me at the door, answered question I didn't even know to ask. Gave me the information I needed to set up a payment plan to purchase the gear and pay for certification. I let them know I was a student and they worked with me on the payments. Can't wait to go the social meet ups and dive trips they provide.

Great selection friendly staff will definitely be back

Listed as a Vibram merchant on their website. Retailer discontinued carrying and didn't bother to remove themselves from the vendor list. Very rude when asked for a product they are advertised as selling and no longer stock.

Was ignored and not helped. Also, I saw that they tow cars from their parking lot even when they re closed and not in need of parking spaces. That seems pretty mean spirited to me!

Great shop, they worked with my sched to get my dives done and classes completed all the employees were great, my instructor Deanna was simply AWESOME

I came in and was immediately greeted and welcomed into a shop offered me to do a try scuba ended up buying the full package and now I love diving love underwater love seeing and being around the people that work at the shop and other divers. Amazing people to be around and to dive with.

Great and knowledgeable staff. Wonderful and fun learning experience. They are military friendly too. Thanks for the training and support throughout the whole time.
