We went for a 3-hr glass-blowing experience. It was above and beyond our expectations. Way better than the one we had in Toronto. My wife and I opted for a private workshop which allowed a lot of hands-on time. Terry provided the perfect combination of guidance and holding our hands (literally) when required, while allowing the proper amount of independence. We could tell he's done a million times before, however, still makes you feel special. We already have ideas what we want to create next time! Jenn was very welcoming to their time-capsule property and beautiful renovated building (old church). Can't wait for our next workshop. Highly recommended!

Awesome glass work done with beer bottles. There are also many art pieces and the shop is very nice and the owner super helpful. I love the passion people have in these small towns and not being in a big city they have the time to share it with you. We stopped as I needed a coffee for the road back to Ottawa. Had a dog in customer training and I think it will make a great Mascot!! I'll be getting stuff from his website! And you should too.

Awesome team of glass blowers. Check their website for hours as this was on the Haliburton Studio Tour. Well worth the trip though. They do a particularly good job of explaining what they are doing and why.

My family and I did a 3-hour glassblowing workshop with Terry. He was friendly, professional, and a very helpful teacher. He clearly has many years of experience glassblowing and teaching. I would take another class with Terry, and I would recommend Artech to a friend who is interested in taking a class or just buying glass.

About Artech Studios

Artech Studios: Crafting Unique Glassware with Sustainability in Mind

Artech Glassblowing Studios is a traditional glassblowing studio located in the picturesque Highlands of Ontario, Canada. The studio has been producing unique and sustainable glassware for over a decade, earning a reputation as one of the most innovative and eco-friendly glass studios in North America.

At Artech Studios, we believe that sustainability should be at the forefront of every business decision. That's why we specialize in upcycling discarded beer bottles into beautiful and functional tableware and barware. Our recycled beer glasses are one of our most popular products - each glass is made from a repurposed beer bottle that still holds a full beer! We also offer other upcycled glass products such as vases, bowls, and candle holders.

Our team of skilled artisans uses traditional techniques to create each piece by hand. From blowing the molten glass to shaping it into its final form, every step is done with precision and care. This attention to detail ensures that each piece is not only beautiful but also functional.

In addition to our commitment to sustainability, we are also dedicated to creating unique designs that stand out from the crowd. Our product line includes everything from classic wine glasses to funky shot glasses - all with an eco-friendly twist.

But don't just take our word for it - Artech Studios has been featured in numerous publications including Canadian Living Magazine, Cottage Life Magazine, and The Globe & Mail newspaper.

We are proud members of the Ontario Craft Council and have participated in various craft shows across Canada including One Of A Kind Show Toronto & Vancouver , Circle Craft Christmas Market Vancouver , Signatures Show Ottawa & Winnipeg .

At Artech Studios we believe that art should be accessible to everyone which is why we offer workshops where you can learn how to blow your own recycled beer glasses or make your own fused-glass jewelry . These workshops are perfect for individuals or groups looking for a fun activity or team-building experience.

In conclusion, if you're looking for unique handmade glassware with sustainability at its core then look no further than Artech Glassblowing Studios. With our commitment to quality craftsmanship and eco-friendly practices combined with our dedication towards creating innovative designs ,we guarantee you'll find something special here!
