First of all- what a great guy! You'll be doing business with a professional locksmith but also very personable and friendly. He has helped me with my MBZ and I have recommended him to my friends with other European cars and everyone was very happy. So if you need a smart key made on the spot - this is your guy!

I encountered a difficult car situation, during this pandemic, that was going to cost me $5k due to a stolen key fob. I contacted Artemis Locksmith after finding him via google and he was able to resolve the problem quickly (unlike the actual car dealership which took an entire week to tell me they couldn't fix it unless I paid $5k, he fixed my situation in less than 30 minutes), very professional in explaining to me what needed to happen, transparent about cost, and literally saved me thousands of dollars. Car turns on without an issue and runs as if nothing happened. Thank you SO much!!

After the airline lost my keys I explored several options for getting my car back online. Either tow the car to the dealership and have them re-key the smart keys (it would take a long time and was expensive) or find a mobile locksmith. I chose the latter and found Ian. He answered the phone promptly, listened to what I needed, set a very convenient time, and kept in contact with me til he arrived at the parking garage. I could not be happier as I was stressed. He explained the options and cost. As someone had boxed me in on the driver's side it made getting into the car more difficult. Ian was able to open the car and start re-keying the car. He was efficient, capable, courteous, and quick. In less than an hour he was finished (all his tools are with him) and I was on my way. Whoa, this was pretty epic service. I wish he could give lessons on customer service because he ROCKS! 24 hours later, the keys (used OEM's) all work and I'm very satsfied.

It is frustrating to find a locksmith who can duplicate a key for a BMW. Most auto locksmiths will say that although they can do most cars, a BMW is more complicated and they cannot do it. Then those who say that they can do it will quote prices over a 2:1 range; that is from $185 to $400. I drove 35 minutes out to a locksmith who said he could do it, and after working on it for half-an-hour he told me that my car used the CAS3+ system for which he didn't have the software. He knew in advance of my visit the year and model, but apparently did not bother checking the CAS version before asking me to come over.

Then when I contacted Ian at Artemis and insisted that he confirm that he could duplicate a key for this model, he protested with the injured pride of a professional: of course, he said, he knew all this, and that he meant it when he said that he could do it.

He operates out of a van that, on my visit, was parked in a strip mall. He was competent, and completed the job in 30+ minutes using a high quality fob. When calibrated against a BMW dealer's price that lies in the upper stratosphere to duplicate a key, his price was at the lower end of the range I gave above---this is an honest price to the degree that anything to do with a BMW can be!

He is a young, intelligent man who takes pride in his work, with no fuss. I paid him the same amount that he had quoted on the phone.

Artemis Locksmith is the best place for your Auto key needs. I lost the key to my 2009 Audi A4 with smart key push start.and the tech was able
to supply and program a brand new key fob and a laser cut key. Hey was very prompt and fast with the best price I could find. I highly recommend this service.

I lost my keys. Tore up my apartment for two days, couldn't find them. No idea how I lost my keys during a pandemic while staying at home. I called at 9PM. He offered to do it same day but said there's a fee for afterhours and instead offered to arrive early the next day to save me money. We scheduled to replace my car key at 7:30AM the next morning. He arrived on time, made my key in about 20 minutes and we were done. He was very friendly and let me watch him make the key. It was cool! 10/10 service.

They are the only place I could find that was somewhat close that could make Saab keys. I live an hour away from North Hollywood and they came all the way out here to re-key my car. They were nice, professional, arrived quickly, and finished the job quickly. I couldn't ask for more!

Tip: take out cash from your bank beforehand because there is a 4% credit card fee.
